"So, What store are we shopping at today?" Gray said from beside Natsu, whom is sending a calculating glare toward all the people surrounding us.

"I-is it possible we can go to a makeup store first? Please?" Gray groaned and Natsu just nodded his head.

"Why even bother with makeup, Lucy? You don't need it." I looked at him with a ' are you blind ' stare.

He just shrugged and avoided my eyes "I think you look fine without it." I blushed but quickly turned my face forward before he could see.

As you can see here, Natsu and gray both decided to join me today. Well I already knew Natsu was coming just not with gray.

I guess the town needs to be under surveillance at all times? I knew not to push him any further on the subject.

He will tell you when he's ready.

"I agree with Natsu. You really don't need makeup. When girls use it, they always cake up their faces- which makes them really unattractive by the way. So not a recommendation." Gray shrugged almost as if he didn't just call any girl who used foundation ugly.

I almost scoffed, men.

Haha..

"What kind of makeup stores do they have around here?" I wondered to myself, I really need certain products. Full coverage mostly.

"Erza and Mira are the experts on this kind of thing. I believe they mention a ulta store around the pharmacy shop."  I nodded in understanding. Because I know where that is..

Gray smacked Natsu on the head and he glared at gray.

"The hell man!" He rubbed the spot gray smacked.
"That hurt asshole."  Gray laughed loudly, I tried to hide my flinch but I don't think it worked. "You act like she knows her way around here, stupid. Your the one whose obviously crushing on her, be the asshole I know you to be and show her the way!"

I felt my cheeks get warm and found myself interested in my boots, was that a new stain?

About 30 minutes later we found ourselves in front of the ulta beauty store. I was in awe the place was much bigger than the one in crocus.

I walked inside with Natsu and gray trailing behind me.

"Hello! Welcome to ulta beau- My dear! What happened to your poor face darling!" I flinched.

Crap I completely forgot about my sunglasses!

"S-sorry about this mam. I'm afraid I am not comfortable answering your question. I know what all I need so thank you for the assistance you would have offered me." I flashed one of my fake smiles. The ones everyone believed was true.

The one they loved and hoped to see on my face everyday.

To bad they never noticed how empty it was, how my eyes are dull and void of emotion.

I didn't wait for her to respond as I quickly made my way threw isles.

"Woah!~ Lucy come look! What is this?! " I walked over to Natsu to see what he's up too, and smile at him. Oh god I'm trying not to laugh right now..

He currently is holding black eye liner and somehow applied it to his eyes.

Yes both of them.
"How did you do that?" I asked without bursting out laughing.

"I just followed these directions. Makeup is fun!" Oh such an innocent Natsu, just wait until you get it in your eye and it starts to burn.

"C'mon Natsu leave the makeup to us grown ups. Ain't that right Lucy?"
I spun around to face gray and when I did what ever little restrictions i had on my laughter fizzed out.

"Hahaha!" I clutched my stomach still laughing.

He had bright red lip stick smeared all over his lips, going a lot bigger than what his actual lips are, and he also happens to have on some false lashes.

How did they both manage to get this much done in the whole 3 minutes we were in here?

I soon recovered from my laughing state and open my eyes for the first time in like a minute.

Natsu is starring at me with wide eyes and a open mouth. Gray is looking at him with a smirk.

I grow self conscious and confused, I then realize why he's looking at me and blush from embarrassment. "S-sorry. I didn't mean to laugh at you guys." Gray scoffed "we are the clowns of this trio, so you have all the right to laugh as we do." He patted my shoulder as he walked away.

I smiled shyly at Natsu, "your laugh...amazing.." he shook his head as if to clear his thoughts and I raised a brow.

"Remind me to murder gray for being the one to make you laugh. Also for assuming he's gonna be joining us on our adventures. A trio pffft. Like hell with him." He narrowed his eyes in the direction gray went and I smiled.

Soon after that I went and got everything I needed, and then went to a mirror and applied them all. I was growing tired of the disgusted looks I was getting.

We then left the ulta store and told them I need to go into the pharmacy for some pain relief.

I just couldn't tell them what I was really there for. I don't want the pitied looks from them so I figure I should just keep them a secret.

I walked up to the front desk "hello, do you guys happen to sell anti depressants? " the girl whom was working nodded her head and didn't really speak until she came back with them.

"Would you like anything else?" I looked off to the side in thought.

Get them.

You. Need. Them.

I sighed and nodded " I would like a bottle of appetite suppressants and ibuprofen please." She sighed and went back and grabbed them, I made sure to grab the pharmacy bag with shame imbedded into my entire being.

Well here's my habits...dear world. The suppressants are for the days I get my hunger back.

I don't need food. I refuse to eat.

Sting ruined that for me.

I felt an unexpected beam of anger run through my body before it burned out and was swallowed by my fear of him.

I'm way too tired to be job hunting today..maybe I can try again tomorrow?

Unfortunately I didn't get to...
