Serkan's Pov :

No one knows where she went . Is she alive or she is dead . She came like a storm and went away but this time from everyone . She left people to suffer behind . Like a wind she flew away to never to be found  again . It feels Empty inside to know she is not there seating on her desk completing her projects . Engin : Abi abi where are you lost why are you not picking up the phone of Kiraz she called so many times and then she called me because you were not picking 

Serkan : what happened to Kiraz Engin is she alright !? he asked worried 

Engin : Its late Abi kiraz is just a child she was waiting for you to come home and sleep with her hadi don't let the child wait more its not good for them to be awake till this late 

Serkan : Tamam 

Serkan was driving his car thinking about his wife . Who left him and his now 7 years old daughter alone without saying goodbye just a letter saying that she can't live with them anymore and to tell Kiraz that her Anne is no more when she is an adult . With unsure words she left . 

And from then no one knows where she went hiring private detectives to find her . going to the police but as if she vanished into thin air leaving no traces of her behind . as if she wanted not to be found 

Serkan : where are you Eda . didn't your conscience hurt you leaving that little girl when she was only 2 years old . If it was only me I would have understood but Kiraz why did you do that to her Eda how can you be so cruel .

Eda's Pov 

This is my life now . going to work solving cases and the coming back to huge empty apartment . It feels empty inside to know that no one would be waiting for me to return home soon . It feels empty inside to know that I am all alone with no ones shoulder to cry on , it feels empty inside to know that there would be no one calling me to ask how my day went . it feels empty inside to know no one would be there to call me anne . It feels empty inside ...

I hate myself for destroying 2 lives more with myself . I hate Semiha to what she did to me . I hate myself and just count on my days . with nothing to hold on to but now I think its time , time to return back Ik Serkan would not want to see me forever now but let me try for one last time and with that I called Semiha's office to warn her that I would no longer do what she told me to do . and to tell her I'm not afraid of her anymore .

Eda : I want to talk to Semiha Yildirim 

Boy : sorry mam I think there is an misunderstanding . Semiha Hanim died 3 years ago and now the company if handled by Murad Yildirim 

and this was it for Eda to loose it completely because that evil women has managed to destroy her life even after dying . She hated the fact the Semiha got this win even after dying .

Eda cut the phone and sat down with a thud defeated .

Eda called the chief and requested him to post her off in Istanbul 

Eda no longer wished to live her life she was going to Istanbul on a most dangerous mission just to see her daughter and Serkan for one last time because she was really sure she won't survive this mission and for other''s it seemed to be a punishment but to Eda it was a blessing .

She packed up her things in boxes and left locking her door knowing very well that either she would be back here in this country wrapped in flag or would be back in this country to count her further days , she left smiling a long time back no one saw Eda smile in these  5 years and everyone thought she was arrogant and rude but no one knew the pain behind that beautiful face .   

Eda's Pov :

5 years , 5 years ago I left this place to save my home , 5  years of being alone in this cruel world , 5 years of mental trauma , 5 years of thinking to give up everyday , 5 years being deprived of love and affection . 

it feels so good to be back here 

She had rented an apartment and a car for herself and was going there to keep her suitcase 

She opened her apartment door and saw what she was seeing since 5 years 

a huge apartment with no one to wait for her 

She left her suitcase in the living room and went towards what was the toughest thing to do 

She arrived at the Bolat residence

and pressed the bell 

Aydan opened the door and was surprised to see Eda at her door 

Aydan : Edacim 

she cried and took her cheeks in her hands and hugged her tightly 

Aydan : where were you kizim , why did you left all of us 

Eda also cried 

Eda : I'm sorry Aydan Hanim I was not a good daughter to you I just left you , Serkan Kiraz 

everyone 

Aydan : sus Anne for you Kizim hadi come inside don't know what you were doing see you are so thin and bonny 

Eda : Where is Serkan and Kiraz Anne 

Aydan : they are upstairs I will go and call them

Serkan came down at the living room and saw Eda shocked

and he was having a mental breakdown

Eda : I just wanted to see you  and Kiraz Serkan 

Serkan : see us Eda way , way , way you go one day without any explanation leaving a letter with no proper words leaving a 2 years old daughter behind and return after 5 years from god knows where and say you just wanted to see Us

they heard suddenly and acted like they were just talking 

Eda : Kiraz 

she said as she cried 

and Kiraz ran to Eda hugging her tight 

Kiraz : Anne you came back after making garden for Animal's  land 

And Eda looked at Serkan surprised as to he kept her image in front of her daughter 

Eda : evet kizim and she kissed her forehead 

Kiraz : baba said you are a landscape architect and make beautiful gardens  will you make a garden for me 

Eda : I was an  landscape architect Kiraz but I would make one garden only for you 

But the thing that caught Serkan's attention was that Eda left architecture but why and he thanked god for Kiraz as she asked the only question he was dying to listen the answer to  

Kiraz : but why did you left it 

Eda : Because it was no more fun to me 

Kiraz :so what do you do now 

Eda : I'm a Officer at European police 

Kiraz : way  so you catch bad people 

nd this is how Kiraz slept asking Eda so many questions 

Eda made her sleep on bed and turned towards Serkan 

and the look in his eyes said it all that he needed explanation  

They came to Serkan's room and Serkan closed the door

so that Kiraz doesn't hear anything 

Serkan turned towards her and said 

Serkan : explain 

Eda : I'm really sorry Serkan I know I should not have left like that but I was forced 

Serkan : who forced you Eda . 

he said calmly but he was looking still dangerous as if ready to pounce on her  

Eda : Semiha Serkan Semiha forced me she gave me threat to either leave you or she will kill you 

Serkan : you had a daughter Eda a 2 years old baby whom you left 

Eda : I know Serkan but I was helpless I couldn't  even inform you because I and you we both were being watched and the moment I tried telling you I saw a laser behind your head thats why I had to be fast . It was either you and Kiraz dying or me  leaving you guys .

5 years Serkan these were the worst years of my life I wanted to die every day . I joined police department in the hope that one day in some mission I would die but that never happened . Yesterday I got to know Semiha died 3 years back I was conjured by her even after death for 3 years . I'm so much done Serkan that I took the most dangerous mission to catch a whole cult of mafia and I can even die in this I know this  

and Serkan was crying until now 

Serkan : Nothing would happen to you Eda  nothing . you will be safe , you can't leave me after coming back you have to be safe for me for kiraz for us Eda you have to live 

Eda : I don't tend to live anymore Serkan . I'm with 99 percent of surety that I will not make it after this mission  

Serkan : there is still that 1 percent left Eda . I know you will make it .

hadi lets sleep 

Eda : I can't Serkan I have work to do I'd be going to my apartment now Kiraz can't see the files she can get traumatized by the photos in it

she went and left Serkan thinking of what happened to her in these 5 years that she changed this much 

and to be true he was really scared for Eda , he was scared because she didn't wanted to live anymore but he was more scared because Eda took the mission and he knew how much he would tell her that she would make it he was equally scared to loose  her . He was scared because Eda was right there is only 1 % chances for her to make alive . Catching a cult is not as easy as they show in the movies . 

Eda reached to her apartment and took her medicines she needed them today to sleep  it was not that she was taking them on regular bases but she needed them today a lot 

Serkan and Eda both slept thinking of what would happen the next day .

Serkan woke up at 5 in the  morning and so did Eda and Aydan 

the 3 of them didn't got any sleep because of thinking about the aftermath consequences of this mission  

Aydan was scared to loose Eda and Serkan both of her children

and Eda was scared to think of what would happen to Serkan and Kiraz if she died in this mission .

Eda was sitting in her huge living room alone doing her work when her bell rang 

she opened her door and saw Serkan there

Serkan came and saw the black texture of her apartment 

any sane man would go mental living here all alone 

Serkan : Eda I clearly remembered you used to like vibrant colours and  it was never black then what changed Eda any sane person would go insane living here . How are you living here in this huge apartment all alone with these black walls 

Eda : Its fine Serkan , and it is also said people should keep changing their tastes .

anyways want something to drink 

Serkan :Don't do this to yourself Eda don't do this 

he said 

he roamed the entire hall and saw the huge file on table 

which was horrifying to read the content that it even traumatized Serkan 

he though how was Eda living reading these type of cases for 5 years 

Eda gave him his black coffee and made one for herself 

both sat on the couch 

Eda : Serkan lets talk seriously  now 

I can not assure you that I would live or not and since its the matter of Kiraz you need to tell her make her understand seriously that I can not be here for forever . Ik Serkan I did this to us and I am sorry for that but I can't let you guys in trouble .  

second you need to find someone for yourself and Kiraz I mean I know this is the worst decision but we need to take it find someone for yourself and Kiraz who would not leave like me . I will sign the divorce as soon as they come 

Serkan : what are you saying Eda you are not going anywhere nothing is happening to you . You will stay with me and Kiraz for forever  . dare you say anything else .

that's when Eda's phone rand 

Person : Officer Eda welcome to the game

and he kept the phone 

Eda called her assistant Tunna

and as she thought it was a trap to kill her on the spot 

as soon as she went towards the bridge open firing started

Eda was injured slightly on her shoulder and hand 

she came back home with blood all around her arm and saw Serkan was waiting for her there so she quickly took her coat and wore it to hide the blood from him 

as soon as he opened the he was witnessed with a tired Eda

he was about to help her take her coat but Eda didn't let him 

and went towards her room Serkan got suspicious and went behind her 

she opened coat and shirt that she was wearing and let it fall on the ground 

and Serkan entered behind her and saw the blood on her shirt 

Eda he shouted 

Serkan : Eda are you mad why didn't you tell me you got injured so much blood Eda come to the hospital 

Eda : no Serkan I can't it would make a case 

Serkan saw Eda trying to take out the bullet from her shoulder with a scissors ( Guys do not try this at all at home , this is just fictional if u get any kind of serious injury visit a doc immediately don't try to become the doc yourself it can be dangerous )  

Eda : Serkan would you please hold this scissors and take the bullet out 

Serkan : what are you saying Eda I can't 

Eda : relax Serkan here hold it common 

and finally the bullet was out but what shocked Serkan more was the fact that Eda didn't even flinched a bit . He was shocked because Eda used to take whole house on her head if she got injured childish I know but this was how she was but the Eda right now didn't even flinched after getting shot by a bullet and then the bullet being pulled out by a scissors 

She turned towards Serkan 

Eda : Thank you Serkan 

and went towards the bathroom leaving it open 

Serkan saw this and went inside

and Serkan ran like anything and reached the ER 2 as soon as possible 

there was police surrounding the whole ward area to ER 2

Serkan showed them his ID 

and with respect the police man let him in the ward 

He ran to the closed door of ER

after 4 hours of what felt like eternity the ER door opened  

and the doc came out

Serkan : Doctor how is Eda , is she fine what happened to her 

Doc : Sir I can't say anything at the moment because , Eda Hanim has suffered with a huge blast she was coded twice  on her way to ER which was caused by a deep myocardial contusion or a bruised heart muscle ( Bare with my biology people the things I write in medical terms can be wrong as I'm a non med student and Medicine is not my field ) .

We were able to repair her collapsed lung and a broken rib . We have removed all the metal pieces  that we found during X - Ray . There is thankfully no swelling in her brain so no need for stent . We would keep her highly sedated till the next 24 hours and will monitor her in ICU . 

Police man : Did you keep the sharpenal we need that for evidence 

Doc : yes sir we kept it preserved in a bag 

I would give it you right away 

Serkan : Doctor can I go and see her

Doc : sure 

you can 

Serkan : entered all sanitized 

He saw Eda on the bed lying with numerous wires attached to her . Each machine monitoring her body's actions .  

it broke his heart to watch Eda's heart being monitored because of her irregular heart rate . 

 a huge oxygen mask covering her face giving her oxygen to breath . Her beautiful face covered with huge white bandages . 

Serkan : Its fine honey you are alright . Get up soon Eda everyone are waiting for you me , Kiraz , Anne , Ayfer Hala , Melo and you know Mini Melo is on its way so her hala have to get up fast and give her a good welcome party . We need to be the most chill hala right so you need to be better for that .

he kissed her forehead gently afraid he might hurt her wounds

he saying so he left as he was not able  to see Eda in this state 

as soon as he got out Ayfer was about to go inside 

but Serkan stopped her 

Ayfer : what are you doing Serkan leave me let me see my niece  

Serkan : which Niece Ayfer Hanim which Niece 

the one you abandoned in mins , or the one you broke your ties with  

exactly with what rights do you came here to watch her . Were you there when she was dying inside , were you there when she wanted to give up on her life each passing second or worst were you there when she needed a mother figure like you , no the answer is no you weren't there 

Ayfer : Even you weren't there for her Serkan 

Serkan : But see she came  back not to you right , she came back 5 years later for me . She trusted me with her broken heart . Believe me I have seen her broke down at nights , having nightmares , suffering every night to sleep . When she needed your motherly love you weren't there but I was I gave her that love she slept keeping her head on my lap . I gave her the love she deserved  . I know she is my life partner thus she is my responsibility . Sorry to say but she chose me as her guardian not you .  

Serkan didn't let Ayfer enter her ward thus she had to return back 

it was finally the time they decided to take Eda of the sedatives 

She slowly came back to her senses .

Her throat burning dry 

The nurse gave her a ice chip to keep her hydrated .

Doc : how are you feeling right now Eda Hanim 

Eda : I'm fine she said weakly it was a mere whisper 

Doc : any pain 

Eda : Yes Doc in my right side a bit 

Doc : Tamam its fine its the surgery pain 

are you feeling anything else other than that 

Eda : no 

Eda was exhausted with little question answers and was back to sleeping 

Serkan came in and sat by her side 

saying nothing just admiring her and this is how he slept of 

The next morning Eda woke up  feeling a little bit more powerful than the previous day 

she saw Serkan holding her hand his head on her bed and he was sleeping 

Eda : Serkan  she said weakly but it was audible to him as he was a very light sleeper so he woke up 

Serkan: do you need something Eda .

Eda : How is Kiraz and you Serkan 

Serkan : everyone are fine Eda are feeling any pain or anything 

Eda : no 

I'm fine 

days went by and Serkan and Kiraz together  took good care of Eda 

Eda resigned  from police stating that it was wonderful serving the country for 5 years and if needed for really urgent she'd be happy to contribute in future she also said that they all were like a family the whole department was sad that Eda was leaving but they were also happy for her as in the whole 5 years they finally saw Eda smile .

Serkan and Eda were finally back to their lives as Serkan insisted Eda to start up with her architecture life again it was hard but she started it again .

They all were finally happy as Eda gave birth to Alb Kiraz's baby bother and with Cansu Melo's daughter .

Serkan watched his family smiling and happy .

Serkan's Pov 

I don't want these smiles to fade ever . I would always protect them .

The feeling of being empty inside was long gone I was finally happy with my wife and kids .

I was finally starting to live my life again . I was happy with Serkan and my kids .
