The next day, in the aftermath of Christy's dark-side; Dark Enchantress, Christy sits alone at a table with her mug of caramel latte.

Ana walks up to her and sits down across her at the table with her mug of macchiato. "Hey, Christy."

"Hey, Ana." Christy greeted her best friend. "I'm so sorry."

Ana looks at Christy, knowing why she's apologizing. "Christy? It wasn't you, okay. I mean, yeah, it was you. But you didn't know what you were doing. So, if I forgave you, I'm pretty sure everyone did."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure." Christy said, taking a swig of her mug of caramel latte.

"It's gonna be okay, Christy." Ana said with a reassuring small smile, and takes a swig of her macchiato.

Christy small smiles back at Ana. And the two enjoys their caffeinated drinks.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Later on that day, Christy slowly walks inside the courtyard and looks around for her husband.

"Klaus?" Christy said, looking around at the courtyard itself. "Honey? Klaus?"

"I'm here." Klaus said, from the second floor balcony railing. "What is it?"

Christy looks up at her husband. "Nothing much. I just wanted to check on you."

"I should be checking on you." Klaus said, gently walking down the stairs and slowly walks up to her. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Christy reassured him with a small smile. "But I'm so sorry about everything."

"There's no need to apologize, Love. Each of us Mikaelson's has had our fair share of darkness." Klaus said to her.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

"You did say we'll have beignets." Klaus mentioned.

Klaus and Christy exchange another small smiles at each other.

Shortly after...

Klaus and Christy are sitting at table with a platter of beignets.

"Persephone knows where Aurora is, she's just frightened because she knows that either you or me will kill her again." Christy said, nibbling on her beignet.

"Aurora doesn't mean anything to me anymore. She seeks revenge. She loathes us both." Klaus said.

"Persephone has a romantic thing for you." Christy said to him.

"I know." Klaus said. "And by the way, Rebekah is having a party before you leave for Mount Orasani again."

"Rebekah loves parties." Christy said with a small smile.

Klaus and Christy exchange chuckles with each other.

"At least, you can wear your formal dress. The one I had made for you." Klaus said.

"You mean my formal pastel dress that reminds you of my halter lounge dress?" Christy said to him.

"Yeah, that's the one." Klaus said with a small smile.

Christy small smiles at him. And Klaus small smiles back at her.

"Well, I'm glad you're doing okay. I would've thought you would remained here in the compound cooped up." Klaus said to her.

"Yeah, and to be honest, it did come to mind. But I'm not gonna do that. I'm gonna keep moving forward with my life." Christy said to Klaus.

Klaus nodded in understanding. "Understandable.

"Klaus, I know that you're a complicated man to open up. When Elijah and I became friends, I asked him about you." Christy said to him.

"You did?" Klaus asked.

"Yeah. Elijah knows you better, and so, I had to get to know you. Psychologically. Elijah didn't tell me everything about you because I wanted to know you for myself." Christy said. "I pitied you."

"I remember after the Marcel's masquerade gala, I was playing the piano when you came to visit after getting a second chance at our relationship." Klaus said to her.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

FlashBack

After Marcel's masquerade gala party, at the Mikaelson Mansion, Klaus is sitting at the piano, still dressed up in his formal suit, playing the piano while also drinking a bottle of bourbon.

Christy slowly walks inside the piano room, still dressed up in her lavender masquerade dress.

"Klaus?" Christy said.

Klaus glances up at her as he resumes playing the piano. "It's late, Christy. What are you doing here?"

"Elijah told me about you. Well, not all of it. He just told me what kind of man that you are." Christy told him, gently leaning sideways on the on the double door frame.

"Trust me. You don't want to know about me, Love." Klaus told her.

Christy slowly walks up to him and gently leans backwards on the piano. "Klaus? You didn't deserve what happened to you."

Klaus stopped playing the piano and looks up at her. "Is that why you've come? To pity me?"

"No." Christy told him. "But I want to get to know you."

"There's nothing to know about me, Christy." Klaus said, getting up from the piano and slowly walks away from her, taking a swig of his bottle of bourbon.

"Why is it so difficult for you to open up to anyone?" Christy asked him.

"Christy? I appreciate that you and I have gotten another chance of amending our relationship, but please, leave me alone." Klaus told Christy.

"No, I'm not gonna leave you alone, Klaus. Because, in your messed up mind, you think it's okay to be alone." Christy said.

"Oh, please, I don't need to be psychoanalyze by you." Klaus told Christy, annoyed.

Klaus and Christy exchange mildly looks at each other. And Klaus figure it out.

"You want to get to know me because you're interested me." Klaus said, and slowly walks up to Christy. "What is it about me that makes you so intrigued?"

"You're a complicated man, Klaus. It's gonna be interesting getting to know you." Christy said to him.

Klaus and Christy exchange mildly looks at each other. And he small smiles at her.

"But perhaps, getting to know you as well will be interesting." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. She pecks a kiss on his cheek.

"Goodnight, Klaus. I'll see you around." Christy said, and walks away.

And Klaus small smiles to himself.

Reality

Klaus and Christy are sitting on the sofa beside each other.

"You were such an asshole." Christy said.

Klaus chuckles softly to himself. "I know I was. But you just wanted to get to know me and my typical behavior gotten the better of me."

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

"But we have to find where Aurora is before Persephone asks her to comes for us eventually." Christy said to him.

"Persephone knows where Aurora is but she won't reveal her location." Klaus said.

"Then, somehow, we get Persephone to tell." Christy said.
