"Eh?" Oh fuck. Never did I think I would be so insecure about telling her this, The look on her face is pure Confusion.

"I'm A street fighter." I repeated A few seconds went by before she nodded the shock not leaving her face.

"Oh. Uhmm I mean I guess it does kinda make sense.." she looked so awkward about this and I couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed...

I really like this girl and I'm just worried about her thoughts on this.
"How so?" She rubbed her arm and looked off to the side heat rushing to her face- It was getting red again.

"Well I mean...you have a lot of money and you...leave during the night sometimes..." she's not meeting my eyes when she says this. Im kinda shocked as-well why is she even up around that time? I normally leave at 3am.

"Wait. You're still up at that time? Why?" She just shrugged "It's really not a common thing anymore, Sometimes I'm just not tired."

I nodded and quickly put on a serious face and she seemed to understand and stood a bit straighter.

"Lucy...I Trust you. Clearly, but I need you to not tell anyone that's out side of our friend group." She nodded hesitantly.

"Natsu...I- Thank you." She looked so sincere but I'm just confused as of to why the hell shes thanking me.

I was about to question her on it but she fixed her mistake "Thanks for telling me I mean. It must have taken a lot for you guys to trust me, I don't know what happened here that made you all so guarded- but it must have been bad." She gave me a faint smile and I gave her a sad smile.

Maybe I should tell her what happened. She told me about some of her trauma it's only fair, right?

"I think...I'm ready to tell you." She looked shocked "I mean if your ready..I really don't wanna rush it Natsu!"

I grabbed both her hands quickly and led her to a bench. "Honestly there isn't ever going to be a right time to tell you. So I feel like it's best right now, It's not fair for you to be walking around in the dark for too long." I spoke softly trying to calm her. She sighed and looked me in the eyes "if your sure.." I gave her a faint smile and nodded.

"When am I ever not sure?" I was sure to add a wink in there to try and lighten the mood. She giggled and my heart started to hammer in my chest. This girl...she's It. She's most definitely the one.

I was sure of it now, I can't tell her just yet but when I do it will be a grand day.

I took a deep breath before I started to tell her about magnolias past.

"It all started when 2 new people suddenly came into town..."

Flash Back -
"You idiot! I thought I told you not to bother gray anymore!" I glared at my worst enemy from across the room, He was wearing a winning smile.

I just shrugged at my older brother, Zeref.

"Look He came after me first of all. So I technically just finished it. Ya know rather than starting it..'' I defended and his glare didn't falter I sighed ''I'm not saying sorry zeref.''

"Just let it go zeref. You already know it's not gonna happen." I turned towards levy and smirked then looked back to my brother "See, She knows."

"This conversation isn't over Natsu dragneel. You need to learn to let things go."

Psh let things go who does he think he is to tell me to do such a thing.

Levy walked up to me after zeref left the tavern "You know he loves you, right? Why give him such a hard time."

"He's just overbearing...Lev it gets annoying after a while. I mean you should know, you have a brother. Well 2 of them." She rolled her eyes at me and was gonna say something but the taverns doors swung open.

There was two men that I didn't recognize, I'm not shocked though we are a pretty popular town so it's normal we get company but, this time everyone turned to look. The atmosphere became tense.

whispers started to fill the silence I was confused, who were these guys? "Can we help you?" Levy questioned Jet and Droy walked up behind her seeming alarmed.

"Levy and Natsu I want you guys to leave right now..." jet whispered and Levy was gonna reply but she got cut off.

"We are looking for The dark fighter. If you tell us his location we won't cause any of you harm."

The dark fighter? Why are they looking for zeref. "What are you guys doing here?"

The guys at the door brought their attention towards jet "Well well well, If it isn't the Dark fighters 'Best Friends'." These dudes are not good news. They each had a 'Im an asshole' vibe and that is something I don't like, mainly the fact that they are looking for my brother using his fighter name.

"What the hell are you doing here Shadow!" Jet yelled causing everyone to start taking steps back.

Something bad is about to happen. Where's zeref? Never mind that...they are looking for him.

He can't be here right now.

"I'm here for the bastard, He thinks he can get away with cheating like that in a fight against boss? No. We brought the whole gang too, so you best be telling us where he is hiding." Shadow exclaimed in anger his face lighting up.

"He didn't cheat! You guys are the ones who brought the weapons! You sick bastard!" Droy shot back I was confused, this all must have taken place at the last match I wasn't able to go to all thanks to my out of town visit.

The bigger guy standing beside shadow tutted " You better shut your mouth before you lose something very precious to you." The whole tavern took that as a threat to one of their everyday members and went on cursing shadow and his friend.

"You can't come into our house and disrespect us like that!"

"It's only the two of you here! So anything you try we can take it!" Gray shouted and I did a shout to agree with him.

Shadow smirked then whispered something to the bigger guy, he cackled then said a word that had most of us confused for a second. "Split."

That was when our lives changed forever... We had been hit with betrayal of our own kind.

Such a shame.
