Dear Reader, 

You have come a long way, reading through these sad, terrifying, heart-warming and ancient stories. 

As those of us who experienced these events, we commend you for reading them with the patience you did. Your bravery knows no bounds. 

As the emperors of these kingdoms, we wish to send one final, much happier tale your way. 

One that ends peacefully.

Katherine zigzagged giddily through her empire, her footsteps creating bright, blooming love-in-the-mist flowers of different shades of red and pink. As she arrived at the edge of the empire, she pulled a vine and swung around the sky, laughing.

Shelby flew through the forest on the motherwolf, her pack following suit as they hurried along the edge of the river. They paused at the edge and she dismounted, her wolves bowing their head to drink from the river. Shelby raised her head and waved to the sun, her happiness resonating.

Pixl crouched by his llamas, untying them. He turned and tugged his hat on, smiling at his empire lying below the sand dune. He hurried over to Kelpie and Kelsie, who waved their arms and joined him. The three siblings smiled and nodded at their friends Halo and Skeppy, who would lead 'til they returned, and set off on their way.

Joey rolled over and smiled up and the sky, his eyes closed. When he opened them, he saw the jungle and the clouds swimming above him. He closed his eyes until a leaf drifted onto his face. He sneezed and sat up, twirling the leaf happily between his fingers. 

////

Gem patted Gandalf's gray fur, gazing into his golden eyes; so much wisdom filled his gaze. How much was there he knew that she didn't? Violet flew past them and gave a loud squeak. Gem caught her and smiled.

fWhip gazed out the window of his house, watching as salmon assistants carried supplies to the worksite. He smiled to himself. He pet the three of his pups, walking outside and feeling the sun glow into his face. He was happy. 

////

Sausage opened his door and Bubbles raced outwards. As he walked down the path, he saluted the general, heading for the path connecting him to Gilded Helanthia. As he surveyed the construction of the connector, he spotted his daughter fluttering around with her wing and elytra, He waved at her and his wife, Pearl.

Pearl tied her hair back into a ponytail, tying it up with a yellow ribbon. She smiled at her daughter, who was flying outside the window. She unleashed Bingo and flew to join her child. She gazed at the buildings being constructed along the connection. She smiled at her husband, across the construction, her face glowing. 

////

Lizzie watched her eggs carefully, smiling as she switched off the sea pickle and closed the nursery door. She swam through the water and pressed her back to the door in bliss. Her three babies were faring well. 

////

Joel glanced up from his painting, watching the sun glowing through the window. He stood up and gazed outside. After a moment, he spotted Lizzie waving to him. He rolled his eyes and hurried down to the water's edge. 

////

Jimmy watched Kaeri fly around Rivendell. He was so proud of his adopted child. Scott's people had taught her well. He watched the snow fall outside his window and his mouth curved up slightly. He was happy that she knew what to do now. 

////

Scott paced in front of his bedroom. He was excited and nervous. The doctor opened the door and motioned for him to come. He entered and his hand flew to his mouth. Scott felt tears of happiness burning his eyes.

Xornoth sat up, rubbing his eyes. The first this he registered was his brother hugging him tightly. Xornoth froze before hugging back, feeling his heart explode with love. 

Life would bite them. 

Leave scars. 

People would be nasty. 

Life would change and grow and darken.

But now, at least....

This was perfect.
