When I wake up, it's to the hard surface of the stone from that temple place we stopped to last night. After four days of being in the desert we finally reached some sort of place "Remind me again" I ask Horus as I got up to crack my muscles "why we slept out here and not inside that temple place?"

"You were afraid of snakes" nodding my head, yeah. Didn't want any snakes to bite me in my sleep, Horus assured me there were no snakes but I don't know.

He is staring at this temple "I'm guessing" sitting down next to him "this place holds some fond memories for you?"

"This used to be a garden you've never seen" he says "well one of them, the other my sister Subira. That was her name, she created this Oasis that mortals loved to visit"

"What happened?" Looking around this barren place "to both?"

"When Subira died" he sighs sadly "the oasis died with her, she tended to it. She refused to let anyone else tend to it afraid her oasis would be tarnished or destroyed—while this place" motioning around to the temple "this was my father, your grandfather's first temple. I'm his generosity, he opened the grounds so the poor could bury their own here. Seth has corrupted his teachings"

"Wasn't Osiris" I thought he was the god of the Underworld "the God of the Underworld?"

"Yes" nodding  his head "he symbolized death, but also resurrection and the Nile which was associated with agricultural fertility" smiling softly "my father loved this place" his hands clenched into fists that his knuckles turn white "so Seth brought him here to be butchered into fourteen pieces, the heart was never found"

"Could Seth have it?" I ask, he looks at me "I mean, he has your eyes or one of them...could it be that he has his heart?"

He nods his head "It's possible, yes"

Looking around "So did Seth destroy this place? The vegetation?"

Shaking his head no "Your grandmother, her tears salted the earth. Before she took her own life"

"She seems like a nice lady" he stares at me "since arriving at Anubis house last year, I've seen her a few times" he looks shocked "her spirit, her bringing me here was the first time she's offered guidance in the form of words"

"You may be able to see the dead" raising my eyebrow "some gods and their offspring, especially those who have associated themselves with the dead have been able to see the dead"

"Can you see the dead?" I ask

"No" shaking his head "at my full strength I can manipulate storms, but I'm very strong and a skilled warrior. I rarely use my storm abilities" looking away "Ra told me I was on a journey"

"A journey?"

"All gods are on a journey" looking at me "your on a journey yourself—if I reach the end of mine, I will be mighty again"

"How do you know" I ask "vengeance is your journey? Wouldn't it be I don't know? Redemption? Or saving the people from Seth's rule?"

"All I know" he is ready to cry but he's also enraged "is that this journey ends with my spear in Seth's skull...if I had just" shaking his head "if my father had fought him or if I was smarter during my battle—you'd have known your grandparents and your mother and I" looking at me "we'd be a family"

"Have you ever heard" I ask him "of the saying you can't alter your fate? I know that everyone has their own destinies, if it's true then maybe this journey your on is more than just vengeance"

He stares at me with his one eye "How is it I'm over a thousand years old yet a young girl who isn't even eighteen more wise than myself?"

Shrugging my shoulders "I don't" looking over noticing something when I hear a rumble "please tell me that's a storm?" Horus looked over and we are both standing up "what are those?!"

Pointing at the two huge cobra like snakes, one is pure black and the other pure white. I notice two people, one on each snake "Those are Seth's hunters riding their pets"

"Those aren't pets!" Running away, I see Horus not running "Run!" He sees me running and begins to run along with me. Hearing a horn, I look over seeing those snakes. One of them destroyed the entrance.

Hearing snarls, I notice again the snakes screaming "No one said anything about snakes!" Horus has us hide behind this one statue seeing fire on one side, I'm so close to peeing my pants. The snakes head off and we run back around to jump down "Dragons!"

"What's a dragon?" He asks

Face palming, I look back seeing them look around for us "Okay, how do you kill it?"

"Stab it" he shakes his head

They go past us and I check "I'll lure them away and you use your staff stabbing thing to kill it"

"Staff stabbing thing?" He demands

"Just do it" getting out and running away, when I'm near the temple I scream "Hey!" They look my way "I thought goddesses were supposed to be pretty? You both look like nothing more than cheap whores!" They both scream before having their snakes run at me.

Horus attacks the black snake first while I run away from the one that is white. Tripping down into one of the holes landing on my ankle hard. I cry out in pain but then the white snake thing is above me and the woman above yells "Die bastard!" The fire spews on me but this bubble, this bubble thing surrounds me. It's like when you use soap and blow a bubble and there's this kind of shine? It's like that but around me.

Getting into another spot, I find a knife here and grab it. Turning around, I throw it into the creature's eye. Maybe do what the phoenix did in Harry Potter. Blind the beast. I hold back a cry as I run into the temple to hide behind one of the pillars as Horus is on the back of it tying the lady to the snake before causing the snake to go over a cliff.

Heading out of the temple as it crumbles, that one lady has this sharp axe like weapon that she tries to slash me with but I dodge then punch her. I only meant to knock her out but that feeling I hard from before? With the bull? It's back, so I scream and she covers her ears as she is flown back. I was like Black Canary from DC when I screamed or Banshee from Marvel.

"Can Paragon's do that?!" Exclaiming when I look at Horus who is next to me.

"What happened? Why are you limping?" He demands

"I fell" looking down at my foot "how are we going to kill that snake?" Looking at the temple that crumbles, Horus has us go into another small trench or whatever the fuck this is called.

"You!" Horus angrily seethed, looking over this beautiful woman with olive skin, dark eyes and long black hair in a beautiful dress walks over gracefully.

"Just shut up" she orders "and stay out of my way!" We see her go over to the snake who roars at her "What a lovely creature you are" it is?! I'm ready to piss myself, actually...

Looking down, I sigh relieved that I haven't pissed myself "Let me help you" her voice is all seductive as she talks to the creature, Horus helps me out of the spot as she pulls out the spear in his throat.

I see that one woman going to stab the lady so I grabbed Horus's one knife and throw it at her, the knife embeds itself in her neck. When she pulls it out, she begins to bleed gold falling down dead.

"Good shot" Horus looks at me proud

Letting out a laugh "I've always been good with my aim" we then see the huge snake begin to burn itself and Horus has us go into this huge tunnel filled with dead bodies. That lady jumps down beside us holding the spear as Horus carries us towards the exit that leads to the side of a mountain.
