Life is hard on the heart.

It comes together then tears apart.

Leaving slashes on the skin.

The air, the oxygen is running thin.

I'm fighting to stay alive. 

As life is a constant war.

Weak and pale, it's a miracle I've survived.

I cannot say the pain will end, 

But I can say I'll be your friend. 

Stay with you until the closing of time, 

Help you up when you fall, 

I'll be your partner in crime.

Let the tears fall if they need to.

Always remember I believe in you.

Although it is simple to say, "I'm here for you"

Some might not believe it, 

But take me seriously now, I'm begging you too.

You have the world behind you, trust me. 

It is the truth.
