I'm Afraid....

I'm in a room all alone, 

Yet not alone at all. 

There are voices in my ear, 

Ringing down and down  the hall.

There's always someone with you, 

Whether good or bad. 

But, what if your mind goes crazy? 

Everyone saying "You've gone Mad!"

Paranoia grows and you're always aware. 

Anxiety soon adds to the pile of scare.

I'm Afraid. You're Afraid. 

Wait... you're not? 

Well you should be...

As he's calling your name. 

RESIST!

RESIST!

Try with all your strength! 

PULL!

PULL!

Get to the light, walk the length.

RUN!

RUN!

YOU CAN DO THIS!

just calm your mind, settle down. 

Hear the ocean waves, its a gentle sound. 

Remember your goal...

Reach for the stars,

Reach for the light, 

Though it seems far. 

Afraid! Afraid! 

Its okay, it's human.

but ALWAYS have courage, 

there's no need to be Afraid.

But it's okay to be Afraid.
