DAY THREE OF BATTLE OF SHANGQUI.

The next day, Klaus gently walks down the stairs and into the courtyard and sees Luna and Trinity sitting in the sofa chairs, drawing in their sketchbooks.

"Luna? Trinity? Did your mother already leave?" Klaus asked them.

"Yeah. She was pretty upset about something. She took an Uber to the warehouse dock." Luna told her Dad.

"You and Mom got into an argument, didn't you, Dad?" Trinity asked.

"Yeah, we did." Klaus told his youngest daughter. "I did something to hurt your mother, and I don't know if she's gonna be able to forgive me. She resents me."

"I'm sure that you and Mom will reconcile when she gets back home from the battle with the ShangQui." Trinity reassured her Dad with a small smile.

"I hope so, too." Klaus said. And looks at Christy's fleurs-de-lis necklace around Trinity's neck. "You're safekeeping your mother's necklace."

"Yeah. Until she gets back." Trinity said.

Klaus small smiles to himself and becomes worried as he remembers the last conversation he and Christy had before she left.

Last night, after stabbing Elijah with the Papa Tunde's Blade, Christy is slowly wandering around in the French Quarter.

"Christy?" Klaus said to her.

"I have nothing to say to you, Niklaus." Christy told her husband.

And Klaus vamp-speed in front of her. "I never meant to hurt you."

"Oh, really? Because you did, Niklaus." Christy told him, angrily. "We had a strong bond. A strong connection. And you broke it."

Klaus and Christy exchange glum looks at each other.

"And now, I don't know if I'm gonna forgive you." Christy said to him. "I've been burned before whenever it comes to an old resurrected former girlfriend. Genevieve, Aurora, and now, Amaranth. As of right now, you lost my trust and any points that you try to make amends."

"Christy? I'm sorry." Klaus apologized with tears in his eyes.

"I know you are." Christy said, and walks away from him.

Reality

Klaus is sitting in the sofa chair, spaced out.

"Dad?" Luna said.

Klaus looks at Luna. "I'm okay. I just miss your mother and our last conversation before she left."

"Mom was really upset with you." Trinity said to her Dad.

"Mom will calm down, eventually, and the two will reconcile." Luna said.

Klaus, Luna and Trinity exchange small smiles at each other.

WAREHOUSE DOCK

Later on that day, the riverboat had arrived at the dock with The Orasanian Warriors already boarded.

The Uber drops off Christy at the dock and she gently closes the backseat car door with her duffle bag.

Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy exchange looks at each other with their duffle bags.

"Hey, Christy." Thalia greeted her with a small smile.

"Hey, Thal." Christy greeted her back with a small smile.

Max looks at Klaus as he gently pulls up in his SUV. "Christy? Your husband's here."

Christy scoffs, annoyed. "Let's get the hell out of here, you guys.

Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy walks away.

"Christy?" Klaus called out to his wife. "Christiana?"

Christy stopped walking and turns her face to him. "Go back home, Niklaus."

"You're not gonna say "Goodbye" this time?" Klaus asked her.

Christy turns around to look at Klaus with a straight face. "I already did to our daughters. You, however, you're nothing to me."

"I understand how angry you are with me, and I deserve it." Klaus said, slowly walks up to her. "But please, Christy, you can't fight your enemies if you're upset."

"Yeah, I can. I'm gonna use my anger to defeat the ShangQui Warriors." Christy said to him. "So, I'll see you when I get back home."

Klaus and Christy exchange slight tense looks at each other and she walks away from him. She walks onto the riverboat just as it drives away from the dock.

And Klaus walks back to his SUV, getting inside and drives away.

OUTSKIRTS OF CITY OF SHANGQUI

That afternoon, Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy, along with 1,000 The Orasanian Warriors are battling 1,000 ShangQui Warriors.

And The Orasanian Warriors had won, defeating The ShangQui Warriors.

With a few bruises and scrape wounds, Christy is attending to the other Orasanian men and women warriors.

"Gather what strength you have left. The dock is a few miles away from here. We're gonna be walking sooner." Christy said.

The Orasanian Warriors nodded in understanding as they prepare themselves for a walk.

Zenith, Thalia and Thalia joins Christy. The four them of exchange looks at each other.

"You really stabbed those ShangQui Warriors, Christy?" Thalia pointed out. "I assume that you and Klaus had an intense argument."

"Yeah, we did. But I don't want to talk about it." Christy said.

"Hagarth is keeping an eye on the riverboat for us." Max said.

"Yeah, Hagarth. My big buddy." Christy said with a small smile.

"Alright, everyone, let's head back to the riverboat." Zenith said.

Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy, along with 1,000 The Orasanian Warriors are walking back to the dock with their bronze swords and shields.

"I can't wait to hold Gia and our precious baby girl again." Max said, mentioning his wife and baby daughter, Marion.

Christy chuckles to herself. "Yeah, me too. Kiss her little cheeks. Luna and Trinity are eager to see me again."

"Yeah." Max said.

Max and Christy exchange chuckles with each other.

"And I didn't want to say anything about it, but Zenith, Thalia and myself noticed how you sword fought with the ShangQui Warriors. You and Klaus are having some marital tension." Max mentioned.

"Yeah." Christy said to him. "I know Klaus has done some messed up shit throughout his immortal life, but screwed up again. He's dead to me."

"You say that your husband's dead to you and you're pissed at him. Whatever Klaus has done, I'm sure that he regrets it."

"Klaus never regrets anything, Max. He does what he wants and he thinks he's getting away with it. But he won't." Christy said.

Max and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Klaus loves you unconditionally, Christiana." Max said.

"I know he does." Christy said.

RIVERBOAT MAIN DECK

That evening, everyone is sitting around, eating fruit, square biscuits, melon bread and drinking water.

Christy is sitting on the main deck cushion, looking out at the river, eating a on a plum fruit.

Christy checks her phone, which has a voicemail from Klaus. So, she decides to listen to it.

Klaus (voicemail) Christy? I know you're upset with me and I don't blame you. You were right, secrets tend to destroy relationships. I shouldn't have lied to you and I should've told you about Amaranth, but I was so worried about how you were going to react, and I lost you anyway. Luna and Trinity knows that you and I had an argument. They miss you. And so did I. I still love you, despite you loathing me. And I also know that you're probably scheming revenge on me, and I deserve whatever revenge comes from you. So, I'll see you when you come back home. I love you.

After listening to her husband's, Klaus's, voicemail, Christy hangs up her phone.

NEW ORLEANS / DOCKS

That night, the riverboat arrived at the dock. Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy walks off the riverboat with their duffle bags.

"I gotta get home." Max said.

"We'll take you home, Maximus." Zenith said to him.

"Okay then." Max said. And looks at Christy. "Christy? Will be alright?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine." Christy said.

"We'll take you home too, Christiana." Zenith said to her.

"Okay." Christy said.

Later on that night, after dropping off Max at the penthouse, Christy says goodbye to both Zenith and Thalia as she slowly walks inside the entrance and into the courtyard.

Klaus slowly walks out of the ballroom. He and Christy exchange looks at each other. The moment of quietness is between the husband and wife.

"How did it go?" Klaus asked.

"The Orasanians won." Christy told him. "It's just a few bruises and scrape wounds. I'll be fine."

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Christy?" Klaus said.

"Klaus? It's been a long day. And I'm gonna get some sleep." Christy said, walking away from him, and walks up the stairs.

"Did you at least receive my voicemail?" Klaus asked.

Christy stopped walking as she turns around to look at her husband again. "What do you want me to say to you? You lied to me and then, you slept with Amaranth."

"Under the influence of her magical powers." Klaus told her.

"I don't care, you still did it." Christy told him, and slowly walks up to him. "But do keep in mind, Niklaus, I'm not gonna let you get away with it."

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other and she walks back up the stairs and walks away.

And Klaus becomes worried as to what Christy has up her sleeves.
