{Jimmys POV}

i paced inside my dorm before falling face first onto my bed and screaming into a pillow, purely for NO reason whatsoever
(me too jimmy, me too..)

"YOU DEAD TIM?!" grian called
"NOT YET GRAIN" i joked 
"SHUT THE MOLDY BREAD CRUMBS UP!"  he yelled
"NO!" i yelled
"BUT BAD BOYYYY" he complained
"GRAIN SHUT UP BEFORE I FILL YOUR MOUTH WITH YOUR HOLY MOLDY BREAD CRUMBS!!!!" i screamed 

he never answered

i smiled at my boyfriends childish behavior i loved ever so dearly
i jumped up realizing i only had an hour to get ready
i quickly took a shower, got dressed and hurried out of the dorm

"where are you going in a rush mr. jimjam?" scar asked, him and grian had recently moved into our dorm
"date with scott, got to go, byeee!" i called and slammed the door

i sprinted down the hallway, my mind was racing, it was already 5:15 and the cafe was 10 minutes away, i wanted to be early
i hopped into my car and drove to the cafe ATTEMPTING not to break the law
i got there at exactly 5:30, 5 minutes early.
scott was sat on the edge of the roof, his wings flapping gently behind him, but one thing that confused me was ace bandages covering his right ankle/leg
i waved and he waved back excitedly, jumping off, i panicked for a second forgetting he had wings
He floated down to infront of me, landing gently on his left leg and placing his right one down carefully

".'EY!! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING OFF YOUR CRUTCHES?!" xornoth yelled poking his head out of the door
"Xor i sprained my ankle i think ill live" he scoffed
"they put you on crutches for a reason idiot.." xornoth sighed
"when did you hurt yourself?" i asked, confused
"last night in an attempt to beat joel.. SOMEONE tripped me." scott scoffed and shot a glare at his twin
"he didnt intend to hurt you-" xornoth sighed
"yeah right, i bet the whole starting over thing was just a line of lies to get closer to you" scott scoffed and xornoth rolled his eyes going inside
"aeor.. sorry about that-" he sighed
"No no dont apologize!" i smiled
"how about we head inside, shall we?" he smirked
"We shall" i grabbed his and and we walked inside slowly, i made sure to keep my pace slow as his limp was noticeable, our hands stayed interlocked.
"Ah Evening jimmy!" Ms. Major spoke
"Evening Ms. Lauren!" i spoke as me and scott both sat down, we got our usual teas as 'afternoon drinks' instead of coffee, but of course shared a few pastries aswell

atleast three hours of us just talking passed, it was now past eight.
But neither of us cared, we planned to go on a drive afterwards anyways!
which we were about to go do he got stopped by someone, who i didnt know
but i listened in on the conversation because i was curious

"Hey my dude! is this the cafe you told me your mom owns?" the person spoke
"Yeah it is! its great to see you eve and ide love to talk but.. im on a date" he spoke softly
"goodness! sorry!! i didnt mean to interfere, have fun!!" the person called
"no need for apologies eve! im guessing ill be seeing you saturday?" he spoke, i could imagine his soft smile..
"yessir!! tell gem and impulse and the mystery date i said hi~" the person spoke
"will do, see you eve good luck saturdayyy!!" he called and soon came out the door next to me
"can i ask who that was?" i questioned
"oh! thats Everen we met in gym awhile back and we've grown close!" he smiled
"how close." i questioned
"jimmy, theyre non-binary im violently gay- youve got NOTHING to worry about" he chuckled
"good to know!" i  laughed and he joined

We took the scenic route back home
well- to the dorms
and i walked him back to his room, soon leaving for mine.
today was fun..
a small scare at the end-
but fun!
and peaceful..
just the two of us, talking, eating, drinking tea, everything about today was absolutely perfect
well-
i knew perfect didnt exist..
but i was pretty sure that today was..
pretty dang close..

(A/N: sorry this chapter is short, trying to pre-write, used the sprain and everen as a way to include a lil drama because i felt like it lol-
