Parker's P.O.V.

"When is it supposed to happen?, this apocalypse " Luther spoke as you sat beside five on Diegos bed

"i can't give you the exact hour, but.. from what i could gather we have four days left" five softly spoke

"four days!" you spoke shocked

"Why didn't you say something sooner? we could have banded together and helped you try to stop this thing, that's why you said that you needed parker, as well as the rest of us" Luther added looking to you

"for the record you already tried" five spoke, making you remember his sights

"what do you mean?" Luther asked

"i found all of you, and Parker, your bodies" he mumbled

"we die" Luther spoke with a shocked expression

"horribly, you were all together trying to stop whoever it was that ends the world" five added, you started to touch the bracelet that Diego gave to you remembering fives words. five pulled out the glass eye showing it to Luther explaining the situation to him Before Diego burst in the room in anger

"piece of shit" he spat "do you have any idea what you just did" he ran forwards but Luther grabbed him before he could launch on five, you got up and got closer to him but glared at five shouting at Luther to let him go

"Diego, what happened?" you spoke softly as Luther let him down causing him to look to you in sadness and anger

"patch, she's gone" he paused as you stepped back in shock "our brother has been pretty busy since he got back, he was in the middle of that shootout at griddy's and then gimble brothers after the guys in masks attacked the academy and short Parker, Looking for him" he spat pointing at five

"none of which is nay of your concern"

"it is now, not only did they shoot parker but they also just killed my friend" Diego sighed looking to you

"they work for my former employer called the handler, she sent them. to kill and stop me" he added "then soon as Diego's friend got in their way, well fair game" five looked at him

"and now they are my fair game, and im going to see to it that they pay" he began to walk out the room with you following him out

"that would be a mistake, they have killed far more dangerous people than the both of you"

"yeah we'll see about that" he shouted as we walked further from the gym.

you both jumped into the car as he began to hit the steering wheel

"Hey!" you shouted "calm down!" you demanded changing his emotions "okay, i know ow you're angry right now, so am i, but if you're gonna do this you're gonna do it the right way okay" he sighed at you " listen im going to help you im not letting you do this alone"

"but your shoulder-" he started

"is fully healed, and more reasons for me to join you to get my own back" you smirked "now, chop-chop, we need to go back to the academy if you want to go get your good knives" you pointed to the road, he smirked at your demanding and authoritative behaviour and started to drive.

you both walked into Diego's room, he started to pull a silver box from under his bed checking through his knives picking which one to use whilst you looked in his wardrobe noticing a leather jacket which belonged to him, you pulled it from his closet and put it on checking yourself out in his mirror and nodding slightly. you turned to him and sat on his bed that you shared the day before whilst he put a knife into his pocket.

"parker" he spoke softly making you look to him "I need to know, that if i get close to dying, or need to be healed to prevent that, that you won't do anything, that you will run until you get to safety okay?" he questioned

"im not going to leave you Diego" you stood up abruptly looking into his eyes, we are a team remember, you dint get me this bracelet for nothing right? if you need help i will--" you stopped as his arms pulled your frame into him embracing you into a deep kiss which made you flustered whilst returning it.

he pulled away slowly resting his head against your red tinted one. "I've already lost patch, i can't lose you to okay?" he whispered looking at you in detail

"Diego i-"

"parker, please" he begged

"okay" you smiled sceptically knowing it was a lie, but it eased his emotions. his lips met yours once again for a split second before he walked out of the room leaving you stunned and your heart beating rapidly. you felt cold from his loss of touch against your skin.

the shook it off slightly before running down the stairs to catch up to him before you noticed Klaus following you both to the car.

you sat in the car noticing Klaus's saddened exterior, you tried to help ease his emotions but he resisted. "you okay" Diego spoke as Klaus took yet another swig of alcohol "wow this is a first, my brother Klaus is silent, last time you were this quiet we were 12, ran down the stairs wearing graces heels and tripped over and broke your jaw" you smiled at the story "how long was it wired shut again?"

"8 weeks" Klaus mumbled looking out to the rain

"8 glorious weeks of bliss" Diego tried to lighten the situation before Klaus sat up

"hey, just.. just drop me off here" he muttered, Diego nodded and pulled to the curb as you both looked out watching Klaus get out the car leaving you and Diego alone.

"Why didn't you calm his emotions," he asked looking to you

"i tried, a person's emotions can only be changed when they themselves are willing and open to change" you spoke as you both got out pf the car following him from a distance when you got into a building you saw a bar and ex-VETs looking at you both. Diego went to Klaus and held his shoulder

"just go away please" Klaus cried

"not until you talk to us"

"is that a threat" Klaus mumbled

"Hey guys" a man behind us all started to speak "this bar, it's for VETs only"

"i am a VET" Klaus spoke in a knowing tone

"here we go" you muttered

"really? where did you serve?" the man laughed to himself

"None of your business"

"you've got balls coming in here pretending you're one of us" the man's emotions started to radiate anger around the room, you tried to calm it before the situation continued but he also resisted it

"what is it with dudes and their emotions, girls, they are so easy to change their emotions, you guys are too stubborn" you spoke louder making him look to you in confusion and making Diego laugh silently

"oh i have every right to be here, just like you," he turned around to meet the man "ASSHOLE" Klaus spat, the man came closer to him before Diego stepped in

"whoa whoa, hey slow down marine, all right? my brothers just had a few too many, let's just call it a day"

"as long as you apologise" the man added making Klaus laugh

"im sorry, he's sorry we are all sorry, so are we good?" Diego spoke

"I wanna hear him say it" the man pointed

" no he's right Diego, he's right, id like to apologise, that you are depriving some village of their Idiot!" he spat.

the man swung for Klaus but he ducked just in time. Diego started to take on some of the guys before leading you all out of the building. you started to cause pain to a few of the men shouting on your way out "im sorry! thank you for your service!" you ran out clutching onto Diego's hand making him laugh at you as you all jumped back into the car speeding off.

Klaus started to laugh in the car at the situation

"you got a big mouth you know that" Diego looked blankly at him

"oh wow, what was truly shocking revelation Diego" Klaus spoke whilst starting to grab drugs from his pocket

"everything is a big joke to you, right? would you stop it" Diego spat snatching it from his hands and chucking it out of the window making Klaus strop "why are you putting this shit in your body, check this out" he started to pat his stomach "my body is a temple, all that shit you do, it's just a weakness"

"oh wow beautiful, is that why parker loves your body so much" he tilted his head to you laughing at himself "this weakness feels good" he pulled out some more pills before diego snatched it from him again taking into account his comment about his body and you

"whats going on with you huh" Diego shouted hitting him in the head

"don't hit me asshole" Klaus shouted back

"you cannot tell me everything is okay, me and parker saw you in there and you were crying like a baby"

"because i lost someone, the only person i have ever loved more than myself, cheers!" he moped popping a pill into his mouth making you look to him in worry and comforting him slightly touching his shoulder which he smiled to you

"well, you are luckier than most, when you lose someone, at least you can see them whenever you want" Diego added making you all frown before he turned his front mirror in the car noticing one of the men that kidnapped Klaus.

"that's our man" Diego started the engine and followed the blue car

the three of you sat in the car watching the room from the window.

"bingo" Diego spoke

"you do know that killing these people is not going to make you feel any better" Klaus stated swigging the alcohol

"yeah, but when its done im going to sleep like a baby" Diego smirked

"with parker" Klaus raised his eyebrow at the two of you

Diego looked up to the room seeing a man leave the door "stay in the car, both of you"

"what are you talking about? this guy tortured me"

"i have a plan" you followed Diego out of the car

"parker, what are you doing, he said stay here," Klaus said

"yeah, i don't listen to him"

"you will be when he is pinning you down and--" you cut him off slamming the door running up to Diego on the stairs as Klaus followed you from behind

"so what exactly is the plan here big guy" Klaus spoke behind Diego making him turn to you both in a frown,

"i told you both to wait in the car" he looked to you

"but you also told me that licking a nine-volt battery would give me pubes" Klaus shuddered

"We were 8" Diego glared at him "for once in your life listen to me okay, go back to the car, and if i don't come back I'm probably dead that's when you need to call for backup okay" Klaus nodded leaving you both "you two parker" he spoke but you ignored him looking into the room threw the peephole. he shook his head and sighed at you before kicking down the door noticing no one was there. you heard a car start to speed rushing behind Diego to see the masked people speed off shooting up at you both. Diego grunted deeply as a bullet hit him, you went to pull him back but Klaus got to him first

"see you used to think i was an idiot~" Klaus joked

"i still think you're an idiot" Diego laughed before running down the stairs to the car you came in. you looked to the car and noticed the wheels were slashed making the two guys grunt. you walked to Diego and held onto his shot arm heeling it fully, he looked down to you and smiled

"i guess being around all you hargreeves is making my powers stronger, though im gonna need you all to calm down as i don't think i can heal anything more than a bullet wound" you joked as Klaus opened the door to an icecream van ushering you both to get in.

Klaus put the icecream music on as he sped down the road waving to Luther and five as we passed them.

"go faster" Diego shouted from the front seat as you held on tight to there two chairs. you heard bullets start to fire at the van making Klaus harshly break. Diego caught hold of you and put your body onto his lap before you flew out of the front window.

for a moment, time felt like it had stopped

and when you opened your eyes you saw Diego looking down at you from a close distance "hi" he spoke

"hi" you smiled, as Klaus jumped out from the van shouting for you both to get out. you jumped of Diego's lap and held his hand running to the car Luther was driving. you all hoped in you being in the middle between Klaus and Diego

"is everyone good, no one needs healing right!" you exclaimed breathlessly from running.
