"And you must be my new roommate. Pacchie, isn't it? The new Analentine. Heard you caused quite the chaos--Elya got so angry she nearly busted a junior's head, but all's good," the girl said all in one breath.

She was absolutely breath-taking. Her snow-white hair that reached her waist was literally sparkling--or that might be Pacchie's eyes playing against her.

She's got creamy skin that was pretty light. Her body looked like a model's, but not too thin that her bones really show. One of the things you might never see on earth was her iridescent eyes.

"Hello," Pacchie said slowly and quietly. She suddenly got reminded of how this world was so different with her own.

The girl smiled. "I'm sorry. I usually talk a little bit too much. That's why people never want to be friends with me. It's kind of sad really." Then, she frowned a little.

Wow, emotional much?

Pacchie smiled, though. "Mind telling me your name?"

The girl's face suddenly represented surprise. "Oh, right! How could I forget to tell the more important details? I'm Tiara, I love cooking, and I only have one friend in this whole school.

"Considering you just got here in the middle of a school-year, you must be taking today off. Either way, you should totally join The Dinner tonight."

Pacchie raised an eyebrow. What now? A grand dinner with dragon meat as the meal? "Dinner?"

Tiara stared at her as if she's grown three heads. "Are you like, from another planet or something?" she asked in confusion.

"Well, I--"

"Everyone knows about The Dinner!" she exclaimed.

So that wasn't a literal question...

"Its full name is The Marvelous Grand Dinner but we just call it The Dinner because... well, it's shorter." She gave a little shrug. "Anyways, everyone gathers in this laaaaarge room and... well, eat."

'Well' seems to be her favourite word.

"I heard the girls talking earlier that we're holding it in the swimming pool. Isn't that great? They usually play the beach ball thingy. Too bad I can only watch the fun from afar, considering that none of the popular girls want to be my friend. I'm happy having Leia as my friend."

Pacchie rarely met a depressed yet talkative girl teenager before. Usually, depressed people were quiet while talkative people were happy.

"You should totally meet Leia! She's kind of mysterious, but she's really cool. She's a mind reader, so try not to think about the stuff you'd like to keep as a secret," Tiara warned lightly.

"I would love to go, Tia--can I call you Tia? I will anyways," Pacchie started. "However, I haven't eaten in God knows how long and if I eat that much--and I know I'll eat that much because I'm just greedy that way--I'll vomit. Also, I look like dirt and I haven't taken a shower in ages! Plus, I haven't got a swimsuit or whatever it is you guys wear to swimming parties; the only clothes I have are the ones glued to my skin right now!"

Yes, people. Embrace your talkative side.

Tiara nodded thoughtfully before smiling. "Alright then, let's go take you a shower!" She held my hand tightly and pulled me to God-knows-where.

I thank whichever God that put me here for this warm water, sweet-scented shampoo, and magical toothpaste that made me smell as if I didn't just wake up in a desert this morning with sand in my mouth.

"Are you done?"

"Coming right out!"

Pacchie dried her red hair with this thing she didn't know the name of. It was some kind of magical hair-dryer. After drying her body one more time with the towel, she stepped out with the towel still around her.

You see, apparently, each room of the dormitory had their own bathroom. And to think Pacchie thought the school was small. She guessed they just made it packed very tightly to save space.

If only earth had this kind of stuff. There would be more space for trees and that would help reduce global-warming.

"Wow, you have a nice body," Tiara complimented, making Pacchie blush. She never paid attention to her body like--at all. She ate what she wanted, had a lot of lazy days, and barely ever exercised. "That makes it easier to find a great swimsuit."

The white-haired girl opened her wardrobe and Pacchie peaked inside to realize it wasn't a usual wardrobe--it was a giant walk-in wardrobe! She gaped.

Tia chuckled at the other girl's expression. "Relax. I've always been interested in fashion so the headmaster agreed to let me experiment with my magic and made this room. Fashion is my world, but it isn't important at all in this world of power, I guess." She sighed.

Again with the emotionality.

Pacchie chuckled as she looked through the sparkly gowns. "I don't know how that is possible. In earth, fashion is like, one of the most important things. Money, too."

"Money?" Tia addressed with confusion. "What is that? And what, or where, is earth? Is that the town you came from or something? I wouldn't be surprised if it existed. I never pay attention in those silly map lessons anyways."

Pacchie glanced at her to see her already looking back. "I... think I'll tell you about it later."

Nodding slowly, Tiara replied with an awkward smile, "Oh, alright, I get it."

Awkward silence.

"Let's go back to picking me a swimsuit, shall we?" Pacchie gave a forced grin. Tia nodded, smiling a little.

As they roamed around the room and tried to find the perfect swimsuit, Pacchie felt a bit odd--a bit dizzy, if you may. The world was suddenly spinning, before it stopped all of a sudden.

"Ehehe," Tia chuckled from the other side of the room. "I apologize for that... inconvenience. The room sometimes does that, though it's partly my fault. I'll explain later. We should quickly find a swimsuit."

Pacchie turned around, sitting on the cupboard below the clothes, holding her head. "Yeah, yeah."

After they found a good enough swimsuit and ate some stuff, they finally went to The Dinner. Pacchie was surprised to see the place already decorated with golden stuff and all that. A mermaid and a merman were carved so perfectly on the wall... they were kissing.

"Where's that mind-reader friend of yours?" Pacchie asked, looking around in wonder. It was similar to pools in hotels, but gave off a different aura. She wondered why.

Humming, Tia looked around curiously. It was very crowded in there, making it hard to find the girl. "Let's look around!" she decided before sasha-ing across the room.

Pacchie gaped. How was she supposed to find this mind-reader when she never even saw her? Geez, she's so irresponsible.

"I quite agree with you," an unknown person suddenly stated right behind her ear, causing her to shriek and jump a little before quickly turning around. "Oh, sorry," the person apologized with a light chuckle. "I forgot you don't have eyes behind your head. I'm Leia."

Pacchie nodded, accepting the handshake after recovering from her fright. "Uh, should we call her back?" she asked, referring to Tiara.

Leia shook her head no and chuckled. "Let her have her fun. Actually, I was hoping to talk to you," she announced, making Pacchie raise her eyebrow once more.

Whoa, I suddenly got popular.

"I read your mind and all, but it doesn't make sense to me. You came from a place... called... earth? Yeah, I think it's called earth. How?" Leia asked with a thoughtful expression, probably expecting Pacchie to know. She was looking towards the ceiling, wondering.

The girl being questioned just shrugged. If she knew how she got here, she wouldn't be so confused. At least now she knew that she was really from earth and earth wasn't just made up by her imagination.

Leia sighed. "I'll try looking into it because I'm sure you want to go back there. Either way, if anyone put you here, they must've had a purpose. I also know that you are a real Analentine."

I'm not even sure what Analentines are, Pacchie thought.

"But one thing you should totally know, Alven Chanza school is a magical school and it seems as if you don't know what your power is, yet." Leia crossed her arms. "You should figure that out before tomorrow or, well, you'll get into trouble."

So, the name is Alven Chanza? Not Alven Tower?

"Yeah, the school name is Alven Chanza. Alven Tower is the building around it. You know, the building you entered before you got your hand scanned?" Leia clarified. Pacchie nodded, feeling creeped out because her mind just got read.

After that, Leia kind of... disappeared? Pacchie didn't exactly see her go, but after she blinked, the mysterious girl was gone.

"At least she said she'll help me figure things out. Hopefully, I can go back to earth after this," Pacchie muttered before walking around to find Tiara.

Let's just say, she didn't have any luck finding out what her 'power' was. Good luck to her for tomorrow.
