The next day.

Bone wake up from his desk by a loud banging from his entrance door of his house. He got up in a grumpy way has he goes out of his work office tired. He went over some small staircase and walk down them. He mumble a low "Coming..." has he get to the door.

Once he open the door he register that his best friend did came to get him. He was a bit surprised to see her here already. She seem to look very excited. He glance inside his house to look at the clock pinned on his left side. It was ten in the morning, meaning that the orphanage is open to some visit.

"Are you ready Bone!?" Asked the young lady in too much excitement and happiness. He look back at her with his tired eyes. He did not get prepared yet, since he had work hard until it was three of the morning. Before exhaustion had take him away. Now he stand there in his dirty clothes not fully awake. He notice that Tristana change her face full of happiness to a mad one suddenly. He gulped has he know to not make a small lady mad or bad consequence will happen. "Bone! Did you work hard again? Come on! Go prepare yourself please! I want to see the cute cinnamon rolls!" She wined has she cross her arms not happy at all. The demon let out a sigh has he leave the door open and goes to his bedroom to change himself.

Only ten minutes later, Bone was in some cleaner clothes. Which mean it's his usual white big pull with a white t-shirt underneath and a dark blue jean. He never wear shoes since he has pretty sharp claws down there. when he was about to say that he was ready, he got his hands pulled over the exit of his house immediately. "Tris wai-" He got cut off when somehow he was being pulled forcefully in the direction of the field full of flowers not far from his house that lead to the orphanage.

Meanwhile in the orphanage...

All the children had wake up at height in the morning to prepare themselves to meet the inspector. The routine was to do has usual but being more nice in front of the inspector eyes but also to the person that will come to pay a visit.

The (H/c) child has usual would go to a silent place to read their favorite book while the other kids play with each other. This time they hoped no one will bother them in their read time. They got in their own bubble has they got in their own dream world. They were a warrior prepare to fight the big golden dragon. In their story their are the hero that save the people of their town. They would be praised once the dragon gone. They were loved, cherished, had friends to play with. If they could made a wish, they would surely wish to have this life instead of being in a place were they are not wanted by a lot.

Their fun moment were interrupt again. But by who? Well it was one of the two inspector that came to watch how the orphanage work. The man was standing in front of the child. He was holding a notebook with a pen. "Hey kid... Do you always stay here alone?" The child a bit afraid of the man, stand up and back up. "I-I... Yes, but that's because no one like me.." They said shyly to the stranger. He hummed and write something down in his notebook. 

The child decide to run away to a safer place inside the building of the orphanage. The inspector did not move or even said something when he saw them run away in fear. The kid felt that this man was dangerous and they had to run away for safety like they did. They soon stopped has they pant from being exhausted already. They glance around them to see they were in the cafeteria, where one of the caretaker was. She was talking with the other inspector, she was a lady. Once they think they were safe now, they went to another area much more calmer. But they heard footsteps coming their way. They decide to simply run again to be sure to not heard those steps again.

They end up being cornered to an area they don't know or never got before. They look around curious about it. It seem they have gone into the private staff that use this room has a break room. They walk over a chair and sit down on it. This one was close to a window that was wide open. It show a beautiful field of flowers. They watch them with satisfaction. 

That satisfaction was stop by a sound of a door being close. This drew attention to the (H/c) kid that flinch in surprise. The man was back and he don't looked like a nice guy at all. The child goes off the chair and runed over a corner of the break room. "W-What are you doing Mister?" They ask afraid. The man only smiled weirdly has he walk over to them slowly. "I just want to be nice... Don't you want to have a friend?" He ask curiously with his eyes closed and his head tilting to one side. The child blinked curiously has they heard him right. "A-A friend?" They ask has they felt less afraid. The man smirked has he got his head back up. "Yes~ a friend~ Would you like that?" The child hold their book very close to their chest has they think about what he said. If they had a friend, no one will judge them right? They slowly nodded to the man. "That's good~! Do you know what friends do~?" He asked has he got more closer to the child each time he said a sentence. The kid only shook they head confused. "W-What does they do?" They ask innocently. The man suddenly lunch at them very fast. "They kill the weak one!" This startle the child has they got an instinct that kick inside them. They duck down to dodge the man and runed over the locked door. They unlock it quickly has they glance behind them. The man was crazy has he seem to drool from his mouth like a total maniac. The child did not think at all but run. They run fast like in a marathon to be away from that disgusting man. This was not an inspector like they were told. This was a killer, a murderer! 

They screamed for help in the long hallway has the furious man was running after them. But no one has answer them back from their call for help. They keep running has they look behind them very afraid of the man. Until they had bump into someone. They fell on the floor but quickly got back up and hide behind that person too afraid. They were shaking a lot in fear not even seeing if they were with one of the caretaker now or someone else. They hugged the person leg not daring to let go. Has they hide their face, they could feel a small pat on they're head. This made them let go of the person leg a little bit. "What is going on in here?" Ask a feminine voice. The child slowly glance up to met brown eyes looking at them in concern. The kid stare at the blond lady that seem to be sending a kind aura. She smiled softly to them. "are you alright dear?"  She asked gently. They shake they head and would point over the crazy man over that now seem to have a more sane face when the two person came here somehow. "Well... It looks like this man had try something." Said a deep voice with a low growl in the tone of his voice. The child look up over the person he held on. They were quite surprise to see a black humanoid cat standing there on only two feet. "K-Kitty?" They ask curious. This only brought attention over them from the tall demon. He stare at the (E/c) child with his empty white eyes. But then red pupil could be mostly seen after that very long stare. The child hide their face again. Those eyes kind of look like a demon that was tell from a story they heard from a caretaker.

The demon had took the child in his arms has he now notice they were too exhausted to walk. The blond young lady had walk with him and would not stop to say how cute the child is. Bone rolled his eyes has he walked to where seem to be the other kids. His eyes widen at the sight of them. Tristana only squealed with pure joy. "They are so adorable!!!" she then cover her mouth. She had brought attention to the kids. All awed at the view of Tristana and Bone. especially to the demon since it was the first time for them to see one this close.

They all drop they're toys and cheered has they run over to them. Tristana chuckles to that sight. It was to much for her to handle this cuteness in her heart. Bone only look startled by all the kids running around him with curiosity. "It's a cat!" one exclaim. "No a demon!" another one bark back. They were arguing on what species Bone was and he felt uneasy about it. Until clap noise could be heard. It was a caretaker that came into rescue. She told all the kids to step back and behave. 

The caretaker came closer to the two adult. "I'm very sorry, we did not notice you two came here..."She said with a sorry face to them. "Oh it's quite alright miss!" said Tristana with a small smile. "If you say so miss... are you here to adopt a child or just looking for one before you adopt one?" She ask curious to the two. But she was surprise to see the (H/c) child asleep in Bone arms. "Oh! I was searching for them!" Bone raised an eye brow. "why? Are they a trouble maker?" He ask curious. The caretaker only shook her head. "No NO! It's the opposite... They are very calm and is also the lonely kid here.." She sadly said has she rub the back of her neck.

The demon was quite surprise to hear that. He look down at the child in his arms and smiled a bit. The caretaker took notice of that has a chance."Do you maybe... Want to adopt them sir?" She ask holding her hands like she hoped a lot for the child to finally be in a family they wanted. That's when the black cat face look more serious suddenly. "Miss... I'm not here to adopt." He exclaim making the lady look down in sadness."But... My friend over here is." He point over to the short blond lady next to him. The caretaker look at her and would wear an happy face to hear that. "Really? I am so glad to heard that at least!" She went over to Tristana to hold her hands in excitement. "How many do you want to adopt miss? Two? Three?" she bombarded her with questions. Tristana smiled despite how she wanted to just step away from the excited woman. She even look over to Bone with her pleading look for help. He only smirked and look away. He felt better when he saw his friend being in trouble.

The child soon open their (e/c) eyes to see them to be surrounding. "Mmh..... Mom..?" They mumble out thinking they were in their mother arms before she left them here. Bone looked down at them. The two stare at each other again. "Do I look like a woman to you?" He ask confused. The child only respond by shaking their head. The demon moved a hand over they face. "For a small being.... I never saw one this close to not already be crying because of me.." He said while moving a hair behind the child ears. The kid confused by that turn, tilted they head. "Why you said that Mister..? You look like a big kitty!" they beamed with moving their small hands around to try to show how big he is.

This only made the demon snort. "Good point kid..."
