"Why me? " I asked.

"Because it's you. " He answered.

And it was the most beautiful feeling I've ever felt.

"Seriously. "

"You are something more. There's something about the way you laugh, they never reached your eyes. There's more to your closed up demeanor and collected streak of character. You are hiding something. I knew it when silence sliced to almost any of our conversations."

And if it was even possible enough. I am falling for him.

"I'll always be here. " His nose touched mine. I smiled at that.

"I hate you. " I broke free from our proximity.

"I still love you. " There was nothing that changed, he still looked at me like how he looked at me before.

My hands played with his hair. We were now a tangled mess. His arms around mine and my arms around him.

"I hate you. But then again, I started loving the things I hate. So, I hate you. " I whispered.

"Did you just? "
I couldn't see his reaction from the dimly lit area of the park. But from the excitement of his voice I could tell he was happy.

"Yes."

The park was empty. We decided to stroll here after our last class at 8. We ate ice-cream and just sat at the lover's benches.

He pulled me close, his gaze held mine captive, his eyes lingered on my lips, his flimsy fingertips caressed my face ever so lightly I felt like I'm in a reverie.

"If this is a dream then I don't want to wake up. " My voice hitched as I tamed the erratic beating of my heart.

"I love you Zen."

His lips hovered over mine.

But the kiss wasn't shared.
