A/N: Hey everyone. Hope you're all doing good in this quarantine because tbh I'm really bored. Alright so this part is about how hard and fast people's judgement could bring a person down.

              "Today is going to be a good day" she spoke to herself as she looked in the mirror. She was wearing a black flared jeans, a black and pink top complimenting it with a multi colored scarf around her neck. Minimal makeup adorned her features. Her earrings dangled as she shook her hair loose, cascading down to her lower back. She bent down to tighten the straps of her black heels. All in all she looked breathtaking!

            She reached her uncle's house, excited for the dinner party. Stepping in she hugged everyone and headed towards her group of cousins, the girl group as they liked to call it. They gushed about each others clothes hugging each other excitedly. They went inside her aunt's room where everyone was gathered. They greeted everyone and then one by one hugged their grandmother. She complimented until it was her turn. Her grandmother looked at her and said

         "Oh my good look at you!! You've gotten so fat! You look really fat. What have you done to yourself?"

              Her heart dropped to her stomach. Everyone, literally everyone was looking at her. She couldn't comprehend what had happened. She tried so hard to maintain her smile but she was sure that it must have faltered. All she could do was stare back at her grandmother, smile and do nothing. I mean what could she even do? When her grandmother was finished she sat down with her cousins. She tried to pretend that she was okay when in reality she knew that she wasn't. All she could think about were those words. Those poisonous words that everyone had heard. The words that will forever be etched in her heart and brain like a tattoo. That night as she lay in bed, trying to sleep. Trying to forget those horrible words, she knew. She knew that something broke in her that day. Something that could never be fixed.
