"What? Why not? You seemed excited when I asked you." Myunghee asked but Jimin looked away.

"I have to go, Myunghee."

"Jimin, what happened? Did I do something wrong?" She touched his arm when he tries to leave. "Please, tell me. You are the only one here who I wouldn't mind being friends with."

"Oh really? What about Taehyung?" Jimin looked down.

"Taehyung?"

"Yes, Taehyung. I was tired of being alone, so I went look for you and on my way to the library, you were talking to Taehyung and you both seemed really happy."

"Happy? Jimin, that's not what happened. He was just talking shit and trying to ask me out."

"And are you going out with him?"

Myunghee giggled at Jimin's adorable face. "Why are you so interested?"

"B-Because y-you're a nice person and I don't want to see you getting h-hurt. T-That's all." Jimin stuttered and Myunghee kissed his cheek. He tries to stay as calm as possible, he tries to ignore the fact that Myunghee, a girl he finds extremely beautiful and attractive, kissed his cheek like no one other girl did before. "W-What was that?" He stuttered again and after being kissed, he touches his cheek lightly, his heart is fluttering, his stomach is filled with butterflies. He was not the type to show it on the outside, but on the inside, he was happy, surprised and ecstatic.

"God, you're so adorable, Jimin." She touched his nose.

Jimin cleared his throat and tried to make a serious face, ignoring the fact that his heart was beating out of his chest. "I'm serious Myunghee."

"I'll answer your question when we go on our date." She winked and Jimin bit his lip.

"Fine. When do you want to go out?"

"Wait, are you serious? This was easy!" She squealed. "Today."

"Today?"

"Yes, now."

"Where are you taking me?" Jimin said with a suspicious look on his face.

"You'll see." She smiled. "Let's go!" She pulled Jimin's arm and they ran towards the school entrance.

"Jimin, do you like animals?"

"Of course I do! I love animals!" Jimin smiled cutely, with his eyes almost closed.

"Good. I'm sure you'll love this place then." She said. "Close your eyes." He looked at her as if he was scared. "Come on, close your eyes!"

"Where are you taking me? I don't want to open my eyes and be surrounded by gorillas, I like animals, but gorillas are a little bit scary." Jimin said and Myunghee started laughing and punched his arm playfully.

"Put on these headphones." Myunghee gave Jimin the headphones she always used when she was listening to music by herself. He did as he was told to and giggles after that, imagining how he looked like with headphones on. "Jimin, Jimin, Jimin!" She screams to see if he's hearing or not.

Myunghee held Jimin's hand to lead the way. She obviously didn't want him to fall on his face.

Together, they finally arrived at the mysterious place.

Myunghee touched Jimin's shoulder, warning him it was time to open his eyes. As soon as he opened them, he started laughing like a little kid.

"Myunghee! This was the best surprise ever, I'm so happy, I love dogs!"

"This is not a normal date as you can see. I came here a few years ago as a volunteer and I absolutely loved being here. These dogs need love, lots of love and I was and still am ready to give them all of the love they need. You seemed like the type of guy that would enjoy coming here as well, so I thought it would be a great idea and an amazing first date," She giggled. "As friends, of course."

"And you were right! Thank you, I can't believe I didn't know about this. I live here and I never knew something like this existed. I always thought kennels were awful places where animals are always sad, but they look so happy, it warms my heart."

"They are adorable. And they are just waiting to be adopted." She smiled. "Here, you should probably wear this." Myunghee handed him a t-shirt. "They're cute and everyone treats them very well but they're too many and it's impossible to have all of them one hundred percent clean and smelling good. That would only be possible if they had a lot more volunteers."

"Oh, thank you! What if we start coming here together every week?"

"Is that your way of asking me out?" She smirked and winked.

"N-No, it's just... It's just to help them, you know." He sttutered and scratched the back of his neck.

"I'm just messing with you, Jiminie." She chuckled and Jimin smiled at the nickname.

Jiminie. Jimin loved it, he felt special and he felt even closer to the girl.

"A-Anyway," he cleared his throat. "Can we play with them?" He asked excitedly.

"Of course!"

"Look at that one, it's so cute and he's looking at me! Ah, my heart's melting, look at those eyes!" Jimin said while approaching one of the dogs and Myunghee started laughing at his cuteness.

The dog is not the only one melting my heart right now.

After the amazing afternoon they spent together, Jimin offered to take Myunghee home.

"Did you have fun?" Myunghee asked when they reached her house.

"Yes, I had lots of fun. You had an amazing idea." Jimin smiled. "Thank you. It was the best date I've ever been on. Well, it was the only one." He giggled.

"Let's call it the first of many dates to come." She said, full of excitement. "Thank you for this wonderful date." Jimin kissed her cheek and she blushed, smiling shyly at the gesture. "See you tomorrow, Jiminie."

"Wait, are you going to answer to my question now?"

"I won't go out with Taehyung." She smiled and Jimin sighed in relief.

Smiling, Jimin finally said, "See you tomorrow, Myunghee!"

Myunghee ran to her bedroom and sat on her bed, squealing while hugging a pillow.
She decided to text Yoongi to let him know about what happened earlier.
