"Hey penny! What you doing tonight?. Mums going to Cain's tonight" Noah asked as he caught up to me as I wandered through the village, I took a detour to the spender household so it was taking me abit longer than it really should have to get their.

"I don't think my dad would be happy me coming over when theirs no adults home, as much as I would love to spend the night with my best friend you know what my dad is like" I sighed and Noah nodded, he knew how protective dad was of me.

"Your dad is so protective of you" Noah nodded

"I know, it's annoying sometimes but he's only protective because he cares" I shrugged simply before I came up with a idea.

"I have a idea, two weeks time, dad is going away for the weekend with Tracy" I smiled thinking for a moment,

"I we could throw a party Friday night and spend the weekend together?" I suggested with a grin on my face.

"But we don't tell my dad otherwise he'll make sure to stop it and make sure you don't tell your mum, Debbie or Chas, because we are inviting Lucy, Eden and Claudia and if any of our parents find out then this party will be a no" I said to my best friend as he walks beside me.

"A party sounds great, we can talk about it at school Monday" Noah smiled and I nodded in agreement.

"Right I best get off, Lucy and I have homework to get done for drama and it's going to take some time" I sighed

"Have fun" Noah laughed giving me a quick hug before watching me head up the path to the door of the Spencer household. I shot Noah a small smile before knocking on the door

"Come on in, Lucy is in her room" Kerry said answering the door once I had knocked.

"Thanks Kerry" I smiled, I headed up the stairs and knocked on Lucy's door

"Come in" I heard Lucy's voice and I opened the door and walked in.

"It's moi, your life just got a million times better" i grinned as I enter my best friends room as if I was just appearing on stage, Lucy and I both broke into a fit of laughter.

"You an idiot" Lucy laughed

"I know" I laughed happily

"Right we better get on with this homework," I said once the pair of us had composed ourselves.

"Yeah, we don't want to fail. Mr. Jordan is choosing two pairs to preform for the talent evening before summer!" Exclaimed Lucy and I nodded, I already had two parts in the talent evening with my dance group from after school one of the dances was a solo about a girl who looses her mother at a young age and the whole group which is about a girl who has cancer and her friends and family love her and in the end she dies; our teacher gave me the main part so if Lucy and I get this for drama I'll have a busy night.

"We have to prove ourselves. But I am worried that if we get chosen I'll mess something up as I've got two dances on the night" I admitted to my best friend who rolled her eyes.

"You Penelope Sapphire Metcalfe don't have to worry, you remember dance routines more than anything, you are incredible and Talented. Trust me Nellie" Lucy smiled to me while we just looked at our school work.

"Thank you Lu! You really know what to say when im not feeling to great" I smiled over to my best friend.

"I am great aren't I" lucy laughed.

"So shall we get on with our work?" I asked knowing we best get on with our school work

'Two girls find out they were separated at birth one was brought up with a rich family, one in care,

The girl in care will be called Julia
The girl with rich family will be called Carla

They both contact each other and Carla takes Julia home but they both witness something horrible and it's going to be cute and caring to start with a monologue from both characters'

Both Lucy and I write down the plan for the homework, it was a start,

"Who would you prefer to be?" I asked Lucy once I had finished writing our little plan.

"I don't mind, I'll be Julia or Carla" lucy smiled and I nodded.

"I'll be Julia, you can be Carla" I smiled to my best friend who nodded so we wrote down who was playing who

Me - Julia

"So next we have to write the monologues for both our characters they have just both found out they have a twin sister and are in shock"  lucy said and I pulled my thinking face while nodded.

"Your thinking face it too funny" Lucy laughed throwing her head back while she did so

"How rude, my thinking face is completely normal" I grinned trying to think of the start of one of the monologues.

"Oh it really is not normal" Lucy said. The two of us continued to work on the homework and laughed about random stuff but it was fun way more than doing homework should be.

"What do you say we go to the cafe, I don't have to be home by 5, we're having a family meal" i said simply to my best friend

"Well we've done our homework so sure." Lucy smiled. We packed our homework away, well lucy did and I just left mine ontop of her book, if I forget to come back to pick it up I can always come round tomorrow, tomorrow was Saturday and Lucy, Eden, Claudia, Gabby and Liv were going to be hanging out at the pavilion or going into town, I wasn't too sure what we were doing at the moment, I had to check the group chat what we have the six of us are called 'The Village Girls' since we we are all girls and theirs six of us and we all live in emmerdale village

"We're heading into town tomorrow" Lucy read the group chat message just as I was thinking of what we were doing tomorrow.

"It's like you were reading my mind. I was just wondering the plan for tomorrow" I laughed while Lucy and I made our way downstairs.

"Kerry, I'm just going out with Nellie' I'll be back in a hour or so" Lucy said to her step mother, Amelia was probably out with Sarah who only got back from Prague with Faith Dingle, Faith is Sarah's great grandmother if I'm correct because she is Cains Mother which would make her Debbie's grandmother so yeah definitely great grandmother.

"Okay, if you see Amelia tell her to be home by half 5 the latest!" Kerry tells Lucy who nodded. I opened the door and headed out.

"Now Kerry won't be able to hear us I've got something to say" I said to Lucy as the two of us make our way across the village to the cafe

"What is it? Your not pregnant are you" Lucy smirked, she knew I was still a virgin and trying to figure things out

"Oh hell no! I'm definitely not pregnant. I could just imagine my dad if I was" I paused as I shuddered at the thought of my dad finding out I was pregnant, I was so glad I wasn't because dad would be so angry.

"Good.. good. So what is it?" Lucy said

"Noah and I are having a party, Friday dad goes away. Jacob is going to a friends house and dad is trusting me to be home alone, Victoria is going to be checking on my on Saturday and Sunday and Grandpa would probably phone to check in but I thought what the adults don't know won't do any harm" I shrugged and Lucy rolled her eyes.

"I'm in. But only because I don't let you do stupid things alone" Lucy laughed which made smile.

"That's because you are the best friend I could ever ask for" I smiled slinging my arm around her shoulder as we finished making our way to the cafe...

The party was slowly coming together nicely and I couldn't wait to be trusted home alone for a whole weekend, probably a bad idea on dads side but what he doesn't know won't harm him.. right?
