"What do you mean by I'm the one you need??" I said as I stumbled backwards when I tried to stand up. " I wanna go home..."
"Brad did you tell it ANYTHING? Do I really have to do EVERYTHING myself!?" He said as his face grew red and he shifted in his seat.
"I have a name you know... It's Sarah in case you're wondering." I was surprised how fearless my voice sounded according to how I felt...
"Sorry Boss, I thought that you might've wanted to fill her in, tell her everything, so I wouldn't have to..."
"Hmmm fine... STOP CALLING ME BOSS AND CALL ME CRAIG WILL YA?! Now Brad, go make this 'Sarah' a cup of coffee, this may take a while for this information to sink in..."
Craig opened what looked like a drawer and pulled out a folder. He flipped it open and pulled out a couple papers held together by a paper clip.
Oh man, am I being sued or something... I hope I didn't do anything bad...
"So Sarah Thaine, it seems like you would fit the job nicely... BRAD?! WHERE IS THAT DARN COFFEE FOR MISS THAINE?!"
At that moment Brad walked through a door, that must've been concealed by everything being white, and sat the steaming coffee next to my hand.
"Would you like a chair or something Miss Thaine??" Brad said, a slight bit of attitude in his tone.
I looked at Brad, then at the coffee,
"Urm, y-yes."
He looked slightly annoyed, but something else too, something I can't quite think of a word for, but I couldn't quite explain it... He looked into my eyes for a moment, then turned around and grabbed a chair.
"Brad, why don't you join in the conversation? Miss Thaine may need someone to... keep her still." Craig said, a hint of cheekiness in his tone.
Brad groaned, turned around and grabbed a chair for himself. Then seated himself about half a metre away from me.
"Now, Miss Thaine, you may not like what I'm about to tell you but, we need your help...
