I love reading stories from other authors. One of the tropes I enjoy is the reborn trope. If you don't know what a reborn trope is, it's where the main character died for some reason and gets reborn again in the past at a certain age and tries to make her/his future better or successful. It feels satisfying watching the character's development and seeing how happy she/he is. The new people and the success after such hardships but what I hate in these types of novels is the ML.

The male lead is described as a cold, heartless, or emotionless person and I have no problem with it. But what I have a problem with is how the ML treated her in her past life and now. He was cold, disrespected, discarded, cheated, or ignored her in her past life but now he finds her 'interesting'?. Now he thinks she is worth his attention? Now he wants her?

And worse the FL is also catching feelings again? The guy who put you through things like that or abandoned you or didn't acknowledge you, now you are going back to him? Why?

I mean I get it that many people are attracted to jerk-like people or cold personality-like people, I, myself enjoy it but there is a limit, a limit that they shouldn't cross.
