The ligh shine over the window not fully covered by the curtains of the demon bedroom...

But surely the sounds of birds singing slowly awoke the being from his deep slumber. When his eyes open, he saw how bright the sun were has it give it's deadly ray of laser to his own four eyes. He grunted in annoyance has he covered his face with his arms. He do not want to wake up, but he had to do that. works await him, even if not a lot of costumers would come in his shop to get a certain potion to help them.

And so, he got out of the mattress of the bed and goes into the bathroom to take a shower. This would mostly wake him up a bit.

After that he went downstairs (with new clothes on of course.) to his kitchen to get something in his fridge. He took a bottle of milk strawberry flavored and put it on the counter next to him.
He got a glass from the cupboard up him and put it down next to the bottle of flavored milk. He open the bottle and pour some of the liquid into the glass. It was now filled with a pink colored liquid that seem to sparkles with some red small dots everywhere in it.

He then close the bottle and put it back in the fridge before taking the glass again and walking out of the kitchen in a calm space.

Once he got to his work desk he took a glance at the papers that was quite starting to pill up on the table and would mostly bother his work.
He sighed and put his glass safely on his coffee table.

"I should get ride of those once I have finished a costumers order..." He mumble out has he lazily took the pile of paper like it was nothing before he put them under his desk, where a small drawer was put to stag some papers in.

Soon when he was going to take his glass to finally took a sip of his drink. The office phone suddenly ringed.
He grumble has he retracted his hand from the glass to the phone. Once he picked it up, he could already hear what seemed to be his friend talking to someone. It mostly sounded like she was arguing with them.

"Tris? Everything good?" He asked with concern in his voice.

"Mh? Oh no! Everything is totally fine! Except someone had to again... Made an excuse to not come with me to the orphanage!" She said sarcastically.

This made the tall guy raise an eye brow in confusion. He never heard her doing sarcasm before. That was new. And by how she sounded. She must have been talking to her husband.

"Are you... Talking about Bendy?" He said a bit uneasy has he reach his other hand over his milk that he needed to drink so much right now.

"No not at all... Of course I am duh!"
She respond a bit sternly.

He did not like that at all. He never liked to hear his only friend talk like that. Something bad must really have happen to her and him.

"So... Did he say something to you about the kid you wanted to adopt?" He took a sip of his drink has he waited for her to explain everything that happen.

"He..." A sigh was heard before she could continue her talk. "I wanted to make it a surprise, but when I talked to him about having one. It was always an excuse like, 'i have work and I can't be able to give them attention' or 'sorry not now, I have found a business very important to get'." She explain has she seem desperate about that. "It's always the same with him. He could only have time for work and nothing else... That's why I wanted us to have a child. But since that you know I can't make one, I can only adopt one. Yet.. I feel like this only bother him to already have me in his life." She now sounded sad.

Bone's ears goes down a bit. He really hate hearing her feeling this sad from all emotions. This one, was never the most loved for him. It made him remind of the time his parents had a fight one day and his mother had mostly said that last sentence to him.

"Bone... Do you think I should break up with him?" She suddenly ask with a weak voice.

He widen his eyes has he almost drop his glass.

"A-Aren't you two married? You know that he won't let you go if he don't sign the paper for the divorce?" He sounded surprised.

"I-I know... But I can't.. He is everything to me. I-I just want to have a family together with him.." Her voice cracked. She sounded like she was about to cry or maybe she already was.

Bone put down his glass a bit to fast on the table. Which almost make it fall off. But he carefully caught it to steady it so this don't happen.

But his most big problem was his best friend crying over the other side of the phone. He has to go see her and comfort her now.

That's what he did. He told her to not move from where she was and hung up the phone.

He grab his keys, open the doors, walk out, close the door behind him and walked pretty fast to where Tristana's house was.

Meanwhile in the orphanage...

All the kids where in a room. The room was like a classroom. Where there is desk for the kids to sit in front of and a bigger one for the teacher near the whiteboard.

This room has been made since the school the kids could only go was a bit to far to get them there.
Now, the kids could learn with the teacher that was assign to help them.

While the teacher was talking about life and all the stuff about it. You where watching outside the window. Focusing on the birds on a tree. They seemed to be a nice small family, enjoying their life with no problem.

This made you feel sad and lonely. You never had a family in your life. Like everyone here. Except some who were put back here because they were to mean to their adoptive parents.

You let out a small sigh has you leaned more on your desk. You really wish to have a dad and a mom. Or at least one of the two. You only want to be happy and have fun like the other kids outside of here.

Then you remember about the big tall cat guy that you met with the beautiful kind woman. You saw how his red eyes were staring at you in that time. It seemed empty, like there was any emotions coming from him.

This made you wonder about why he was like this? He seemed calm but, something was off coming from him.

There was an aura you could feel. You never felt it before. It's like... You were destined to meet him.

You shook your head, not wanting to have hope already. It's not like he will adopt you in a way. You were always seen has a boring child. A kid who only has their head in a book or play some puzzles or other stuff that don't look like a normal kid could do.

Suddenly you were back to reality when a slam on your desk came.
You look up to see your teacher giving you a stern look. You sheepishly sit properly and look away nervously.
"Don't daydream in my class (y/n). Pay attention please." Said the teacher more seriously has he remove his ruler on your desk and goes back over the board.

"Y-Yes mister..." You said silently has you hold your own hands.

Today it surely gonna be a long one for you.

After the lesson you receive, it was time to eat lunch in the cafeteria.
You mostly got on a table where there is no one on it.

What you eat in the cafeteria was always not good. But it's the only thing that still kept you healthy.

While eating you heard the others talking about the two person they saw not long time ago.

"Hey, do you think he will come again?"

"I dunno... But I wish he could!"

"Yeah! He seem a cool guy!"

"H-He is very tall too... A-And have you seen his eyes?"

"Of course we did! He is a demon right?"

"A demon? I heard story about them.."

"Like what? They eat human for lunch?"

They laughed has it was a joke.
Well it's true that in the story they were told, demon was the species that could eat you when they want to.

After the demons were allowed to stay in earth with some rules to respect. No one should fear them. Yet there is still a lot of people who are scared of them.

But in your case, you don't. You instead like them. You read a lot of books about demons and all the different species of them. Of course, the books in the orphanage are limited. So you only knew a few of some. And they were mostly about the most dangerous one.

You have learned that those would mostly goes after your blood if you happen to hurt yourself or accidentally open a wound you were sure that healed.

In the books, demons had drawings that refer to them. Their claws... Their teeth.... Or even the appearance they have.

The guy you met yesterday... Could he be one of those dangerous demon you saw in the books?
You were curious and interested to know.

If he come back here. You really will go after him and ask questions. You want answer for your curiosity and you can't wait any longer.

So once you finish to eat, you went into your bedroom.

You took out your note book and started to write on it. You have to plan something out once he was here. Because if he was dangerous or not. You really wanted to know stuff before you see him again.

After a long comforting talk...

Bone and Tristana decided that they needed to take some fresh air outside to change their mind. Especially for the woman.

"I know this might be annoying to you... But can we go at the orphenage? I really want to see those cute kids again.."

The demon look down at her for a moment. Then he look over the sky. He sure don't like this. After all, he was able to calm her down and help her feel better a little. But he guess that seing those kids would help her more.

"Fine... But you better behave yourself with them okay?"He seem to not want to deal with running after her if she tries to get away with a kid.

"Pff- come on Bone... I'll just be gentle with them. I would never hurt any of them!" She said confident has she give her cocky smile to him.

He shrugged and hoped that what she just said was true.

The two of them went over to the orphanage. With no doubt of what could happen there.

Especially for the tall demon...
