Fighting the Avengers
(A/N)So, I just realized. New York in the Fantasyverse universe(the one we're in) is actually a rather small town. This causes problems. I'm going off this weird theory that says this New York is a weird side dimension that has its own proper universe, but it is kinda halfway between the two dimensions. So sometimes it's in the Fantasyverse universe, sometimes it isn't. Confused? Yeah, I thought so, it's a little confusing... (Colyn's POV)
I landed in a relatively nearby park, setting the helicopter on the ground, and holding it there. After a few seconds, I think they realized they weren't going anywhere, and the helicopter blades stopped spinning. Emma and Secilia landed soon after, having left the rest of the Avengers in the proverbial dust. Or as Onyx would put it, left them lost in the trees.
"Stop," Mr. Star Spangled Banner shouted, jumping out of the helicopter.
"Relax Mr. Leader dude," Emma said, tossing him his shield. "Here you go, I retrieved it on the flight over."
He caught it with a confused look on his face. "Just come with us peacefully."
"Why?" Emma asked. "Well, actually, I already know why, but why exactly do you-" she paused, making eye contact with me. "Some Fury dude wants us to join the Avengers."
Secilia sighed loudly. "You have got to be kidding me! I thought he'd learned his lesson after the last time he tried this."
"He's tried this before?" I asked, glancing at Secilia, who was storming around in a circle, a green glow beginning to surround her as she muttered.
"You could say that," She snapped, glaring at American Flag person. "What is the meaning of this gas planeted, idiotic, inane, and a few other choice words meaning idiotic, plan?"
He blinked a few times, staring at her. "What do you mean?"
"He doesn't know, only that calm lady does," Emma said helpfully.
"Nevermind. Black Widow, I believe you know what I'm talking about!" Secilia snapped. "Your leader dude is Captain America, the white and red suited flying one is Falcon, I'm guessing you already got Thor, and Stark, angry dude is the Hulk, archer guy is Hawkeye, and the lady is Black Widow, I've run into her a few times," Secilia explained.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Black Widow said smoothly.
"Yeah right," Secilia muttered. "You're the foremost assassin in the country, and one of Fury's top spies. Somehow, I doubt you're out of the loop."
"Colyn, if this dissolves into battle, you're going to have to handle Hulk, you're the only one who isn't going to be crushed. My armor is strong enough to resist me being killed, but I can't stand up to him while simultaneously fighting other people." Emma sent.
I nodded once, keeping an eye on Hulk.
"With all due respect, I believe you have overestimated how much I know," Black Widow said.
Secilia snorted. "Tell that to my friend. She read your mind."
"I don't like mind readers," Stark said, descending in what was probably supposed to be an intimidating manner. It wasn't that intimidating, even if he was a few inches taller then me.
"Too bad," Emma said, grinning disarmingly at him. "I don't like stuck up people, yet here I am."
"Emma," I warned. "Be nice."
She frowned at me, sticking her tongue out at me, I returned the gesture, then turned back to Stark.
"We need you to come with us." Captain America insisted.
"No thanks," Secilia replied. "I'd rather not have to deal with Fury, and I have a feeling that Fury doesn't want his precious servers destroyed when I have a bad day."
"Hey Secilia, you want to catch that Senhir while we 'go in for questioning'?" Emma asked. "We've got this, you catch it, then get home. We'll contact you when we have more information."
Secilia sighed. "Fine, be safe."
I snorted. "They can't hurt us."
"Um, excuse me, we're over here," Stark said.
"We all know your ego is the size of Jupiter, Stark, we don't need more reminders." Secilia sniped.
"Ooh, burn!" Hawkeye said.
Secilia glared at him, effectively shutting him up. "If you don't mind, I have stuff to do." She turned invisible, probably flying away.
Emma concentrated for a moment, probably sending the coordinates of the Senhir to Secilia.
"Where did she go?" Stark asked harshly.
"Not telling you," Emma sing-songed.
"Emma," I scolded. "Don't egg them on." By this point, the Avengers had spread out and were now surrounding us with a loose semi-circle.
"We'll give you one more chance, come with us peacefully or we will use force." Captain America said.
"Here, you take one of us down, and we'll come with you peacefully," Emma said, adopting a more confident posture.
"Don't hurt them too badly," I cautioned Emma.
"Same to you," she replied, grinning at me.
"Just try and avoid causing injuries that could cause them to bleed out before they get to a hospital," I added.
She huffed. "I know how to not kill people."
"Mhm," I half agreed. Not that I didn't trust her, which I do.
"Excuse me, did you just say that if we fight you, you'll come peacefully?" Hawkeye asked. "You're just kids, this'll be easy."
I bit back a smile, glancing at Emma. She was clearly hiding a smile as well, and we both glanced to Thor, who looked really nervous.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" Emma asked, grinning.
Captain America went first, throwing a laughably slow punch at my face. I dodged easily, and spotted Black Widow going after my sister. I was in my superhero outfit, but my sword and shield were still in storage. I summoned the sword while Cap continued trying to hit me, and unsheathed it. I lunged at him, hitting his shield and driving him back. Neither weapon showed signs of stress, neither one gaining a notch or scratch. His circular shield was about the same size as the ones my sister and I sparred with, and I used it to my advantage, flying back, hovering a little ways off the ground.
Iron Man came out of nowhere, crashing into me, apparently trying to tackle me to the ground. I didn't flinch, remaining hovering in place while he tried in vain to get me to move. The Hulk reached up, grabbing my ankles and trying to pull me down too. I waited a few seconds more, then shot upwards so fast Stark went spinning head over heels in the air, and Hulk lost his grip after about ten feet. Falcon came after me at this point, throwing some sort of feather thing at me. It shattered harmlessly against my chest, and he stopped in mid air, staring at me in confusion.
I snuck a glance down and spotted my sister fighting with Black Widow, while dodging arrows being shot at her by Hawkeye, and the occasional shield from Captain America. She had the grounded ones minus Hulk, I had the flyers and Hulk.
"Come down here and fight!" Hulk yelled, a shockwave of energy throwing Falcon into a spin. He clearly couldn't fly too well, so I stabilized him before darting down and meeting Hulk head on. From this point on, it was a battle of strength. The energy beams and occasional bullets stopped coming at me, and the fight with Emma stopped, everyone surrounding the Hulk and I as we wrestled for control.
I beat the Hulk. I wrestled him into the ground, holding him there while he calmed down. When he calmed down, he turned into a relatively normal human. If someone who turns into a green rage monster is normal in any way.
"Here, we'll go with you, but we're dragging a few friends along." I said, standing up and brushing myself off. Emma smirked at me, disappearing. I trusted her to pick a few of our friends. Even if there was a big chance those friends would be A, female, and B, probably able to kick Stark's backend. "Just to keep you honest."
(A/N) Hi! I guess you'll have to wait and see who Emma brings back! Bye!
