Fighting battles alone will leave unbearable scars.

Y/N:

I was running in the woods panting hardly in the darkness. Running away from something, more like someone. "Y/n" a taunting voice cooed in the silence of forest. It was a guy and his voice sounded so dangerous. My eyes wandered around in the dark to see him but no one was there. I was wearing sweat pants and a tank top. My hair tangled in my face. I was running aimlessly in the woods dodging all the trees in my way. It was like I couldn't feel anything. The moon light was the only light source in the forest. The tears were streaming down my face as I kept running afraid of something which I don't know.

I heard footsteps behind me and immediately I know he was getting closer. Panic flooded through me as I heard the sound of footsteps get closer. My feet hit the dirt road leading the path out of the woods. I had to get out of here before he can catch me. That's when man caught up with me. He pulled me by his arms around my waist. I could feel his hot breath at my neck. I screamed and pried his arms of off me.

I throw him against a tree. He didn't give up. He pulled me again. I was very tired and my breathing came slow. He turned me in his arms so I was now face to face with him. I screamed again. I trembled as I looked at him. His eyes were pure black with full of fury and he have the dangerous aura around him. His lips turned upwards with a sinister smile. I backed up trying to get away from him but he pulled me back.

"You think you can run away from me" he snarled in my face. I jumped a bit in fear. My head was pounding and I can hear my heart beating. It was too fast. "Who are you?" I managed to say only above a whisper. He laughed wickedly throwing his head back. "Your worst nightmare" he pushed me to the tree and as my back touched tree I gasped in pain. Now his teeth grew longer out and he bit my neck.

"Please don't" the words escaped my lips just a whisper. It felt slow motion as his teeth sunk deeper taking my flesh out. Bright light started to fade away as black dots consumed my vision. I couldn't stop cry escaping my lips.

I shot up in pain to only realize that I am in my bed. I looked around the room to check if anyone was in but the door and windows were locked safely. I dashed to the bathroom mirror and checked my neck. It was fine but I felt the pain as it was true. There were no bite marks but it was red like someone put pressure on it. I saw the time. It was only five in the morning.

I got a long shower to clear my thoughts. I had the same memory from the last few days. I don't understand what it means though. I never met that person but it seems like I know him before. But I don't know where. He looked so furious like I did something to him and the way his eyes turned black scared me to the core. He wasn't a wolf or a human. His aura was different but again it was a dream. God I am going insane.

Once I was clean I got dressed in cute purple sweater with black jeans. I walked downstairs and realized I was the only one in the house. Mom and Frank went on a business trip and won't be back for a week. Today is Sunday. I don't have much homework but I have to clean the house. my practice session was good yesterday. I spent extra time at Jin oppa place with Minah. She was so excited whole night. We practiced for a while then had dinner cooked by Jin oppa.

I must say he is very good at cooking. I just love his food. We played games after dinned then I came home. It felt nice not to have mom to nag me for not doing chores. I was dead tired so I went to sleep directly. I looked at time when I was done cleaning house. It was six in the evening. I was too tired to move now. Guess I will just sleep till tomorrow.

I closed my eyes laying on the couch. But groaned in annoyance when I heard my doorbell go off. Mom and Frank won't be coming today so who could it be? I sleepily made my way to the door and opened it. "Took you long enough" Minah said pushing past me in to the house. I sighed closing the door and walked in to living room. "What brings you here?" she laid on the sofa casually. "We have a pack meeting to attend"

"Us?" I asked her earning a nod from her. "Alpha informed today meeting is for everyone. I know your mom isn't home so I came to inform you" usually they will inform the head of the house so all can come. But mom won't bother to call me for something related to pack ever. "When is the meeting?" she checked her phone before answering me "It's at evening eight" I looked at time and said "I should get ready then"

"I am helping you with your dress" she clapped her hands excitedly. "No thanks. I can do it by my own" she walked in to my room not listening to me. I shook my head knowing she won't listen. She opened the closet door checking the dresses in it. "You should wear this" she said pointing to a black sleeveless dress. It was too revealing and short. "I am not going to club Minah" she rolled her eyes but kept it back in its place anyway. "This one" she pointed to an off shoulder dress. It was cute and simple but I didn't find it that suitable for the event. "I don't like it"

"You should do some shopping girl" she said making me chuckle. If only I have enough money I would have bought my own place first. I am saving the money so I can afford a house in the pack border and live peacefully. I don't know when will I able to do that? "I found it" I snapped out of my thoughts at Minah loud voice.

"How is it?" she was pointing to a into a cream-colored checkered shirt and a navy-blue floral skirt which will reach up to my mid-thigh. "Namjoon will regret his decision when he see you today" she grinned at me and I wondered what she could be planning now. It's not good when she has this look on her face.

I looked at dress again and remembered Jin oppa bought it for me when we went shopping last month. When I saw the cost, I kept it back but Jin oppa insisted for me to take it. "It's perfect. Go and get ready" she pushed me in to bathroom telling me to get ready without giving me chance to respond.

I took a shower and changed in to it. Alpha called everyone for a pack meeting in the evening. He usually doesn't call everyone to pack meeting. Only higher rank officials will go to the meeting and everyone will be informed about the details which are required. But he called everyone to the meeting today. It must be important. Which made me panic. What was wrong that he has to call everyone for meeting.

I walked all the way to pack house knowing I can't go with Mianh. I t old her to leave even though she insisted on giving me ride to the pack house. If Jungkook and his friends see us then they would bully Minah too. I don't want Minah to get hurt because of me. I walked through the woods humming to myself. I stopped walking when I felt a presence behind me. I looked around but no one was there so I continued walking again.

But I heard footsteps again and they were coming close to me. I felt someone hold my arm, I grabbed the hand twisting it making the person yelp. "Y/n, uh" I let go of him when I heard his voice. "Hoseok?" he turned around making my thoughts confirm. "What are you doing here?" I asked him confused. Hoseok is Namjoon best friend. He was supposed to become the beta but Hoseok was too kind and he decided to become doctor. So Namjoon chose Jungkook as his beta. Even though Jungkook is two years younger than Namjoon and Hoseok, he was very hard working so no one made any objection.

"I was out for a run and I saw you so I thought we could walk together but you have to hit me" he said in one sentence rubbing his arm. "You shouldn't have sneaked up on me" I said looking at his now bruised arm. I didn't realize I gripped it that hard. "I was just trying to surprise you" he pouted making me feel a little guilty.

"I am sorry" he nodded before walking beside me. "I should be the one saying sorry" I glanced at him confused. "even though I know those idiots are bullying you I am not helping you" he said looking ahead. He always feels sorry but they don't listen to him. sometimes people mock him for being coward and leaving beta position. But he doesn't care. "You are not the one doing it so don't be sorry"

"It could change if I am not just a bystander" I stopped walking making him turn stop and turn to me. "It's true but there are other people who know but decided to let it go. So stop beating yourself and be the good friend you are" I said not wanting to see him sad. He smiled after a minute showing his oh so famous dimples. That kind of remind me of Namjoon but I shook my head trying to erase those thoughts.

"I will join you once I change. Go in" he pointed to the pack house before walking to the right side where all the higher rank people live. I waved to him before making my way to pack house. When I entered the pack house I saw Jungkook and his parents talking about something seriously. As much as I hate to admit it Jungkook will be a good Beta. He is one of the strongest wolves in the pack. I wish he had some brain too. He doesn't even know I am the one who made fun of him in the school last week. Jiyeon and Jungkook got detention for that. Surprisingly Namjoon didn't tell them it was me.

"Y/n! Oh, my dear. How are you honey?" it was luna. She is Namjoon mom. She was looking beautiful in blue knee length dress. She looks so young. It's hard to guess she has a sixteen years old kid. She has a kind heart too. She is really nice and forgiving. She always treated pack members with respect.

"Hi Luna, I am great. You look beautiful" I said with a genuine smile. She is more of mom figure for me than my own mom. "You too honey. Oh, you have grown up so much" she said while hugging me. "Your dad would have been so proud of you" I smiled at her. Only if she was right. I am nowhere near to being perfect. "Mom... dad is looking for you" I was stuck when I heard his voice. I would be lying if I don't miss his touch and his affection. I guess it is because of mate bond but I felt so happy yet sad to be so close to him. I couldn't dare to look in to his eyes. I know I would collapse if I look at him.

"I will leave you to your work then" I walked away as fast as I can from there. I decided to wait in the training field until the meeting starts. Around ten minutes later everyone started coming. All of us gathered outside in the field waiting for alpha. Jungkook and Namjoon were on the little stage in front of whole pack. I slowly made my way to a corner and stood there watching Namjoon. He seems worried about something. He was looking at the floor intently like it is the most interesting thing in the world. Soon Alpha and Luna joined them with their beta. Everyone was silent once Alpha started talking.

"We called everyone because we have a situation. Rogues has been attacking lot of packs around our pack" I gasped. Everyone started talking to each other. Whispers grown in the room as soon as he said that. "We have to be alert and prepared for anything. So, I need every one who is above fourteen years to be in training and patrolling will be increased. No one will leave the pack territory without informing."

"I want extra training to be done and make sure not to leave your house alone" Alpha gave some instruction on training to Jungkook and Namjoon. They both told the pack the training will be starting tomorrow early in the morning. Soon meeting finished with giving people instructions about their patrolling shifts. This is horrible.

I slowly made my way back to home. If rouges started attacking it would be hell. It's not that we aren't capable. We have lot of people who are good at fighting but the I heard that they are merciless. They were silent for almost six years so why are they attacking now? I am just wondering in my thoughts that I didn't observe the tree branch.

I fell straight on my face landing on the land. My top was torn and I have a big cut in my knee. I tried to stand but it hurts too much. Crap it will take lot of time to heal. Sudden environment around me has changed. People were running all the ways.

That's when I realized rogues attacked us. I was stuck in wide open area where they could easily see me. Wolves from our pack started fighting with rouges. Soon whole land around me filled with blood. I tried to run away from there but to my luck my leg didn't supported me enough to escape. Even though I have been training I am nowhere near to fight a battle. I could barely protect myself.

I walked slowly towards the woods making sure no one was coming my way. Guess luck wasn't on my side cause I saw three wolves blocking my way. I stood still unable to do anything. One of the wolves circled slowly like I was its prey. Ok I guess I have to save myself. I can do it. I can't disappoint Jin and accept defeat so easily. I breathed in and waited for it to attack first. In the next second it jumped on me.

I ducked and it landed on other side before turning to me. I looked to my side other two wolves were approaching me. When they started running I stood still and in the last minute I jumped forward making the wolves collide. They fell back instantly groaning in pain. I took this chance and ran in to the woods.

Third wolf started chasing me. I landed on the ground when it jumped on me. I pushed it off of me and stood up. When he attacked me, I moved to my right and kicked his hind leg with my good leg. Son he turned to me before he can attack I grabbed its neck and throw him. He fell into a tree. Another one attacked me from behind then I pulled myself from him and thrown him on the ground but two more came to me. I looked around and saw lot of rouges were in this place. Before I can do anything, the large brown wolf hit me knocking me out. I saw Namjoon ash colored wolf looking at me before I blacked out. Last thing I saw was ash color wolf in my sight.
