*one year later*

I came here for a run to clear my mind. As I stepped into the woods, I ran shifting into my silver wolf. Yes, my wolf is silver now. My wolf is huge same size of alpha wolves with mix of silver and white fur and ocean blue eyes. I have a hidden pentagon mark on my right leg which is invisible. It takes a lot observation to identify it. No one knows it except me and Taehyung. He told me keep it secret since we don't know what the purpose of it is. It appeared after my wolf changed in to silver.

I changed in to silver wolf after a week I woke up in pack house. Pack doctor ran lot of tests and finally came to conclusion. He told us I was injected with a venom which could kill normal wolves. Only higher and stronger wolves like alphas and royals will get through this. He said I might have alpha blood or my wolf must be stronger just like alphas. I don't know what is the case here but I survived. I started feeling weird after waking up from that dream.

I often woke up screaming in sleep because of the same dream. It was getting more scary as the time passes. Taehyung would always help me whenever I wake up screaming in dream. As I ran all the things were running in my mind. A lot has changed after Areum death. I went to Jiyong pack with Jimin and trained for six months there. Chayeon also joined us after three months.

We learned a lot of things and prepared few weapons with the help of Taeyang. Jiyong and Daesung used to help us in training. Others always tried to cheer us up every time we felt sad. They were also feeling bad that everything happened cause they asked for help. Taehyung never blamed anyone for what happened though. It's been almost a year Areum died. We have been training hard and now we are the strongest pack in the world. We didn't find the ones who killed Areum but we helped lot of packs in attacks.

We killed half of the Victor gang. But I will stop only when I kill all four of them who has killed Areum. Taehyung and others are recovering too. They don't blame me or anyone but I can't help feel guilty. We have been trying our best to make things normal but sometimes it gets hard when we need Areum help. She used to manage all the things in the pack when it comes to people so we always miss her. Taehyung lose control sometimes but he is trying hard to control his wolf and manage the pack at the same time. Sometimes I wonder whether he is the same guy who used to laugh and fool around others.

Now he is all serious and always in business mood. Sometimes I miss the old Taehyung but I never said that loud. I know how it feels to lose your mate and I don't want Taehyung to suffer through it alone. I tried my best to be there for him whenever I can.

Y/n, come to the pack house

I stopped running and shifted in to human form when I heard Taehyung voice through mind link. I took clothes from a tree hole and started my way to pack house after changing. We come often here to think so we put few clothes here in tree hole. I got dressed and went back to pack house. I directly went to his room knowing he will be there. He shifted his office to his room in the pack house and started living here after Areum death.

We changed pack house completely with more facilities. Few secret hideouts have been designed. Our new pack is of five floors. First floor has the large kitchen, dining room, Living room and sound proof meeting hall. Second floor has the office and our weapons room and few rooms like gym, music and training rooms. Third floor and fourth are for pack members. Each floor has thirty rooms with all the facilities. Fifth floor consists of my room along with Taehyung, Chayeon, Suga oppa and Jimin along with few others.

I wonder why Taehyung called me suddenly. "You came" I sat on the chair beside Taehyung and looked around. Suga oppa and Jimin sat in the front chairs while others sat behind them. Chorong, Jimin and Chayeon were in the room too. "I called you all cause I got some news on the rogues" he got all of our attention with that sentence.

"We got a call from a pack that they spotted few rogues in their pack border and they need our help" he told us how their alpha wants us to come and train them. He wants to prepare his pack just in case they get attacked. I was impressed by this alpha if you ask me. I mean he is not asking us to fight for them but they want to learn and defend themselves. Sometimes we get calls where they just want us to come and kill the rogues. Its like we are on some parol duty. "Then what are we waiting for. We should go" they all looked at me sadly which made me comfused. "What happened?" Taehyung sighed and took deep breath before saying. "It is shadow pack" It is my old pack. That means I have to go back and face him.

I sat there stunned. That's why alpha thought this. I always thought Namjoon will make a great leader one day. I can't face Namjoon now. What if he moved on or worse he got married and forgot about me? "Y/n, are you ok?" all of them were watching me carefully. "Yes, I am. Oppa" he still looked worried. I became closer to Suga oppa and Jimin after everything. He gets scared when he sees me hurt.

"Let's have the pack meeting in two hours. I need everyone to be there. I will wait for your decision before we inform the others" Taehyung said. They all left me with Taehyung. "I just can't face him Tae. I am afraid of my emotions. I can't let them get in my way of work" he pulled me on to his lap stroking my hair. I started crying at the thought of him and all the memories came back. "It will be ok" he said stroking my hair.

we have been so close after Areum death. I was so close to Areum and understood his pain better than others as I know how it feels. I helped him get through the depression. But it wasn't love. We are best friends always will be. Everyone thought it would be good as we both don't have mates but we can't. "You are not the same girl you were before y/n. You are the part of this pack. Whatever your decision is we will support you" he kissed my forehead.

I sat in the living room thinking about it. Tv was on but I wasn't looking at it. I have a lot on my mind which I need to decide before the meeting. Taehyung was right. I am not the same girl I am stronger and better. I can't let my personal life effect pack safety. We decided to make alliance with every pack and find rouges and kill them. It is a chance to find the rouges. I can't lose any chance. I have to take revenge for Areum's death, for my pack member's death. Namjoon can't affect me. These two and half years I spent without him taught me a lot. I learned hiding emotions. Taehyung is the only one who can see through me now. I don't care about my mate anymore. My main concern is to kill the rouges that are threat to my pack.

I thought about the pack then. These two years changed a lot in my life but I do miss my dad, Jin oppa and Minah. It won't hurt to visit them again. Let them see the new me.

"Have you decided?" I looked at Taehyung who sat beside me. I have half an hour before the meeting. "I will come with you guys. Let's go and do this" he looked at me for a while before nodding his head. "Fine then. I will inform others in the meeting" I snuggled in to his chest looked at the tv. "I will get some weapons too just in case we need them there" I have been working on making weapons with Suga oppa and Jimin. Mostly Yoongi oppa helps me in it but Jimin pipes in and add some things when required. He changed channels and put some movie on. "aww...look at these love birds" I looked up from Taehyung and saw Suga oppa and Chorong. She had a camera in her hand.

"What do you want Chorong" she took a picture grinning at us. "Don't mind me, just enjoy yourselves" she said making Taehyung and oppa laugh while I rolled my eyes. "I will enjoy" I placed my head on his chest again snuggling close to him making them laugh at me. Jimin and Chayeon joined them and started teasing us again. We got used to their teasing so it didn't bother us anymore.

"Call the meeting in few minutes. Let's announce it to everyone" Taehyung told Suga oppa and he looked at me for confirmation. I smiled assuring I am fine with it. "Ok" he got up and left to inform others. After they left Suga oppa left others pulled me in a hug "we will be there for you y/n. Don't worry" somehow it made me relax. We stayed there for a while before heading upstairs. I took a quick shower and dressed in blue summer frock which is up to my knees.

When I went to the meeting hall, everyone was already there. I waited for Taehyung outside. When they saw Taehyung enter, they stood up and bowed to him. Everyone in pack always supported and helped Taehyung to run it more effectively. I went up to Jimin and Chayeon stood facing everyone. "Hello everyone, today we have received a call from alpha of shadow pack asking for our help" they all growled at the mention of Shadow pack. Since they know about my past they developed a disliking towards the Shadow pack.

He raised my hand to stop them which did it. "I have decided to help them. Rouges have been attacking them. We made an oath to help the neighbor packs from the rouge attacks. I will be taking few members with me and some of you will stay here and protect our territory" he looked at me and I scanned the room for people I need. "Jason, Dylan, Suga oppa, Jimin, Chayeon and Andrew will be coming with me and Taehyung. You can bring your mates with you" Dylan is twenty years old and he has mate along with Suga oppa which will make us ten in total. "James you will take care of the patrolling. Make sure to guard the pack all the time. Mark, Paul, George and Steve will be with you for patrolling. If you have any problem inform to Charles" he nodded.

He turned to Chayeon father "you will be in charge of the pack along with Thomas. Eric and Stephen will help you too. Keep me updated" Thomas is Taehyung cousin and Andrew younger brother. He is nineteen years old though he is very good at dealing pack issues. "If anyone has problem with decision you can tell me now" we respect everyone in our pack and their opinions means matter to us. We always discuss the things with them and decide.

We didn't get any response which means they are all fine with it. "So, shall we proceed with our dinner?" we all eat together most of the time. Taehyung mother was serving food to pack members. "I will help you" she gave a huge smile "I am so proud of you honey. You took right decision" before I can say anything Chayeon came running our way. "y/n save me" she hid behind me.

I turned around to see fuming Jimin covered in the food. Everyone in the room laughed. "What happened to you?" I said amusement clear in my eyes. "She did this" he pointed accusing finger at Chayeon who was looking wide eyed as innocent. We all know she is not innocent. She is trouble maker in pack who likes to pull pranks on everyone mostly on Jimin. He ended up chasing her entire house for an hour before giving up. This became my life for the last few months. We all did and still doing our best to let the past go. I don't know what tomorrow will bring.
