"Come on we need to go to the grocery shop" I yelled at Minah pulling her blanket off of her. I am in Minah house cause I wanted to go to grocery shopping. Mom gave me some money for the shopping and told me to bring few items.

"Two more minutes" I sighed before sitting on her bed. It is eleven in the morning and she is still sleeping. I took the jar of water from her side table before pouring it on her. "What the hell y/n" she glared at me. "Good, now get ready" I winked at her making my way downstairs. Minah house is descent with three bedrooms and a kitchen, living room and the dining room. Most of the walls are of cream color with handmade items held all around the house. It feels warm and cozy.

It's been a week Namjoon rejected me and he was now hanging out with Jiyeon. No one knows that I am his mate. Not even Minah knows about it. I did everything in me to be brave and acts as nothing affected me in front of Namjoon. I have been getting paler and weaker. She kept asking me what is wrong but I just shrugged it off. I don't want to bother her with my problem. I didn't tell anyone either. He was spending every day with her.

I ignored the pain and decided to live my life just like the way it is. I don't need a mate to help me through my life. It would have been good to have someone who actually cares about me. Guess I don't have that much luck. Moon goddess decided to make my life more miserable. I will not let anyone make my life miserable though.

Don't think that we will be happy too

I smiled at Drina she always has something to cheer me up for.

"I know don't worry I won't lose the hope"

"I am here" Minah got in the car and buckled the seat belt. She was wearing a yellow top with pink border and a pink skirt with pink heels. I started the car and after a while she started the radio. "Change it" I was about to change before she slapped my hand away. "No way it's my favorite song." She started singing along with singer. I must say Minah is a way bad singer. She is too loud. I started listening to it. It was change of heart. It is indeed a great song. Somehow it suits me a little.

These lyrics reminded me about my situation with Namjoon. He didn't gave me a chance and tried to work it but left me alone with all the pain and emptiness.

Remaining ride was same. Me saying no to every song and Aubrey singing along with them. We made it to Store and picking the items we need. "Give me the list I will go this way" I nodded and gave her the list. Now I went to take remaining items. I need to take for both me and Aubrey.

Eggs

Peanuts

Meat

Flour

Milk

Chocolates and few more items needed.

I went to put all those items in the shopping cart and walked along with Minah. Soon I felt pain in my chest like someone was ripping my heart out. I know it too well. It's been this way since I know my mate is Namjoon and I can feel him sleeping around with the others. My wolf told me I can feel it because he is being unfaithful. It will make me weak and sick. It affects me more cause I am near to him. My wolf has been helping me to be strong.

"Are you okay y/n?" Minah asked me looking concerned. I couldn't speak as it hurts a lot. I couldn't stand anymore. I slowly sat on the ground with the support of wall and started crying. People were giving me strange looks some with sympathy but I don't care now. When the pain lessened a bit, I got up slowly and walked to the car with Minah's help. After a while pain was completely gone. Minah was worried as hell. She is on the verge of crying. She doesn't know what to do. I started to cool down after a while.

"What the hell happened to you?" Minah asked me still terrified and shaken with fear. I can see worry in her eyes. "First you have to promise me you won't tell anyone" she hesitated but agreed after thinking. "Well I found my mate" she squealed jumping up and down in car with happiness. "But he rejected me" that made her stop.

"What?" I told her everything what happened and how it will affect me for a while. She was silent for a while taking it all in. Her face held lot of emotions which soon her face morphed into anger. "I am going to kill him whether alpha or not" I sighed. "No, you will not say this to anyone." I know she will say something like this. She always has short temper.

"But--" I shook my head. "No Minah. Leave it" she stared at me but said she said nothing. She knows about me. It's not good to mess with me. Without a single word she started the car and drove home. I know she is mad but I don't want him to have the satisfaction of affecting me.

she pulled the car in front of her house. "I will see you later. I have evening shift at library today. I will give you the car in the evening" Minah frowned. Not because I am borrowing her car but because of my work. She hates it when I have to work. "Can I come with you?" I raised an eyebrow at her. She hates libraries because you can't speak much there. "Why?" she chuckled fiddling with her fingers which she does when she is shy or nervous.

"Is it because of Jin oppa?" her cheeks were red now as she shyly nods. "Then you can't" she pouted trying to convince me. "Those won't work on me Minah" she sighed frustrated. "We are training today. I promise to take you next time" she smiled when I said the next time. "Ok see you later then" she waved before walking inside her house.

I smiled watching how happy she was when I mentioned Jin. I can't blame her for liking him. He is too handsome and kind guy. I met him two years back when I started working in the library. He also works there as librarian. He is like a brother to me who is always there for me when I need someone. He knows about my family and some part of bullying but I convinced him to ignore it.

He agreed to do it but on one condition. He wanted to train me how to fight so I can defend myself. "Hey y/n" I was greeted by his handsome face as soon as I entered the library. "Hi oppa" I placed my bag on the counter behind him which has my training clothes. Since we can't practice daily we agreed to do it every Friday and Saturday. "We will practice once we close the library" he said earning a nod from me.

"Fine by me" We don't have much work today. All I have to do is set books in their places. I took some books before walking in to place them in order. I looked at the books names. Shakespeare books goes to last rack. I always loved working in the library. It gave me the peace from my so boring and abusive life. I placed books in their place and started scrolling through the racks for some interesting books.

We have lot of history books too. Soon my eyes stopped at familiar book. "It is an interesting book" I turned around and saw Jin oppa smiling at me. "Have you read it?" I asked him referring to the book. "It's a shame if you don't know this story as a werewolf" he grinned proudly. He is a werewolf too. But he is not part of our pack or any for that matter. He got special permission from alpha to stay in our territory. He never told me how he got permission though. "My dad used to tell me this story when I was kid but I don't remember this much now"

He took the book from me and opened it. "I remember clearly and I can tell you. Once there was a girl named Alessandra. She was a witch and also mates to a wolf named Camden. Camden was the alpha of a strong pack. He was strong and kind man. They fall in love instantly. After a few years Camden died in a war and Alessandra summoned the king of hell Paymon. If you summon Paymon you have to sacrifice something to him in return. She offered her first child in return of Camden's life. Paymon took their child. He was blessed with both wolf and demon species. He was too powerful soon he started war on other wolves cause he wanted to be the leader. Then Valoel sent his daughter to save the wolf race from Cayden."

"Valoel is an angel, right?" he glared at me for interrupting him. "Yes. He is an archangel who keeps the happiness and peace in the world" I nodded listening to him contently. "Larissa was the daughter of Valoel and she was born with blessings of angels. She killed him and saved our race from demons" he made weird sounds closing the books. I chuckled looking at his face.

"It was a true story and they say she is one of the greatest wolves ever lived in the world" Jin told me after few minutes of discussion. "do you think she could ever come again?" Jin oppa shrugged. "Maybe she will if things go out of proportion again" I nodded absentmindedly thinking about all the things I have learned. "Anyway, let's go and start practice" we locked the library before going to his home.

His house is ten minutes away from the library. He prepared special room in the basement where we usually practice. "I will get some drinks. Go downstairs and get ready" I grinned and gave him a salute playfully before walking to bathroom. I changed in to training clothes and made my way to basement. It is not too big but enough for two people. We can practice comfortably here. I did stretches to relax my body.

"Are you ready?" I got up an turned to face Jin oppa. He was already in his training clothes. We both got in our stan ready to fight. I waited for him to make first move. He attacked me with left hand I dodged it and he started punching me using both of his hands at lightning speed. I dodged two punches but he was too quick. I dodged his next punches but he took the chance and punched me in the stomach. Before I can get up he punched my jaw making me fall.

"That's all you got?" I glared at him pushing my hair away from my face. I took two large strides and punched him but he avoided it with his left hand and punched me again. I steadied myself easily but he kicked my stomach making fell on the ground again. "Don't let the anger blind you" he told me seriously before attacking me again.

I struggled for few minutes but after that I was able to dodge his moves. I can't get the chance to hit him so I played safe defending myself from his attacks. I punched him when he was slightly distracted but he grabbed my hand in mid hair turning me so that he has access to my body. He repeatedly punched my stomach. I groaned in pain at continuous punches. They are going bruise for sure.

I twisted his hand making him loosen his grip on me. I used my free hand punched him on the face. Then I kicked him in the stomach hardly not giving chance to get up. He groaned in pain clutching his stomach. "That was good" he said asking for help. I took his hand to pull him up but he pulled me down and rolled us so I was on the ground and he was above me with his hand on my neck. One punch on my side and I would be dead.

"Never let your guard down. That is the first thing in the fight" I nodded and he let me go. He walked to near table to get some water. I sat on the ground and sighed. "here" he tossed a water bottle and I caught it swiftly. "You have improved a lot" he told me sitting in front of me on the ground. "Don't fret it. I know I am bad"

"You know it is not about beating the other person. We are not in some competition. Main thing when you fight for us is to survive. You should be able to take few punches until you get the chance. But when you got the chance never miss it. Cause if you do you are dead" I listened to him carefully sipping my water occasionally.

"What is the with that face?" he flicked my forehead looking at my sulking expression. "It's just I want to get better" I frowned "I always wanted to become great warrior like my dad but I am not even good at defending myself" he already knows about my dad so it wasn't hard to talk to him about it. "I am sure you will become like him one day" I shook my head pouting. "I don't think so. I can't even beat you"

"Yah, are you saying I am not good at fighting" I snorted "we both know the answer to that" he looked baffled at my comment. "You punk come here" I chuckled before running to upstairs with Jin oppa hot on my trails. If he wants to he can catch me in seconds but he wasn't trying. I smiled knowingly he was trying to cheer me up. "Caught you" he tickled me making me scream his name. "Oppa stop" he let me go once he saw tears in my eyes.

"That was mean" I pouted wiping my face. "That's what you get for teasing me" he grinned before winking. "whatever" I laid down on the sofa and he walked in to the kitchen. "Are you staying for dinner?" sometimes I spend whole day here when Minah is busy. Jin oppa always takes care of me as I am his own sister. At times I wish he really was. "I can't I have to visit dad today and I promised Minah I will go to her house tonight"

"Ok" he rummaged through cabinets and passed me a chips packet. "let's meet tomorrow at same time then" I agreed with him. After few minutes of doing nothing I decided to leave. After that I went to cemetery to visit my dad. I usually visit him every Sunday. He is one of the reasons I don't run away. He is the only family who actually care about me I can't leave him. Moreover I don't want to be rouge too.

That's all he got. My mom was really nice when dad was alive. We were a perfect family but she changed the day my dad died. She is all bitchy now. I sighed and put the flowers I bought on his grave.

"Hey dad, I have something to tell you. Guess what I found my mate but he rejected me. I guess nothing is going to change my life now"

Don't say that. Have hope my inner wolf Drina told me

I wish you are right but we both know it's not possible.

She didn't answer me. I know she is crushed because of the rejection. I just stood there for a while and before leaving to Minah house.
