Fool's Gold (poem)
You weren't who I thought you were.
I should've trusted my instincts.
The sweetness --I fear-- was just to deter.
You only cared so much, I fell in your trap.
You seemed so warm and friendly
But I felt so cold.
Maybe that's because your shine,
Was only fool's gold.
You know that feeling when you realize that your friend doesn't really care about you AT ALL. It sucks. -Jess
