Questions and Answers

Hi guys! I have been busy writing the beginning of the sequel and will have it up ASAP. I have something fun for you to do regarding the sequel in the meantime:

I need a title! There is only one specification - I would like the first letter of the title to be an I. If you guys can think of any, let me know, and if I use yours I will dedicate the book to you!

I have finally found all the photos for the characters, and they will be going up tomorrow so keep an eye out.

Now onto the questions! I loved them all! Thank you for everyone who gave me one, and if you didn't, but you have one, let me know what it is and I will answer it (if it isn't too much of a spoiler). I had a great time doing this!

Questions for Storm:

Q: Do you like Bambi? In the romantic way of course ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Also, I love you 💕💕

Colton: Oh come on author, he's not allowed to do that, no one else except for Ryder can speak any other languages.

Charlotte Carol: Are you going to argue with me? I have control over your life.

Colton: No, ma'am.

Storm: I love you too, reader!

Translation: Since we first saw her, my feelings for her are getting stronger. She started platonic, but this is changing as I know her and my little sun more. I do not think she is ready to know.

Question for Bambi:

Q: Who of the guys do you like the most, and why?

A: I don't know. I can't choose. I like them all for different reasons. I haven't known them for long, so we are just getting to know each other, but they are all amazing with Sophie so that is what matters to me the most with friends. She comes first. I have only just learnt their secret, and even met them, so we have a long way to go before I could possibly give you an answer like that.

Questions for Charlotte Carol:

Q: Will you have separate endings?

A: I assume that you are asking because there are eight guys. The answer is no. There will only be one ending, but don't worry, everyone will be happy.

Q: Does her mom find a suitable husband?

A: I can't answer this without giving away any spoilers. Her mum is currently in hospital getting help with her addiction problem. Unfortunately after that, everything is not going to be as smooth sailing as we would like. She has a lot of feelings that have not been addressed, and her time in hospital will help this slightly, but also she has habits (changing boyfriends constantly) that she may find hard to change. The epilogue gave some insight into the kind of feelings she has and how she's dealing with being sober after a long time.

Q: Does Sophie end up having a sister?

A: Bambi, and the story, has a long way to go before this is probably going to be an option. Sophie, even though Bambi loves her very much and her opinion has changed, was not exactly wanted, so she will take a while before she is ready to think about any more children (due to the bad connotations that they have, and not being able to afford another any time soon).

Q: Where did her mom get that $10,000?

Amanda: That is none of your business how I earned my money.

Charlotte Carol: Earned my ass...

(Hint: She may have gotten it another way due to her job)

Q: Will she ever be with one of the guys? *cough* Storm *cough*

A: If we're not careful all the attention will go to Storm's head. ;) This will be addressed later in the series of books.

Q: Terry went to jail for a long, long, LONG time, right? *cough* For life *cough*

A: This should partly be explained in the epilogue, however I thought I would expand on it. He was arrested, however unfortunately he will not be prosecuted for many reasons. 1. Bambi would have to testify against him, and does not want to do that. It would be his word (having been drunk he can't remember) against hers. 2. It would cause more trouble than good (Storm could potentially be arrested himself as a result of assaulting Terry. I looked it up and he could claim that he was defending Bambi to a certain point, but because he went beyond what was needed to stop the threat, he would be charged with assault). 3. Terry has learnt his lesson, and will not go anywhere near her again. A redeeming point is that he is in hospital, severely injured. He will not press charges against the guys.

Q: Where is this asshole Jack and what's he been up to?

Jack: Well, I have been in England...

Charlotte Carol: *pushes Jack out of book, before pointing after him* you're not allowed in the book yet, you need to think about what you've done.

Jack: It's been three years!

Charlotte Carol: I don't care! You've caused enough damage.

Q: Thank you and I love you for creating this book.

A: It was a pleasure! You are very welcome! I love you for reading it! I am very glad that you enjoyed it! It means a lot to know! I had a lot of fun writing it, and can't wait to continue with the series and hopefully you continue to enjoy it as much.

Q: How did the doc [Gerard] pick the boys to be tested on? There are lots of boys...

A: This will be addressed in upcoming books, but I'll give a quick explanation now (I won't be going too in depth, that will come later). It started by Gerard, and his team, choosing the traits that they wanted to see if they could single out (as well as seeing if they could speed up the healing process). They worked out what the main skills there are that people have thereabouts (Music, Survival, Fighting, Sciences, Mechanics/Electronics, Arts, Languages, Sports), so they began their research, as they would not be testing it on anyone until they knew that they had something which could potentially work. They eventually found how they could single out the genes that helped with susceptibility to each of the skills, and so the search began for 8 boys, and 8 girls. They went to local schools, looking for kids around 6, as that is when for most children are more susceptible to learning different things. At each school they observed the kids interacting. They didn't want kids who seemed like they would use their skills they acquired to show off, or be in the spotlight with them. They also discounted kids who were already pursuing one of the skills they were looking for (as they wanted clean slates to see whether it was successful). This narrowed it down, but they still didn't have 8. There were 2 groups of friends that they were drawn to. Gerard thought that it may be easier on the boys if they had friends going through it all with them, so they approached the two groups of friends, asking if they were interested in being part of the experiment, and giving them a letter to their parents which they had to sign, explaining what they would be doing. The boys, in their groups, all agreed that they wanted to be part of it, and got their letters signed in one way or another. A couple may have deceived their parents about what they were allowing the boys to do... The boys decided between themselves who would have which traits. For a year, the boys, and girls, that they found were monitored in Phoenix at the facility. After the experiment was completed, they were returned home (now firmly friends) and to school (where they did Grade One again, hence them being older than their classmates). I am not a scientist (and it is purely fictional) however I will try my best to make the methods that come up later in the books on how they did give the boys abilities as close as I can to what is able to be done in the real world (for example in the real world when Genes are changed it will most likely not change all the genes. They will replicate the changed genes as they grow older, but I'm going to be using some artistic license and say that the genes overpowered and allowed the boys to have these abilities, you also can't, of course, single out personality traits). I hope that all made sense, if not let me know, or if you can, wait until it's explained later in the series.

Q: Who does she end up with?

A: *winks* You'll have to wait and see. Everyone should be happy with the outcome. Bambi and Sophie deserve a lot of love after everything they have been through... don't you agree? I know some of you know where the story is heading, but for those of you who don't you'll have to find out as the books go on.

Q: How many books are there going to be in the series?

A: I am not 100% sure. I have a lot planned for Bambi, Sophie, and the guys so it could be a long series. It all depends on how much imagination I have for the series (which is currently a lot) and whether people still want to read it! I had originally planned for 26 (one for each letter of the series title, each title beginning with its corresponding letter) and am still working towards that number, but again it all depends on my imagination and what else is going on. It could take me a long time to get to that number so we'll see. There a lot of things that are unanswered and new things that are to appear later on so it won't be stopping anytime soon. I love to write it as well, so I could go on and on. Would you read 26 if I am able to write them? It may be too early for you to be able to tell, but please let me know what you think of the idea. If you would, I'd better get typing... ;)

Q: Will Sophie be older in the next book?

A: No. She will be the same age (3), however we will see her grow as the books go on. The sequel will pick up a couple of days after this books ended.

Q: Can you tell us about yourself?

A: I can. Like Bambi, I am from England. I have been writing in some form, for as long as I can remember. I started off with basic short stories when I was young but after a few attempts (and some poor outcomes looking back) I forgot about it for a while. I then started to get more into novel writing a couple of years ago, mainly because of events going on in my life. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety, and it meant that on some days I was unable to leave the house. It was on those days, and others, that I escaped from my struggles into worlds that I had created. It helped me a lot, and I kept the writing to myself for a long time. Eventually I found the confidence to post them on here, and the rest has come from there. My family and friends didn't know that I was doing so until about a year ago. I never expected for everything to be so well received. It was a dream come true. I find myself writing about topics which usually aren't discussed, as mental health hasn't been talked about a lot in the past, and only recently has it become something in the spotlight. The reason I write is to make other people happy, and to get some messages out there that I could not without writing - I also love doing it and being creative.

Question for Terry, Tanner, and Jack:

Q: Fuck each and every one of you and I hope you all burn in hell, after suffering a slow, PAINFUL death 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

Charlotte Carol: As I said before, Terry is in hospital, so I will portraying his answer for you. *makes unintelligible noises*

Jack: *looks at Charlotte warily before backing away*

Tanner: *grins evilly*
