Major, received your last. Since I last messaged you I've been spoken to by the Joint Chiefs and called in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee, the House Armed Services Committee, and the National Security Council. Additionally, I've been briefed by members of the National Security Agency, the Department of Energy, the Department of Defense, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Finally, I've been in meetings with the Defense Clandestine Service was well as JSOC.

This is blowing up into a major landmine. The Soviet Union is demanding that their troops be returned as well as all the military equipment, but I was briefed that their military members were fucking wiped out to a man according to the Blackbriar Ridge Liaison. To. A. Fucking. Man.

What the hell happened out there? How did a Rear Detachment of forty people, not even combat arms or SOF, but fucking non-combat arms, wipe out a goddamn reinforced battalion of Soviet infantry with experience in Afghanistan?

The unit is a Special Weapons unit, which, as you know, means they are a Direct Action Unit with ChemCorps. This is not combat arms, but rather direct deployment of NBC weaponry. The concern of the Joint Chiefs and all the other panels, agencies, and committees is that NBC weaponry might have been utilized.

Find out what went on. Find out exactly the circumstances that led to the Soviet Union landing on Alfenwehr. Find out why the OIC of Rear Detachment had his soldiers engage the Soviet troops in combat. Find out exactly what happened up there. Determine if the Rules of Land Warfare and the Geneva Convention were adhered to.
