"three days" Allison spoke handing you a cup of coffee

"that's what five said to us" you replied

"the old bastard did mention the apocalypse come to think of it, he just left out the part about how soon" Klaus slurred from the floor

"but can we trust him? i don't know if you noticed, but fives a little-" Allison gestured whistling

"out little psycho" Klaus retorted

"Yeah well, that's understandable given the fact he had to live on his own through an entire apocalypse with a mannequin to keep him company" you defended five

"he was pretty convincing and if he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse, those two lunatics wouldn't be chasing him" Luther agreed with you making you smile to him

"that's why they were after him?" Diego spoke as you nodded to him from behind the bar

"what did five even see?" Allison spoke to you and Luther as you both looked down

"uh... apparently, we all fought together against whoever was responsible" he looked up "okay so here's the plan, we go through dads research"

"wait what?" Allison questioned,

"hold on" "wait a tick wait for a tick" "Woah Woah Woah" you heard echo across the room

"what actually happened the first time around?

you and Luther looked to each other and sighed "five found us all dead. poof gone, dead as a doornail, apparently, we all banded together to defeat whoever it was destroying the world" you spoke for Luther making them all look to you in shock. you remembered fives words about you and Diego and started to fiddle with your bracelet which caught his gaze on you.

"Okay, so we need to figure this out" Diego spoke walking closer to you behind the bar resting his arm on your shoulders.

"is it just us?" "its everybody" "in the house" "the whole planet?" "not outside the house, everyone died" Klaus, allision and Diego began to question you and Luther before you heard Vanya come into the room

"hey," she spoke softly as a man trailed behind her getting a good look at you all "what's going on?"

"its a family matter" Allison spoke to Vanya gesturing to the man

" a family matter, so of course you couldn't bother to include me, but you invited parker instead who has only been here for about 2 minutes" Vanya argued looking to you making you frown, Diego noticed and pulled you tighter to him comforting you

"no it's not like that we were-" Luther started

"don't let me interrupt" Vanya began walking away before Allison tried to follow her. the man behind Vanya looked to you and gave you a wink making you feel uncomfortable, Diego saw the wink and step away from you to the man but you put your hand on his chest shaking your head. Klaus sat next to the bar looking at the two of you closely

"So are you guys like a thing now, can't help but notice how awfully romantic you two are behaving right now, it's a bit tragic considering we are all going to die in 3 days am i right?" Klaus laughed making you and Diego look at each other with a frown.

"im going to find Vanya and explain" Allison spoke

"no wait there isn't time, we need to figure out what causes the apocalypse, now there are loads of possibilities, but im thinking this is about the mood right?" Luther starts

"here we go about the moon again" you huffed making Diego smirk

"hold on, hold the phone, we all died fighting this thing the first time around. remember?"

"Klaus shockingly has a point, what gives us a win this time?"

"well i mean, we have fives guidance this time and the fact we know its going to happen" you spoke

"this time we will have the full force of the umbrella academy that we need" Luther spoke "and parker of course" he added as you saluted to him smiling

"well, im going after hazel and cha-cha" Diego spoke picking up his jacket pulling you along with him, Luther looked to you but you mouthed that you would talk to him. Diego pulled you back to his room and sat on his bed with a slump.

"were you leaving something out about that story five told you" he looked up and met your eyes.

"well, he said that he found me dead reaching out for you, that's how he knew me when we met as he saw this bracelet you got me and put two and two together." she sighed frowning

"i won't let you die parker"

"it already happened, Diego and its gonna happen again if we don't actually do something, listen i want to kill Hazel and Cha cha too but don't you think survival is more important at this very moment, you lent down on your knees cupping his face as he sat on the bed. he nodded to you frowning. he tried to lean down to tie his shoe but was met from slight pain from the scar that you healed.

"you want me to tie them?" you smiled as he nodded, as you did you healed his pain hearing Klaus walk into the room

"Hey Diego- Oh my god i didn't see anything!" Klaus shouts as you and Diego looked at each other in confusion

"Klaus!" you called to him as he peaked his head around the door

"oh thank god, i thought you were on your knees for a different reason, thought i was going to have to drown in holy water for a bit there" he joked making you rush to your feet and avoiding Diego's gaze as you knew he was smirking at his brother.

"i need you to tie me up" Klaus cheered whilst leading you both to his dad's office "you know last time i was sober was that roaring good time when those freaks had me tied up in the motel room"

"wow you are one twisted bone head"

"why? you're the one whos always like. 'Klaus you need to get sober bro'" he mocked Diego making you laugh

"There are better ways to get clean" Diego pointed

"Not for me, no, i need you both to take away my options"

you both managed to tie Klaus up pretty tight so he couldn't get out as he started to mope slightly

"that's it, tighter and higher" Klaus exclaimed

"if i see a boner, im out" Diego joked

"it's fine, im sure you would much rather be doing this to parker, but you are stuck with me" Klaus smiled to you in as you leaned against the desk shaking your head at him

"end of the world and you wanna get sober all of the sudden, don't get me wrong, good on you but i would have thought you would want to take every drug on the planet"

"Trust me i thought about it, but there is something i need to do and the pesky thing doesn't seem to work unless im sober"

"is this about conjuring the one you lost? what was her name?" Diego asked tightening the last knot. Klaus froze for a second

"his name was dave" you got up closer Klaus and put your hand son his shoulders finally being able to help his emotions making his heart feel lighter, he smiled timidly at you "we soldiered together in the mountain of the crouching beast" he reminisced

"well dave must have been a very special person to put up with all your shit"

"Yeah, he was kind and strong and vulnerable and .." he paused "beautiful and i was foolish enough to follow him all the way to the front line" he whispered

"you fought in the shit?" Diego smirked

"oh yeah baby" Klaus smiled

"did you kick ass?" you joked making Klaus calmer

"How did they let you do that?" Diego commented

"let me? war couldn't take enough bodies please" you all chuckled at his behaviour

"i hope you can see him again Klaus" you whispered massaging his shoulders. Diego and you went to walk out of the room before Klaus called you both

"ah shit" he whined

"what?"

"i need to pee" Klaus frowned

"Really?" you huffed

you managed to re-tie Klaus after struggling to get him to sit down in the chair with him whining. Diego picked up a bucket and shoved it in front of Klaus

"this is for next time, puke, pee whatever you need. multipurpose you see?" Diego taunted it in front of his face before dropping it to the ground grabbing your hand and walking out of the room hearing Klaus scream from behind you both

"what now?" you commented holding onto his hand tight walking down the stairs. he looked to his side and saw grace humming

"mum?" he questioned walking closer to her

"oh hello Diego dear, and parker so wonderful to see you again" she smiled to you both

"how are you.. walking around" he let go of your hand to look at graces stitched arm

"one foot in front of the other, why? how do you do it?" she joked. you looked to Diego in confusion as he scrunched his face

"mum i... what's the last thing you remember?"

"oh let's see.. march 21st the sunset was 7:33 PM, the moon was waxing crescent-"

"grace that was over a week ago" you smiled to her in confusion

"do you remember anything else?" Diego added, you noticed graces face change slightly looking to behind you both, you turned your head slightly and saw pogo walk away before looking back

"no, i suppose that's odd, i wonder what the weather is like today, it would be nice to go to the park"

"dad never let you off the grounds"

"Your father isn't here anymore" she smiled down to you and Diego

"you can do anything you want now grace" you empathised to here making her smile widely at you

you and Diego linked arms with Grace walking down the path in the park under the starlight.

"dad was wrong for keeping you locked up for all those years, i should have said something, we all should have"

"There is something else that needs to be said to you both" grace spoke

"pogo and i, we've been lying, lying to all of you"

"So are you guys like a thing now, can't help but notice how awfully romantic you two are behaving right now, it's a bit tragic considering we are all going to die in 3 days am i right?" Klaus laughed making you and Diego look at each other with a frown.

"im going to find Vanya and explain" Allison spoke

before you could speak blue light emerged from the top of the bar and Five appeared cradling onto a suitcase

"Jesus" Allison exclaimed as Klaus groaned at the light

"you guys, am i still high it do you see him too?"

"five where have you been" Luther scoffed as five started to fall from the table as you all reached over to help him

"are you alright?" you spoke looking over the bar watching Allison and Luther hold him upright

"who did this" Luther commented

"irrelevant" five mumbled grabbing the coffee from Allison's hand and chugging it at full speed. "so the apocalypse is in three days, the only chance we have to save our world is, well us"

"the umbrella academy" Luther spoke making you clear your throat "and parker" he added making you smile in victory

"Yeah, but with me obviously, so if you all don't get your sideshow acts together and get over yourselves, were screwed, who cares if dad messed us up? are we gonna let that define us, no, to give us a fighting chance to see next week, over come back with a lead" five spoke pointing hand a piece of paper to Allison "i know who is responsible for the apocalypse this is who we have to stop
