TW: None, enjoy some more fluff <3

A/N: Clearing something up here, i made a big thing about how fwhip was telling Joel to confess to lizzie and all in a previous chapoter and then after the two month time skip i referred to joel as lizzies boyfriend, what happened is the day of "The first lunch (drama)" fwhip pressured joel and he asked lizzie out on a date, Let me know if you all want a chapter on how that played out! (This takes place on their two month anniversary)

{Lizzies POV}

I walked into the school confident and excited, it was me and joels two months today! I was smiling ear to ear and our group seemed to know why as the first thing i heard was jeers of "Happy 2 months!!" or "happy anniversary!" from a line of people (A/N rlly quick, owen, scott and xornoth are still out of school, this takes place on the day of "From his bed") Thats when they all, on cue stepped to the side. "Happy anniversary liz.!" Joel said nervously, stepping forward with a bouquet flowers 

"Joell!!! oh my god this is so cute!! happy anniversary!!" I yelled running up and hugging him, he then kissed me on the cheek "You look gorgeous, that dress suits you" he said and smiled. I was wearing a blue dress, with a pink studded belt cinching my waist, the dress had white, gold, and pink accents on it, as well as some lighter blues near the bottom which looked like water.

"Awh thank you!! You look absolutely amazing aswell!" I said smiling at him. He was wearing a white collard blouse, blank pants, and his blouse had pink and green accents on us, our favorite colors. "Why thank you liz" he said smiling we were enjoying our moment when gems phone rang, "Joel, shelbs?" she said "yeah Gem?" joel said looking over at her as well as shelby "Scotts calling, should i facetime?" she said smiling "Yes, facetime him" joel said smiling as gem answered (A/N: everyone whose there right now knows about the surgery and car accident, the rest of their group does not. Ex of who does: Gem, fwhip, joel, shelby, lizzie and jimmy.)

"Hiya scott!" I said smiling as gem answered the phone as everyone began to say hello/hi "Hi guys!!" scott said cheerfully "There a reason why you called?" Gem asked "Welllllllll, i tried to call joel but he doesnt charge his phone, per usual" scott replied "well why were you trying to call me?" joel questioned "Two reasons, one, Happy Anniversary Joel and Lizzie!" He said smiling "Thanks scott! Also where are you right now, because that isnt your hospital room?" I said 

"Well thats the second thing! I got released earlier today!" He said smiling "Thats awesome dude! How long till your back?" Fwhip said smiling "only one more week of bedrest! then back to school i come" He said smiling "works out perfect as in 2 weeks time we finally get to move into our dorms! and find out our dormmates-" Gem said smiling "I entirely forgot about that-" Jimmy said chuckling "Typical forgetful jimmy" scott laughed "Shh- Shut up-!" jimmy said trying to defend himself 

"Nah!" scott said "Alright, i have to go buttt have a great day and an amazing anniversary!" Scott said "Bye scott!!" there was a wave of before he hung up. "the fact he got discharged from a hospital and the first thing he does is call to tell you two happy anniversary is sweet" fwip says, a light smile on his face "Hes always been like this, when we were little me, shelby and scott would meet up outside the adoption agency  and hed be waiting there in the little field infront of it, with flowers and food set up, it was adorable" Joel said smiling brightly 

"Adoption agency?" i asked, confused "Sh!t uh- i shouldnt have said that- uhm. that, is for scott to tell you all. when hes ready." joel said looking around slightly "Alright now anyway le-" jimmy started but got cut off by the annoying sounds of 

*RING RING RING*

the annoying bell ringing, dismissing us to first period, the day went on, three periods, then lunch, two more periods, freetime and one last class. I sighed "last period.." i mumbled to myself, taking out my chemistry notebook to take notes in. Atleast joel is in this class! i thought to myself excitedly as i sat down at my usual chair, i was a bit early but joel usually was.. and he wasnt? worry creeped into my thoughts as we always talked before class, and ide only seen him for half of free period.

{Joels POV}

"Katherine!! i need the flowers at the door by the time next period is over!!" I said anxiously over the phone "I- joel, im not sure if i can get back to my home and back with the bouquet in time!"  "Please, just be here as soon as you can with the flowers! 1 promise im willing to pay" i stated, frantically tripping over my words "Im not taking your money joel. I can try, i promise" she said "Thank you kat-" 

*RING RING RING*
 

"Bye Katherine sorry i gotta get to class!!" i yelled "Bye joel!! good luck later" she said before hanging up i put my phone in my pocket and ran down to the chemistry classroom grabbing my textbook from my locker along the way. "I am, so so so sorry for being late Mrs. Goetia! "Its alright joel, take your seat you got here before the lesson started so i will let it slide!" Mrs. Goetia said cheerfully, smiling "Thank you Mrs. Goetia" i said before sitting down and mouthing "sorry" at lizzie, she pulled out a piece of paper and began to write

She then slid it on my desk and it read

"Where were you? we always come early and talk or study before class starts.. you worried me because your never late! besides when you skip classes.. If this was Mr. Grahams class youd so be dead right now. Glad you okay though!"

I looked over at her and smiled before writing my response and wrote down,

Im so sorry for not being here, i was talking with Katherine about something i have set up for later i have the entire day planned out, theres nothing to worry about i promise!

She looked up from the paper and gave me a wholehearted smile before nodding and diverting her attention back to the class and teachers lessons and lecturing of boring formulas and chemicals and- more stuff-? im not sure i was zoned out looking into lizzies blue eyes glancing at the teacher and at her notebook, jotting down what she says before..

*RING RING RING*

The final bell, before our day to ourselves.. i sighed in relief and started packing up my stuff to get ready before walking out without her, frantically calling katherine. 

{Lizzies pov}

first he was late, now he rushes out of the classroom the second class is over? what going on with hi- "Hey!! katherine im so happy you picked up" i heard him say from the hallway, i listened in "Okay okay, do you have the flowers?" he asked "Yes! i do im on my way to the spot right now, gem and fwhip are here to help set up!" She said over the phone "Thank god! you three are life savers, its a bouquet offf... pink flowers and red tipped yellow roses correct?" he asked, those were my two favorite flowers.. i blushed.

"Yes sir! those are correct, you wanted the lavender and sage among the edge, pink sheer paper and light blue ribbon?" she said over the phone and i heard joel reply, i could tell he was smiling "Yes!! thats perfect, im sure she'll love them, and im on my way!!" he said before leaving, i felt my face heat up before walking over to my brother "You good? your blushing like mad" jimmy said

"Joel.. is the best boyfriend in the universe!! he bought a bouquet of flowers with all my favorites and favorite colors its so sweet!!" i rambled out " i love seeing you so happy liz" jimmy said with a soft smile plastered on his face as we pulled each other into a tight hug.

{Jimmys POV}

I loved seeing my sister so insanely happy.. especially because her reputation with her exes.. well its not exactly the cleanest. But joel? hes, perfect for her. the sweetest guy around lizzie had joel and i have- 2 massive f*ck!ng crushes ill never admit to- (A/N: to anyone whose wondering, the crushes are Scott (ofc) and Kirsty, his irl gf/wife (idk if their married) 

{Joels POV}

I arrived at the spot, a gorgeous lush cave area with multiple little bodies of water and axolotls freely roaming around. Then in the middle of it all, a baby pink and sage green picnic blanket, glow berries, candles and lanterns lighting up the entire thing. It was perfect. then there they were, my friends whom helped set up the whole thing. Gem, Fwhip and Katherine. Katherine, whom got the flowers and set up the bouquet, Gem whom helped with the blanket, dyeing it and decorating, and Fwhip, whom did the lighting and set up a mini projector and movie setup. 

"guys this is.. perfect!!" i said walking in "Im glad you like it joel!! and here, are your flowers." Katherine said handing me the bouquet. "Its arranged gorgeously!! Lizzie is going to love these.." I gave Katherine a soft smile "Welll shoot the text, annnnnd we, will get going! See ya later joel! anddd good luck!" Gem said grabbing fwhips wrist and walking out. "Bye Katherine, Bye Gem, Bye Fwhip!" I said looking over my shoulder and smiling as they walked out of the small cave.

I then sent lizzie a text which consisted of..

Hey Gorgeous

Im at concrete park, meet me at our spot, head to the left..

And go into the small "secret" cave

Trust me on this please, Your the light of my life.

This is how im going to prove it to you.

{Lizzies POV}

I was walking with jimmy and my phone buzzed, it was a text from joel. Jimmy saw my face turn pink as i read the cute date invitation. "Whats up with you?" Jim asked once again. "Joel is still, the sweetest boyfriend in the freaking universe!!!" I squealed and showed him the text "Okay, that is quite cute- want me to walk you over there?" He said and smiled "Yeah sure!!" I said as me and my brother headed towards concrete park 

"Bye Jim!!" I said walking into the park "Bye liz!! Good luck, not that youll need it, you and joel are perfect!" Jimmy said with a huge smile "Your sweet, anyways Byee and thank you!!" i said before running off to me and joels spot. 

{Jimmys POV}

I loved seeing lizzy so cheerful, she seemed.. genuinely amused with him.. and i loved seeing her like this. Seeing her happy made me happy. Knowing i may not feel the way she does.. ever. But thats okay. as long as i see her happy.

{Lizzies POV}

I ran to me and joels spot, and headed to the left like he told me to. There did i see, the "secret" cave hed been talking about.  I walked in warily. But there i saw.. A gorgeous movie set up, lit with glowberries, lanterns and candles.  Axolotls were walking around in the waters and on stones and clay in between. It.. was gorgeous. "Hey Beautiful." He said from the blanket before standing up and walking over to me and handing me the bouquet of my favorite flowers.

Yellow tipped and light pink roses with sage and lavender.. it smelled gorgeous together. "Joel this is- oh my god you- youve outdone yourself!!" I said pulling him into a tight hug "anything for you liz" He whispered into my ear hugging back 

The date went on, perfectly. We watched legally blonde (which i definitely forced him into) but we continued. We ate the snacks and food he had set up aswell as played with some axolotls. but it didnt end there. He had played music and we danced out hearts out until dark. 

"This was amazing joel.." I said pulling him closely as our foreheads touched and we both smiled. "Im glad you loved it liz.." He said pulling me closer with his hands around my waist. wanna stay the night?" I asked him smiling "Why not, got nothing else to do" He said smiling as we both broke apart smiling and holding hands, as we left the small cave and walked back home.

"Mum, Jimmy im back!!" I shouted when we walked in "Hi darling! Ah hello joel!" my mother said "Hello Mrs. Solidarity Shadow" He said back, smiling. "Please dear, call me Mrs. LD or Mrs. S its much easier than our full name" She said walking out of the kitchen "Okay Mrs. LD, thank you for your kindness" He said smiling at her once again, they exchanged smiles and jimmy came downstairs pulling off his headphones "Hi liz, Hey joel!" He said "Hey Nerd" joel joked "your calling ME a nerd-? i can barely spell in texts!" Jimmy said 

"Would you rather be called an idiot?" Joel asked him gaining a laugh from our mother "I guess not- im going back upstairs- " Jimmy said before turning around and putting his headphones back on "Wanna bake something?" i asked him "Sure why not!" Joel said smiling "Ill leave you two alone, but just clean up when your done alright?" My mother stated "Alright mum!" i said back smiling 

"Wanna bake a cake?" I asked "yeah sure! what flavour?" he asked "mm strawberry?" i smirked "whatever youd like liz!" he said, i smiled. 

*INSERT EXTREMELY EPIC COOKING/BAKING MONTAGE PT3 (JIZZIE EDITION)*

"aaaaaaaand done! i think we did a pretty good job!" i said smiling at the finished, 2 tier cake. "Yeah, i think we did as well!" He said and smiled. The rest of the night consisted of listening to music, dancing with each other, watching movies, pillow fights, and of course.. messing with jimmy. And i wouldnt have had this anniversary.. any differently. 

It was.. 

Perfect ..
