I live in a small town called Bellevue of Washington State, where it's mostly cold and wet, with darkish clouds that always seem to set into a gloom. The town retained a small type of feel as far as people, and wooded areas that surround the city.

Far beyond the woods was a dirt trail that led you to a t-doc pier, stretching out into a lake of open water. Tall dark and eerie trees with black birds that roamed the sky... this was my reflecting place, where I strayed away from the world, and hid away from the life that I once knew.

Pretty dark right? Well that's me Emery... 24 years old and alone in this big city, haunted by last year's tragedy that changed my life forever.
