25: Back to School
Previously...
"Well, once we're all feeling, better, would you guys maybe want to spend a day at the beach? I think it'd be pretty fun, and an excellent way to unwind, what with the end of Summer #2." The boys laughed. (where you live, it's summer pretty much all the time).
And now...
When you came home, your family fretted over you so much you almost wished they'd stop, but you still liked it. Your brat of a brother bothered you less, especially if you acted sad in front of him. Despite protests from your parents you still returned to school. After all it has been so long since you were actually in class you were worried you might've missed out on a lot and would rather not have to make it up.
After many, many disasters happening in your life, it felt so surreal to be back in school. People certainly bothered you less, but Jackson's eye brought a great deal of attention. Teachers are concerned and offer a smaller workload to him, while in the hallways you could see people whispering. You didn't care, and you and the boys headed to lunch.
"So," you announced as you sat atop the auditorium walls, "how's everyone feeling?"
"Fine," Michael smiled (WOAHHHHHH).
"Could be better," Tyler admitted, AJ nodded.
"SEEms like I'm doing ok." You punched Jackson's shoulder for that.
Lunch passed by incredibly quickly, and the five of you were stuck in chemistry (I don't remember the schedule and I'm too lazy to look ok). Thank goodness you had a substitute today. You all goofed off, but actually reached a serious issue. Jackson pulled you aside, and said "Joey, Archie and Mina are back." You looked confused for a second, before you remembered.
"Those assholes from the movie theatre are back? How? Why?"
"I'm not sure, but it'd be a good idea to not annoy them again. I mean, d-don't get me wrong, you could totally take care of them, but I'd rather just avoid a conflict. My depth perception isn't so hot right now," he indicated to his eyepatch.
"Got it, and of course of course. I'll be sure to avoid them. Thanks for telling me." You hugged him, but unbeknownst to you, you and Jackson were getting major side eyes from the other boys, and their conversations had stopped completely. Jackson noticed, and he glared right back at the boys, sticking his tongue out.
When you came home, you thought something was off, but you ignored it. You were heading up the stairs when you thought you heard a noise. You paused, but eventually you brushed it off and continued to your room. This time, you definitely heard a noise, and it was coming from your room. Your anxiety mounting, you threw open your door, only to find...
(A/N: I'm very annoying aren't I. Hahahahah. Love ya🙃
