"So this is how you spend your days in the big apple?" Jessie looks around nodding her head, Zuri is on the playground while I'm doing my homework. Jessie has just moved to New York and I told her it was a big mistake unless your going here for college since LA is where they find talent for movie stars or tv stars. But Jessie being Jessie won't listen.

"I also go to parties on the weekends or go to clubs when I can" finishing the last of my Math homework "now, how's the auditioning going?" She's silent sipping her coffee, making a clicking noise "thought so"

"New York" she opens her arms out "is where dreams come true"

"Emily!" Looking over, Zuri comes over smiling holding out this blue colored flyer "They're having a Little Miss Apple beauty pageant" taking the flyer checking it out "Could I be in it?

"Oh no" Jessie looks at me and Zuri "listen Zuri, beauty pageants are sexist and demeaning to women"

"She lost four" I whisper to her having Zuri giggle while Jessie gives me a look.

"Was it because of her acting?" She asks

I let out a laugh while Jessie gasps placing a hand over her heart "No!" Jessie shakes her head no "You are very rude"

"Ignore her" waving my hand to Jessie looking at Zuri "Sure, Jessie may not like beauty pageants since she hates losing but I find them a great experience" motioning to the playground "now, why don't you go and play and don't put any buckets on your head"

She nods her head "Thanks Emily!"

"I can't believe" Jessie shakes her head at me as I texted Amber telling her how Zuri is going to need a dress, Amber immediately texts me back all excited "your letting her be in this"

"You'd be wise" we look over seeing Agatha come over, Jessie jumps in horror placing a hand over her head "not to let little Zuri sign up into the beauty pageant"

"Agatha" we haven't seen one another since I beat up her sister.

"Wait!" Jessie exclaims pointing to Agatha "this is Agatha! You undersold how hideous she looks!"

"And who" Agatha sneers at Jessie "is this?"

"Jessie meet Agatha another nanny" introducing the two of them "Agatha this is my older sister Jessie"

Agatha looks between the two of us "It seems you got the lucky end, your sister here wears way too much makeup" covering my mouth amused as Jessie gasps in horror. She's been doing that a lot.

"At least I bother to wear makeup" she motions to Agatha "where do you do your makeup? The ugly salon?" Huh? "You know? Like a beauty salon but people are made to look ugly"

Shaking my head at Jessie and her lame comeback  "Zuri's signing up because even if she doesn't win, it's a fun thing she got to do. Winning isn't everything"

She nods her head "How many did you lose?"

"Actually my sister" Jessie tells her "won ten different beauty pageants" Agatha looks my way as I smirk drinking my coffee "And Zuri is going to win because I'll be coaching her!"

I spit my drink out coughing "Well it seems my Lindsey" Agatha smiles "will finally have come decent competition. Lindsey!" We see this cute little girl with long black hair, warm ivory skin and brown eyes come over in a blue cocktail dress with a white cardigan.

"Talk about beauty and the beast!" Jesse exclaims in shock.

"What do you mean?" Agatha asks smiling down at Lindsey "Lindsey's lovely"

"she meant your the beast" pointing to Agatha then to Lindsey "she's the beauty and I bet Lindsey has never made a horse faint"

She lowly whispers arguing "that horse was very old and" she looks around shaking her head "clearly weak from lack of oats" then she brags as Lindsey looks vegans us "Lindsey's a black belt in karate"

"Oh please" Jessica scoffs "every kid takes karate, doesn't mean they can" she screams and Lindsey flips Jesse.

"Lindsey?" She looks at me as I hand her ten bucks "do that again to my sister and you get ten bucks" she takes it smiling as she flips my sister again, I took a video of it this time to send to dad.

"So Lindsey can do karate!" Jesse waves her hands as I'm holding my hand up in a high five and Lindsey gives me one after Agatha nodded her head "Zuri is beautiful and talented and the most poise little girl I've ever met!" Are we talking about the same Zuri?

"I'm stuck in a bucket!" We look over to Zuri and I rush over "I'm stuck in a bucket!"

"Why" I ask trying to pull the bucket off her head "did you do this?!"

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Zuri complains

Shaking my head taking her hand "come on, let's go butter up your head again"

"So what talent do you have?" Zuri and I are in the living room at the penthouse as Amber takes Zuri's measurements for her pageant dress.

"Aren't you learning to play an instrument?" Jesse asks

Zuri nods her head and we watch as she plays the piano, well plays a few notes then looks to us "Is that all you know?" I ask. She nods her head smiling brightly "How is that possible? I'm not angry with you but your teacher?" She's been going there for weeks!

"She just cries at my lessons" she tells us

"Okay" nodding my head "what about dancing?" She goes to the middle of the floor and jumps up holding her hands up and smiles "please tell me that isn't all you know"

"Okay" she looks at Emma "that's all I know"

"Why don't" I suggest "we work on your pageant speech?"

Handing her a mic as Emma asks "Miss Ross, who is your hero?"

"Chubby the Bear" Zuri smiles giving a kiss making a heart shape.

"Let's change that" Jessie suggests "to George Washington?"

"Why doesn't she just" I suggest "answer from her heart, if Chubby's her hero then he's her hero"

"If you had one wish" Emma asks "what would it be?"

"To marry" she smiles "Chubby the Bear"

"Say" Jessie suggests to her "world peace, no one is against that"

"If you could have lunch" Emma asks "with one historical figure, who would it be?"

"And please" Jesse begs "don't say Chubby the Bear"

"Oh don't be silly" she placed a hand on her hip waving her hand "it would be Chubby the Bear's grandfather, old man chub's" I let out a laugh as Jessie face palms.

"So" Demetri asks as we watch Zuri go up on stage in her blue dress "what's her talent?" She's wearing this beautiful blue gown that Amber designed, even went up on stage to promote herself and her fashion line.

"Just watch" pointing to Zuri and her dramatic monologue.

"Why did you leave me?!" Zuri demands "Why did you leave me Chubby?!" Grabbing the chair "I will never forget the day you were not in the den watching the cubs!"

"She means the baseball team right?" Demetri asks

Shrugging my shoulders "Zuri" Emma orders "Smile"

"Cupcake hands" Jessie suggests

"Why am I not good enough for you?!" She screams at Chubby shaking the stuffed animal by his neck, she tossed him into the chair as she looked to the crowd "Did you find sweeter honey in the arms of another?! Even though our life together was often grizzly, I can't bear to see you go!" Falling to  her knees grabbing the bear "Stay Chubby! Stay!" When she stands up she says "and scene?" We clap our hands as she leaves.

"Zuri!" Going over to her picking her up and brings her off the stage "That was an entertaining performance!"

"Where did that come from?" Mara who was visiting asks

"It's what Madame Krishna always cries about at my piano lessons" she says

"We're getting you a new teacher" shaking my head.
