hello! author here. I would like to thank you for choosing to read this book, and also warn you of a few things. (and, if you're annoyed by the intended lowercase, don't worry, it's only for this chapter.)

ONE: this is an original story! I know it sounds awfully like it could be a book written by rick riordan, but I promise that I won't be copying the events that occur in his books. I admit, this plot was slightly inspired (by slightly I mean majorly inspired because I wouldn't have thought of the whole child of greek god thing) by rick riordan, but I will try my absolute best to make it seem original. unfortunately, though, my writing style is quite inspired by uncle rick as well, so it might seem dubious, and I'm sorry for that.

TWO: god, I'm sorry if the story is uncreative. I will try very very hard to make it interesting, but it might take some time. if I don't post a chapter for awhile, then it's because I can't think of an idea. sorry!

THREE: I am twelve as of 2019. I know it is no excuse to say I'm young and therefore to be more lenient with my writing, so I am totally okay with constructive criticism! I would like to apologise, too, if any of the scenes are unrealistic. the characters are from all over the world, and since I don't have much experience with the whole shebang, I won't be able to keep track with how your country may function. I'm from singapore, so I am very sorry if I don't know how american schools work and I get something wrong. this applies to every other country as well, of course.

FOUR: hi so I know some people are going to pronounce emilia as ah-me-lee-ah, but keep in mind that, to me, her name is pronounced em-mah-lee-ah!! you can say it however you want of course, the way I pronounce it is just my preference <3

FIVE: okay, yeah, you got me, this isn't a disclaimer. just wanted to wish you a happy reading journey, and I truly hope you enjoy this book. it's one of the first times I'm trying to seriously write a novel-ish, so I hope it goes well.
