~Two weeks later

~Sam

I woke in Liz's arms. I smiled at the her. I got a mission alert. I don't want to wake her up. I laid down next to her. I felt her stirred in her sleep.

"Sam, we got a mission don't we?" Liz asked.

"Ouie, mon amour,"  I whispered.

"Then we better get going," she said, sitting up.

"Yeah. We should," I said, getting out of the bed. We got changed and headed up to the monitoring room. Liz and I walked into the monitoring room.

"What's going on, Hunter?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"We need someone to go on the run," Hunter said, spinning around in his chair.

"Okay," I said. I looked over at Liz.

"I think we need to go on this run," she said.

"Yeah but who are we going to be in charge if we leave?" I asked.

"Alice and Ben," Liz suggested.

"Good idea but let's get them up here," I sighed.

"Yeah. Let's get them up here," she said. Hunter press the com button. We told everyone to get up here. In few minutes, everyone was in the monitoring room.

"Liz and I is going on a run. Alice and Ben are in charge until we get back," I ordered. Everyone nodded. I walked out and whistle for Alpha.

I saw Sam walking out of the room and then she whistle for Alpha. I walked out behind her and whistle for Beta.  I walked down to our room to get pack for the run.  

"Liz, make sure you pack the gun and ammo," she reminded me.

"Yeah, I know and we might need more weapons," I said.

"Yeah, we also get the car ready," Sam said.

"I can get that ready. You can just finish packing," I suggested.  Sam nodded and continue packing. I walked up to level three, to get the car ready and more weapons and ammo.  I got more weapons and put it in the car.

"Liz, are you ready?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, let's get going," I said, getting in the car.

"Keys, Liz," she said. I threw her key. Sam caught her keys and got in. We pulled out of the base and headed off to find supplies. We started to drive out of the factory district and more in the stores area.

I drove in the retail district. I looked over towards Liz.

"Sam, I was wondering we could stay out a little longer. I don't want to go back to base, yet," she said.

"I know but we can't stay out to long but first let's get our supplies," I said, looking back towards the road.

"Okay," Liz said. I parked near a food store and clothes shop. I got out and pulled out my gun. I walked slowly out of the car with Liz, Alpha, and Beta behind me. I walked in and looked around for any zombies or others.

"Liz, be on guard," I whispered, looking around a corner.

"Got it," she said. We walked into the store making some noise to see if the zombie will come out but there was none. I walked in slowly and carefully into the store. I grabbed some items and put them in the bag.

"Grab as much stuff as you can," I said.

"Got it, mon lapin," Liz said. We walked grabbed the things on the list. We walked to the to the next store. We did the same route. I knock on the door to see if anything move on the inside. We waited and then we heard movement. I got at my gun and sign Liz that there was something inside. She nodded. I opened the door and pointed my gun from one side to another. I wave behind me for her to follow. I duck and crept slowly along a row of food. I walked in and saw two walkers.

"Liz, you get the one on the left. I get the one on the right," I ordered. She nodded and shot the one on the left. I took down the one on the right.

"Nice work babe," Liz said, pulling me into a kiss.

"Thanks, love," I said, after we pulled apart.

"Don't need but you welcome," she said.

"Alpha. Beta. You're on look out," I said, "Bark once if zombie. Bark twice if its a person," I order. Alpha barked as well as Beta. Liz and I walked further in the store.  We grabbed bags full of clothes, food, medicine, blankets, pillows, drinks, toys, and books.  I walked out and put the items in the trunk of my car. I looked back to see Liz was carrying out a lot of bags. 

"Do you think we got enough?" Liz asked.

" I think we might want to do another hit before calling it," I said, looking at the items.

"Alright. Where to?" she asked.

"Hmm... that one," I said, pointing at a big store.

"Alright but I'll drive," Liz said.

"Here you go," I said, handing off the keys to Liz.  I got in my side as Liz got in hers.  Liz drove to the next store that we are going to hit before we called it good.

"I'll take point," she stated.

"Okay lead the way," I said, giving a little bow. She walked in and I followed soon after. We walked around as quiet as we could. We heard nothing moving but that means nothing. We took precaution just in case. I looked around to see if anything is around us. I look towards Liz. She seems calm in all of this. 

"Liz, how you doing up there?" I whispered.

"Fine, just a little on edge," Liz replied.

"Yeah, I know the feeling," I said, continuing to look around. I grabbed some more items and put it school bags. Which you can find a lot of, some odd reason. I saw Liz was starring at something, "Liz, what are you looking at?" I asked.

"I saw something move," she said, looking at me then back to where she was looking.

"Okay I think we got what we need," I said, walking slowly backwards. Liz did the same. We got out to the car safely, "Do you want to drive back?" I asked.

"Not yet let's just wait for a few more minutes," Liz pleaded. I nodded. I lean my head on her shoulder, "So, you were a hit person?" She asked.

"I was," I mumbled.

"Fun. That means you know how to kill people in a lot of ways," She said. I nodded.

"I still get nightmares from the jobs," I whispered.

"I've noticed," Liz cooed, wrapping her arms around me.  

"Yeah," I said, slowly closing my eyes.

"Okay, let's get back to base. So, you can sleep," she whispered.

"Mmhmm," I hummed.
