Alright guys, last chapter I post for a while. For those who don't know, I'm leaving Wattpad for a while for mental health reasons. I plan on coming back in the future. I just want 2019 to be different than the hell that was 2018.

So I hope you all enjoy this chapter, and I'll see you guys later in the future. Bye!

"They what?!" Linda shouted. Noah explained what happened, and what they couldn't let go was that the general was hurt and never told them. But inside the wagon, Ian and Vega were ignoring them, focusing on cooling Sky's burns. Vega had Sky's right hand, inspecting the wounds on it. She smiled a bit seeing they were healing nicely.

"His hands should heal completely in a day or two. His leg is gonna take some time though." Vega said wrapping Sky's hand back in bandages. Ian looked at her, he was running cold water on Sky's leg, cooling the burn. Ian looked at it, his leg was dripping blood every so often, the back of Sky's shin and ankle were burnt to a crisp, his flesh showing and was once bleeding excessively is now only a little.

"You can fix his leg, right?" Ian asked worried about Sky. Vega nods.

"Yes, his leg will be fine. Just needs time is all. Wrap his leg back up." Vega said. Ian nods and puts the sponge in the bucket of water. He was gonna grab the bandages till Linda came into the wagon.

"Ian, I know you wanted to stay out of this, but you know you are the only person who knows Hazia. Unless Sky is ready to get moving—"

"No, he needs to recover still." Ian snapped. Linda put her hands up.

"Geez, back off will you? But Jordan got himself captured and they are taking him to Skaldia with the Prince. So now you are the only other person who has been to Hazia that can help us." Linda said. Ian looked at Sky.

"I gonna watch Sky though—"

"But what about the general and the Captain?" Noah asked from outside the wagon. Ian looked at Noah.

"I caused Sky to get hurt, I didn't cause the general or the Prince to get hurt," Ian said. Ian grabs the bandages, he starts wrapping them around Sky's leg. Linda looked at Sky.

"Hey, Sky, can you get Ian to stop being so protective of you for us?" Linda asked. Sky didn't answer, he was asleep. Linda looked at Ian. "Ian, he's fine. He's protected, he's safe. I'm not leaving the two alone; you, me and Noah are going. The rest are protecting Sky and Miss Vega. I know you feel bad about him getting hurt, but he's in good hands." Ian's eyes flickered up, looking at her.

"Why did the King want Sky and me so badly? Why?" Ian asked. Linda bit her bottom lip, staring at him, she shook her head.

"No, I can't tell you why because you wouldn't believe me even if I told you the truth because this is about Sky, this isn't about you. Jordan and I have an obligation to protect Sky and take him to Shivoa and nowhere in that obligation are you involved in any way, shape, or form. So we could drop you off anywhere and not have any repercussions because of it. Your parents were the important ones, I could care less about what happens to you." Linda snapped at him. Ian's hands balled into fists, his anger rising.

"And last time I checked, General Maron is in charge here, not you. He is--"

"Oh, so NOW you care about Jordan?! Now you will do what he says?!" Linda shouted. Ian nods.

"Yeah, I will because unlike you, he is a better leader!" Ian shouted. Sky pushed both of them apart, Vega holding Sky up, worried.

"S-Stop f-fighting." Sky stuttered. He winced, looking at his hands, groaning. Ian's eyes soften as he looked at Sky. Vega grabbed Sky's wrists, bloodstained both Linda and Ian where Sky pushed them.

"Don't do that again, you need to stop using your hands till they are healed, Sky," Vega said. Sky looked at Ian, ignoring Vega.

"I-I'll b-be fine here, I-Ian. G-Go save t-them...and F-Falicia." Sky said. Sky groaned, Vega put her arm across Sky's chest, gripping his shoulders.

"Calm down, your body can't handle the stress, you need to lay down and rest." She said as she gently pushed Sky on his back. "Linda, can you hand me that bag?" Linda gives her a brown bag, Vega takes it, opening it and grabbing herbs.

"Fine."

Linda looked at Ian. "I'll help you, I guess. But just know that I'm not very good at combat like you guys are." Ian said. Linda smiled a bit.

"You think I'm expecting you to fight? Skaldian soldiers are on a whole different level than any normal citizen or fresh recruits. The Skylen Royal Family members are born with an unnatural ability in combat and speed. It's the reason why the only person who could take out the Prince, the King and the Queen would be Jordan or Master Azdel or General Wolfe." Linda said. Ian looked away, nodding a bit.

"I-I didn't know that, remind me to never go to Skaldia," Ian mumbled. Linda and Ian leave the wagon, she looks at Noah.

"Let's go get our Captain and General." She said.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the fire, most of the buildings in the village of Hazia burn to the ground, but some still stood tall, most of them being stone buildings while the wooden ones bit the dust or the ash. But the village was swarm with Skaldian guards, most of them being in the center of the town while the rest were on the outskirts of the village. The center of the village stood a church, untouched by the fires but not untouched by vandalism. The windows were all broken, the furniture inside was taken out and burn, but inside the building were survivors and Prince Tyler and General Jordan.
Prince Tyler is tied up, one of the survivors letting the injured royal lean against him. The royal had rips in his clothing and blood staining him, a blow to his head causing dry blood to cover up some of his face and hair, he had an arrow lodged in his left shoulder and another in his left leg. But other then all of that, he's fine. He's unconscious making the survivors worry more as two of them were in charge of keeping him alive or they'll die with him.
Jordan is tied up to a small wooden lectern that is apparently built into the flooring. While he is worried for the Prince just as much as the survivors are, most of his attention was focused on getting his feeling back in his leg. Though it was a struggle for him at every movement he made sent an intense wave of pain making him bit his lip bottom to hold back his cries. And Mac...well...he's stationed right outside the church as he switched his Estron gear for the Skaldian gear before their capture.
"Prince, come on." A survivor said.
"It's no use, Falicia, he's out cold." Another said. Jordan stopped moving, he looked at the survivors.
"W-Wait, Falicia? Falicia Jarret?" Jordan questioned. A woman looked at Jordan, confused.
"Yeah? How do you know me?" She asked. Jordan looked away from her, moving his injured leg a bit.
"Ian won't shut up about you," Jordan said. She was still confused at first, but her eyes lit up.
"Ian? Wait, Ian's okay?! Is Sky okay?" She asked the other survivors looked hopeful.
"Sky's badly injured, Ian's fine," Jordan said. Falicia smiled.
"Of course Sky gets himself hurt, he always gets himself hurt somehow." She said smiling. Falicia looks at his leg. "Do you...Do you need help?" Jordan nods, finally giving up on fixing his leg himself.
"Yes." He mumbled. Falicia crawled over to him, she put her hands around his knee, she massaged the back of his knee.
"Where?" She asked.
"Down a bit," Jordan mumbled. She moved her hands down, it was a few seconds before his pain stopped and she bent his knee a bit.
"Better?" She asked him. Jordan nods.
"Thank you." He said. She gives him a little smile.
"No problem, we can't have you with a bad leg right now." She said. The doors flung open and Falicia instantly hurried over to the Prince.
"Why isn't that Prince awake yet?!" Someone yelled. One of the survivors look at them, it was Captain Adder, he's a high-ranking Captain in the Skaldian army, someone that Jordan's met a few times in meetings between Estron and Skaldian or during the Decade War. Adder stopped beside the survivors.
"We can only do so much for him, he fell off his horse and hit his head, he's lucky he's still alive." One survivor said that went in between the Prince and Adder. Since their capture, they've done everything they could to protect the Prince from the Skaldians, but they can only do so much when his health is declining.
"WAKE HIM UP!" Adder demanded. The survivor was gonna speak but Jordan cut them off.
"He's unconscious, Adder. They don't have magic, they can't make him wake up whenever they want when he has a head injury." Jordan said. Adder's jawline stiffens, he looked at Jordan.
"Did I ask for your input, General?" Adder asked. Jordan shrugs his shoulders.
"No, but you are going off on citizens for something that they can't control. Telling them that if they don't wake up the Prince it is their heads isn't possible. It takes days for someone to wake up from being shot off their horse and landed on their head." Jordan said. Adder turned towards Jordan more, Jordan looked at Ty. "You're lucky that fall didn't kill him."
"And you're lucky I can't kill you." Adder said. Jordan's eyes shifted to Adder.
"Ooohh, I'm so scared of someone who was nothing but a coward when they first met me," Jordan said. Adder walked to Jordan, pulling out his sword.
"I didn't say I couldn't torture you--"
"Physical torture doesn't work on me, so be my guest," Jordan said narrowing his eyes at Adder. Adder stopped, Jordan saw a flicker of doubt in his eyes making him smile. "It is so easy to make you Skaldians to crack and crumble with just a few words." An arrow struck the post beside Jordan's head cutting his cheek, making the survivors either gasp or yelp and making Jordan flinch and look at it. Adder looked over his shoulder, seeing Prince Anthony. Jordan looked at the Prince. "If you were going for my head, ya missed, your highness." Anthony smiled a bit.
"Adder, out of here. Prepped the wagons, we leave with them at dawn." The Prince ordered, lowering his bow down.
"Sir." Adder said before leaving. The prince walked over to Jordan, he grabbed the arrow, yanking it out of the post. Jordan's eyes looked at the Prince. While he knew how to make the Skaldian soldiers crack and crumble, the Prince was a different story entirely. He could never get a read on him, everything he tried never worked on him, it was like he could see pass deception, but he couldn't throw it himself. The prince put the arrow back in his quiver, he crouched down to Jordan's level.
"Who's Sky, General?" The Prince asked. Jordan looked at him.
"A Hazia resident, nothing else," Jordan said. The Prince smirks a bit, chuckling lightly.
"Really? Then why did you have him in the palace infirmary? There are infirmaries in the kingdom, why not take him there?" The Prince asked. Jordan stared at him.
"Alright, you obviously think you know something, so just spit it out and stop wasting both of our time." Jordan said. The Prince nods, standing up, he looked over at Ty for a second.
"Sky isn't an Estronian, isn't he?" The Prince asked. Jordan shakes his head.
"No, he is an orphan so--"
"Yeah sure, we found some interesting records in the Estron archives. And yes, that means King Nathan is dead, so is his bodyguard. But whatever." He started. Jordan struggled slightly, angry flashing in his eyes. The Prince looked down at him. "You found Sky in Elder Woods, abandoned with something...and what was that something that was with him?" Jordan stared at the floor, he glared at the Prince, not talking. Anthony crouched down again, he put a knife in the post again where the arrow struck making Jordan flinch. "Don't worry, General. I know all about your leg and how you hurt it during the Decade War, you took three months off to heal it but instead, you were looking for something, or rather someone and King Nathan let you. Who or what was it you were looking so desperately for?" Jordan's eyes narrow at him.
"What do you think I was looking for?" Jordan asked.
"Something having to do with the Maron bloodline." The Prince said. Jordan's eyebrow rose a bit.
"No, I wasn't. To be honest I could care less about stuff like that. And just so you know, you are asking me a lot of questions that I will never answer, if you want Sky so badly, then why don't you get him yourself and ask him yourself?! He's just as clueless as to who he really is as you are." Jordan snapped. The Prince stared at him, he put his hand under his chin, thinking.
"So he must be very important to Estron...good to know." The Prince said before he smiled. He looked at Jordan, noticing not a change in his expression at all. He loses his smile. "You know, you're no fun to imitate, it just ricochets off you."
"That's because you aren't imitating. I've seen mages more imitating than you." Jordan said. The Prince smiled again.
"Speaking of mages, did you hear the Master Azdel's trial was yesterday but he never showed up? He's not doing something for Estron again is he?" The Prince asked. Jordan shrugs his shoulders.
"I've learned overtime that Master Azdel tends to do whatever the hell he wants. And if you are looking for him, ask Brice Solace, he usually knows where Master Azdel is." Jordan said. Anthony loses his smiled, sighing.
"But Brice is with Master Azdel most of the time." The Prince said. Jordan nods, agreeing with him.
"Yeah, you're not wrong there," Jordan said. The Prince looks at Jordan, staring at him for a few moments.
"I know what you're doing." The Prince said. Jordan tilted his head a bit, confused.
"Doing what?"
"You're stalling." He said. Jordan's smiled a bit.
"Stalling for what? As much as I hate to admit this, you have this village pretty well fortified, I'm kinda impressed actually...but irritated at the same time. Any attempt to break into this village through your lines of defense would be pointless." Jordan said. The Prince nods a bit, he stood up.
"And it's that pointlessness and challenge that makes you go for it anyway just to see what happens." The Prince said. Jordan nods, smiling.
"Totally, but even I know that without the right size army, I would lose." Jordan said.
"You're stalling again!" The Prince said. Jordan loses his smile, looking confused again.
"Stalling for what, Prince?" Jordan asked confused. The Prince rolled his eyes at Jordan, walking away from him. Jordan watches him leave.
"Were you stalling?" Falicia asked. Jordan nods.
"Yeah, I was. How is Prince Ty?" Jordan asked.
"Not good, he needs a doctor," Falicia said before she looks back at him, she touched his shoulder, looking at it.
"How about we pulled the arrows out--" Falicia moved their hands away from the Prince's shoulder.
"Do not touch it, you pull that arrow out and he'll bleed out. The arrows stay in till we can get him to a doctor." Falicia said. Ty's fingers moved, his face scrunching up for a second, he groaned, feeling nauseous and tired, really tired. Falicia touched his arm. "Prince Tyler?" Jordan looked at them.
"Is he awake?" Jordan asked. Falicia's fingers touched the royal's cheek for a moment, she bit her bottom lip back. She wanted him to lay down, but the way they tied him up would make laying down worse for him, which is why a survivor is letting the royal lean against them.
"Shhhhh, you're okay," Falicia said touching his arms when they moved, his eyes stayed shut. "Shh, rest. Rest, you need it. You'll be okay." Ty didn't move anymore, but they kept an eye, Falicia looks at Jordan. "He needs a doctor, General. I-I'm just a novice at medicine, I don't have the supplies or the—"
"Falicia, calm down," Jordan said. His eyes looked at the Prince. "Just keep him alive, that's your only job right now." Falicia nodded, she looked at the Prince. The doors open, Jordan saw Mac enter, he looked at him.
"I saw Linda, Ian, and Noah." Mac whispered to him. Jordan shook his head.
"No, no, they can't come and get us. Tell them to rescue us while on the way to Skaldia." Jordan whispered back. Mac nodded, he walked out.
"Prince," Falicia said worriedly. Ty's skin was pale, his breathing shallow and his eyes still closed. Jordan looked at her.
"Is he even gonna make it to Skaldia?" He asked. Falicia's thumb gently rubbed his cheek, worry laced in her eyes.
"I-I don't know."
