{Scotts POV}

It had been a week of bedrest, and now it was Wednesday, ide be returning to school after 3 ish weeks, in the middle of the week. and dear Aeor i was nervous. 

Xornoth now was driving me to school as using crutches to walk to school, wouldnt be the most convenient- So i sat in his car, and dreaded the day to come. 

~When they got to the school~

"Whyyy in the middle of the weeek- im gonna be known as crutches kid who disappeared for 3 weeks!!" i yelled "welp not my fault your ex is psychotic" xornoth stated "eh- true" i said as he stepped out of the drivers side after parking and opened my door, carefully helping me out of the car. "Thanks xor." i said to him "No problem, call if you need anything?" he said "i will, have fun with your bird boyfriend-" i said crutching away "HES NOT MY BOYFRIEND!! A-AND YOUR A BIRD TOO!!" he yelled "Actually im an owl, sir, which is classified as a different type, of bird S.I.R." i said bitterly, laughing at him as he just scowled and walked away.

I crutched into the school and felt everyones eyes on me "Oh my god is that the new blondie again?" "Omg yeah i thought he like- became a homeschooled nerd again or something" "Or died!!" *laughing* I tried to ignore the girls comments, and it didnt take me long to find my group I tried to say something but i was somewhat nervous, it being my first time back  and most of them not knowing what had happened, and ALL of them were there..

{Jimmys POV}

we were confused seeing joel and shelbys eyes light up with pure joy as they gazed over the top of our heads towards the door, thats when we heard..

"Scott!!" which was shelby and "Hey dude! i forgot you were back in session today!" which was joel our heads flung around and scott let go of one of his crutches, awkwardly waving at us all "Hi scott! glad to see you back in school!!" I said smiling "Not like i had a choice, had to come back eventually" he said and laughed "Yeah but not your fault still-" joel said 

"Yeah true true" he said "I- what- what happened to you-?!" Katherine stuttered raising her voice "Oh uhh- i-" scott said, not knowing how to answer "Yeah i was wondering the same thing mate-" Oli said "Wait.. Is this why you havnt been here for 3 weeks?" False asks "Yes maam-" Scott said and smiled slightly "What exactly did happen S. Major?" Pix said (HEADCANNON: pix has called scott, S. Major sense he met him for unknown reasons to the others but its because he notices scotts name matches the person that last found the skull, so hes quite suspicious thinking scotts hiding something behind the eyepatch, which he is-)

"A- uh- a car happened-" He said "A FVCK!NG CAR?!" was katherines reaction "Yeahhhh- and a crazy ex-" Scott chuckled at katherines reaction "wait gem, fwhip is this what your fight was about the other day how 'the other was supposed to tell us' and stuff?" Pixl asks "Yeahh-" gem said "Alrighty then, well glad to see your healing S. Major, this is the rumor of you being in the hospital?" Pix once again stated "Yeah- i guess not really a rumor sense its true, but yknow" Scott said looking at pix "How longs your recovery time?" Katherine asks "Uhm- you guys wont be happy-" Scott said looking down "How. long." shelby said as more of a demand 

"18 weeks.." scott mumbled "18 WEEKS?!" joel yelled in shock "Yeahh- uhm- its alot to fix a damaged tendine, growth plate and a shattered bone- plus the scar and stiches healing" Scott said "That physical therapys boutta suck" lizzie said "Yeah, on one of the first days my nurse read my charts wrong and took me to P.T too early and uh- i tore my stiches which go all the way up my calf and down my ankle so uhm- that made my recovery a few weeks longer" Scott said awkwardly "How- i- fire her, for medical malpractice" I said glaring at him "Meh its not as bad as it seems" He said back 

"Not that bad doesnt match up with 18 weeks of recovery sir" fwhip said attempting to sound smart "It would be longer if i hadnt called gem soo- uh- yeah-" Scott said and laughed "Thank me later" gem said "Gem i already thanked you like 20000 times-" He said gaining laughs from the group "true-" gem replied 

*RING RING RING*

The bell went off "Give your stuff" joel said directed at scott, as the two had the same first period aswell as shelby. "Nonono! thats really not necessary!!" scott protested "please let us help you, youve been in the hospital for 2 weeks and then at home, in bed for one- soo please?" shelby begged "Fine, only because you guys wont shut up until i do-" Scott stated taking off his messenger bag from around his shoulders, gripping one of his crutches tightly. 

Joel then grabbed his bag, smiled and the three said bye and headed off to class stopping by their lockers, and grabbing out books and other stuff.

{Shelbys POV}

I liked having scott back, i think he may have gotten overwhelmed by the questions but it wasnt that many right? We all sat down in class, I, helping scott by taking his crutches and resting them on the floor of the History classroom "Hi Scott!" we heard another cheerful voice say, scott then turned around "Oh hey Xor!" we were surprised to hear him say "You alright so far?" Xornoth then asked leaving us shocked "Yeah! thanks for checking in! Now get to class, you cant afford being late again" scott said fluttering his head wings "alright, felt like i should check on you first though, ill check on you at lunch okay?" He said smiling at scott

scott returned the smile "Alright thanks Xor! Love you" scott said leaving us all shocked, seeming as they typically hate eachother "Alright, seeya later Scott, love you!" Xornoth said leaving the room "what. the. HELL?!" joel said shocked "Oh yeah, hes nice sometimes!" Scott said smiling "Im shocked" I said gaining laughter from scott and joel.

Class then started, something about ancient artifacts kept in temples and stuff? i wasnt really paying attention, i was kinda daydreaming, about having my best friend back and.. Katherine.. oh her gorgeous brown eyes, her black hair, the pinkish purple dress she was wearing.. she looked.. gorgeous.. "shelbs" 

oh how her hair was perfectly laid on her shoulders with "Shelbssss" her goregous brown streaks and the faded pinks underneath she had dyed onetime she was perfe "SHELBS!" Scott yelled "I- wha-? huh?" i looked over at him "the bell rang, lets go to second period girlie" Scott said "Oh! uh- okay! herbology?" i questioned "Yes maam!" scott said and smiled handing me my bag

I then took both mine and scotts bags and we headed to herbology after saying bye to joel, who had art. 

we went to herbology, then i walked scott to chemistry, then we went to lunch, where chaos lurked.

{Scotts POV}

Xornoth walked me into lunch, we were talking and listening to music together, he was being really sweet, i liked it. I saw my group and waved to them, they waved back welcoming me to the table and i left them all speechless when saying "Bye xor, love ya!" And smiled sitting down "Love you scott, and one last time, you sure your alright so far?" He asked/said "Yep! Ill text you if anything happens, i promise." i said smiling "Alright, love ya, promise youll text?" He said/asked "yesssss xor- i promise alright?" I said looking back at him "alright ill check back in during free period, seeya!"he said  "Byeeeeee" i replied looking back at my friends, smiling 

"HE CAN BE NICE?!" Gem yells "mmmmmmhm! hes actually a total sweetheart behind his tough guy act- i understand how that can be misleading-" i said laughing "I- but- i- what-? how?!" lizzie said, i laughed "Oh also!! Lizzie, Joel, howd your anniversary date go?" I said with a smile "It was perfect!!" Lizzie says "she forced me into watching legally blonde-" joel says "your just lucky i didnt keep pushing for mean girls" lizzie added, they gained laughter from the table and thats when..

"Hey major" joey said pulling my wing "FVCK!NG-!!! why?!" i said flinging my head back "Idk, maybe because your trying to take xorny from us." Joey said "So you pull my damn wing?! dude what the hell!! hes my brother and i had surgery, you expect him to be mean towards me?" I said rolling my eyes, he gripped my wing tightly in his hand "Listen to me major. You can have your friends. But your brother.. oh.. ohhhhh.. scott. hes. MINE. i have him in the palm of my hand!" He said, ripping a small yet painful tear in my wing "GOD-damnit joey..!" i said, my voice breaking on the verge of tears 

"YOU GET IT?! You can have your little nerd proxy but your brother.. Is MINE." he said, ripping my wing again, even further down, a dark crimson color trailed through my feathers and dripped onto the floor. "I... yes.. i understand joey.." i said, not in the mood for a fight "Thats what i like to hear.. remember that, kay?" he said, all i could do was hum in response, holding back tears as i looked shamefully towards the table putting my head down "scott.. what did he.." joel stopped, seeing the dark crimson creeping through the soft white feathers that wasnt in anybody elses view.

It left them confused as joel, then stood up and ran around the table towards me gripping my wing very gently in his hands. "Fvck.." he cursed under his breath, they watched as joel drew his hand back, now covered in the thick crimson liquid i heard a few gasps and lizzies eyes just went wide "Shelbs, cmon, you still know how to mend wings?" Joel said "Its been awhile but i can try for sure." Shelby said, frowning. Thats when fwhip and katherine walked in, they were on stage crew and were in a meeting before lunch, and they werent expecting to walk in and see a mystery. Coated in blood.

Shelby had stood up, walking over to me and joel "what happened?!" katherine yelled "joey happened." shelby said "do you still have your medic stuff gem?" shelby asks "mhm" gem hummed in response sliding it across the table. 

{3rd person POV}

Shelby then began to stich up the crying scotts wing.

Joey laughed manically at what he did from across the room as xornoth heard scotts sobs and went over, leaving joey, sausage left with xornoth. 

Shelby got scotts wing stiched and bandaged, and scott went the rest of the day in pain from his ankle and torn wing, people were helping him within their friend group.

Mean girls and guys and peeps who dont identify kept making comments about scott, his return and the crutches, and now the bandaged wing.

Xornoth offered to call their mom and bring them home,

but scott refused not wanting to be a burden

Then the end of the day arose, and they went home.

{Owens POV}

"Mommm any word from scott or X?" I complained/asked her. "Not a word dear, they should be home soon!" She replied cheerfully when we heard the door unlock "speak of the devils" lauren said laughing.

(QUICKLY CLEARING SOMETHING UP: OWEN DOESNT GO TO SCOTT AND XORNOTHS SCHOOL YET, HE GOES TO A PRIVATE HIGHSCHOOL FOR LLAMA HYBRIDS THAT EXISTS FOR NO REASON AT ALL- (ahem anyways, he is about to transfer as their mum cannot afford the payments, people didnt know scott and xornoth had more siblings.)

Xornoth then opened the door and scott ran inside (as fast as he could on crutches) hugging our mum "Oh dear, what happened?! why are you crying?!" she asked, shocked. Scott didnt use words, he just painfully flapped his wing and covered his face with his head wings. "W.H.O." I said sternly "Someone by the callings of.. Joey Graceffa." xornoth sneered

"that- the parrot?" Lauren said "yes, lauren the parrot." xornoth replied "I swear to FVCK!NG AEOR OR EVEN DAMN EXOR WHEN I SEE HIM IM GOING TO-!!" i got cut off "Owen Lyric Major. Language." Our mother said sternly looking at scotts injured wing. "sorry..." i muttered 

"its alright darling, just not that hard of swearing okay?" Our mum said "Okay okay" i replied  "I see you have stiches put in.. whooo?" our mom trailed off "j..oel.. and shelby.." scott murmured "Their good friends arnt they?" Our mom said "mmmhmm.." scott hummed, why dont you go to your room and rest okay? 

"okay.." scott muttered and xornoth followed him upstairs and used the safe word to our mum (which we have multiple of) for: "Ill be back" and the other one  "Im checking on them" our mother nodded and xornoth and scott walked upstairs. 

I began talking to lauren and after dinner we all sat down and watched a movie together, we had cookies and ice cream with a trey of salty foods aswell, to break up the sweet. It ended as a peaceful night, scott fell asleep on xornoths shoulder and lauren fell asleep in my lap, i leaned on our mother and fell asleep, and we all ended up staying and resting on the couch that night, giving all of us a well deserved rest..
