'The DNA test proves it all.'

The last few weeks saw lots of drama and secrets at the Rajgarh palace. It was revealed that another prince and princess existed, namely Prince Rihaan and Princess Riaana.

After the big reveal, Princess Riaana was found on a plane to London and was brought back by Prince Reyaansh of Rathoregarh. Princess Riaana and prince Reyaansh are still rumoured to be in a relationship.

After the airport drama, the board of council of Jaigarh had decided that the prince and princess must take a DNA test to prove that they're the heirs of his royal Highness, King Udayveer.

The DNA test did prove Prince Rihaan and Princess Riaana to be the king and queen's children. The Jaigarh palace hadn't announced yet as to why the prince and princess were announced to be dead twenty-six years ago.

It felt great to spend the last few days with mom, dad and the others. Of course, there was loads of drama. Loads. Enough drama for the rest of my life. Nevertheless, we had fun. Everyone was happy.

And Reyaansh.. I don't even know. There's so much going on between us.
Comprehending my feelings has become difficult. I think I like him but I don't know how it's going to work.

Nevertheless, I'm going over to Reyaansh's place to spend some time with him. He had finally got some time to spare.

I was going back day after tomorrow and I knew that tonight was the only night I'll be able to spend some time with him.

"Reyaansh, I'm home. " I said closing the door behind me and looking for him.

"Reyaansh ?"

"I'm in the kitchen." He screamed out loud as I heard some sizzling sounds from the kitchen.

"Finally." I said hugging him from the back.

"I know right. I've been waiting for you to spend time with me." He said as I pulled out from the hug.

"Come, sit here." He said pointing to the slab beside him.

I helped myself up and watched him cook. After stirring the contents in the pan, he turned towards me and raised him arm to open the cabinet above my head.

As he did so, his eyes didn't leave mine. There was something about that moment. It was more than just an eyelock. It was much more than that.

"The others are joining us for dinner. You don't mind, do ?" He asked uncorking a wine bottle as I shook my head.

"I got this wine for you, from the royal tour I went to last week, Spain." He told me handing the bottle to me. "One of the bests available there."

"You're not going to taste it ?"

"I need to drop you back." He said going back to his dish.

"I could ask someone to drop me." I suggested.

"I want to drop you back, so that I can spend some time with you." He said making me smile.

He turned around again and leaned over the slab his side, watching me take a sip of the wine.

"It tastes good." I told as he watched me intently. I could feel a smile curving up on my face from his gaze.

"Reyaansh, to really seem to want to taste this." I said holding out the bottle.

He took slow calculated steps towards me making my heart beat faster. I was still, sitting there, with my heart pounding in my chest, so hard that I wondered if he could hear it.

He stopped a few steps away from me. With his fingers, he pushed away the stray strands of hair away from my face and went on to place his arm on my cheek, his thumb gently brushing my cheek.

I could feel myself biting my lower lip. I knew my breathing was rugged but there was nothing I could do. With him, so close to me, this had to happen.

He leaned forward, in for a kiss. KISS ? Fu¢k ! What do I do ? WHAT DO I DO ?

After a few moments he pulled back and looked into my eyes. "It tasted good."

I looked at him with a questioning look. I didn't get what he was saying. I was thrown out of place to even comprehend anything.

The moment when he kisses me constantly played in my head.

"The wine. It tasted good." He repeated.

Before I could say anything, the door bell rang and he pulled back completely and went to get the door.

I sat there, still trying to recover from what happened. Did I just have my first kiss ? What just happened ?

I closed my eyes to calm down. My breathing was still rugged. I took a deep breath a few times to get back to my normal self and headed out to the living room.

Parul and Pahul were joining us for dinner, like he had told me earlier in the kitchen. The kitchen. My moment played in my head again. What the fuck ? Why can't I get it out if my head ?

What did you do to me, Reyaansh ?

We sat at the table while Reyaansh served us with food and took his seat beside me. I didn't have the courage to look at him or even talk to him. I was still stuck in the moment. I can't believe it.

Am I supposed to be angry at him ? No, I.. I liked it, to be honest but I don't know.

He drove me home after dinner. Just before I got out of the car, he held me back by my wrist.

"Riaana.."

I looked at him as he took my hand into his and then looked at me again.

"I did that after thinking about it over a hundred times." He said shifting in his seat. " Just don't regret it. That's all I want."

"I don't." I replied very honestly.

"Riaana, I can feel it. Both of us like each other. I know you need some time to accept all of this, but it's just I can't stop myself."

"I know, Reyaansh. I can understand what's going on in your head. Just give me some time to think it over."

"Thank you."

All I could do was smile at him and give him a hug.

Two months later..

"Why do you sound so upset ?" I asked him.

For some reason, from the past two days, he sounds very upset. The excitement in his voice was missing. He wouldn't talk much and wouldn't call me up either.

"It's nothing, Riaana. It's just the stress." He replied and that was what he said the last few times as well.

"Reyaansh, is it because I told you I need time ?" I asked him.

It was just after that conversation we had again three days ago, he began to behave a little off.

"Of course not, Riaana. It's not at all about that. I'll call you later. Dadi Maa is calling out for me." He hung up before even letting me reply.

I knew he was lying to avoid the topic. He's been avoiding everything from the past two days. The surprising part is that he hasn't been going on royal engagements as well which he never avoids.
