WRITERS' TIME

A/n: Taking steps backwards I mumble, "Okay main maafi maang rahi hun lekin please mujhe aise mat dekho. Darr lag raha hai" Arjun walks towards me shooting deadly glares and clenching both his hands into fist to control his anger.

Turning towards Sameer in desperation I mutter, "Sameer tum hi kuch kyun nahi bolte isse. Tum dekho kitne samajhdar ache bache ho mere. Please samjhao na."

"Sorry Karu main beech mein nahi aaunga. Tumne sirf ETF ko nahi humaari fanbase ko bhi ignore kiya hai."

"Haan haan.. Arjun aur ghuro isse. Main report do minute late submit karti hun toh mujhe pure hafte daant khaani padti hai, aur yeh maharani!!" Sakshi huffs and turns her back against me.

"Aath mahine pure aath mahine gayab hui ho. Batao Kahan thi tum." Ayesha asks rather sternly.

"Batati hun batati hun." huffing in relief I ramble up on why I was inactive for these many months.

Hey guysss!! I am ready to listen to all you curse and complain. Virtual tamatar aur ande bhi phenk ke maaro. You can even scold me all to your satisfaction but please hear me out once. 🥺🥺

So this year has been hell of a ride for me both personally and academically. And trust me when I say this i had no motivation to complete this book. But I didn't even have a heart to delete it. I wanted to retain my precious memories with this book and even had a desire to make new ones. As I had earlier mentioned Nidz and me have a whole layout already planned it's just that I couldn't gather my mind to write it down. It was all scattered and disturbed.
I had to change my college mid course due to my deteriorating health which lead to me having tourette's (Rani Mukherjee from 'Hichki') I was in another city away from my family and I had to be brought back urgently and had to take a break from academics for a while. Which leads to me having to repeat a year. It's like my life is stuck and not moving ahead.

Trust me when I say this Nidz literally yelled at me to give me motivation. She has even stopped talking to me till I don't write and publish so that I do something and feel proud of myself. I Love her but she is too annoying at times. Then my mobile broke as I threw it in a fit of rage and when it came back all repaired my grandma was nearing her final time. She has left for her heavenly abode and i am glad that she is in a much better place away from all the sufferings and pain which she endured in her past few years of life. But now I will really try my best to bounce back and update. Don't worry Nidz knows now how to blackmail me. We can't live a minute without talking to each other, so it's difficult for both of us.

Regarding the update: I will be updating soon and this time when you read this just think of me going through final revision of the chapter. I am looking forward to sharing this crazy ride with all of you here and i hope my return gives me the same love. I know I don't deserve it especially after such a long break but what to do. Life Happens...

So let's just start with brushing up your memories and even mine as I don't remember whatever I wrote in previous chapters.
So yeah there is a new team additional and it's Delhi Intelligence (*cough* Ayesha's *cough* Old *cough* team) and it's nothing like you imagined. I am really excited to share them with you and i hope you enjoy them as much as Nidz and me have enjoyed creating them.

Summary in my words

Jitesh, stole a Golden Sword of the Jaipur Rajawats and was killed at the City Bus Stand. ETF took over the case from the local police authorities and continued the investigation. Forensic report and CCTV footage, along with help from Karan-Simmi led them to Shiva, a highly contacted contract killer.
After a gripping chase across the Dharavi chawl, SamJun and Chotu caught hold of Shiva. This led him confess and even give details about M.K., for whom he took up the contract.
M.K was all set to leave the country, when ETF entered the scene. A gruesome encounter took place from where M.K was caught alive. He then started his story -

Raja Mahinder Rajawat's eldest son, Anurag Rajawat had given it to him to sell it illegally to one of his clients from foreign country. As Anurag didn't want to share the profit with his family, he wanted to keep it a secret. Jitesh was given the responsibility to give the sword to M.K. But as soon as M.K realised the true intentions, he got him killed.

The next morning after a good training session 😜 all gathered in the conference when Liza entered hastily, breaking through the glass door and all other furnitures.😂🤌 She revealed that the sword was fake and that too a perfect imitation because of which there was a confusion.
This meant that all had to go to Jaipur in search of the sword. This had to be quick and discreet as the sword was a very valuable belonging, resembling the pride of Rajawat Khaandaan.

Jaipur, Sameer's hometown and Arjun's most dreaded place, especially after 9 years of cutting all contacts was the last place where he wanted to be. Arjun and Sameer were best of friends which even implied that Arjun was very close to Sameer's family, more than Sameer was, to be precise. But Sikandar had brought such darkness into his life that there was only emptiness and anger which surrounded him.

On the way to Sameer's home, Ayesha's unjustified anger towards the mechanic shocks everyone. The mechanic was a close associate of Ishwar Kapoor, her bade papa urf SIR. The reason for Ayesha's anger is revealed to SamJun-

Her Ishwar paa, who after the drift became Ishwar SIR couldn't trust her when it came to a case of custodial death in her presence and initiated her transfer as an undercover cop, Nadiya to expose various high profile drug dealings. It was later revealed to the enquiry committee that Ayesha had no involvement in the death of the prisoner. But, the anger has not yet been washed off from her heart.

They reach home and Arjun seeks for forgiveness from each and everyone in the family as he had hurt them deeply and now it was his responsibility to fix things back. Since Sameer had also not been to Jaipur in these 9 years, he too was given a very appropriate punished by Maasa.

Arjun is overjoyed upon meeting his niece after such a long time.

An Indian-origin scientist in Melbourne, Ritesh Bharadwaj gets excited when he sees his formula has worked. Subodh, his assistant joins him in the celebration when Ritesh decides to return back to India.

The next day starts with Arjun humiliating Sakshi in front of everyone. Sakshi answers back rather rudely after which she rushes out from there. Sakshi's prank backfired in ways which she never even thought. After much consoling from her friends she was able to hold on to herself. All were angry on Arjun for his inconsiderate behaviour and Arjun too was remorseful and didn't know how to set things right. But the case couldn't wait and for that they had to first go to the Rajawat's mansion.
Everyone in the family look at the sword overjoyed. It felt like ETF had rescued something really big, but the team knew it was fake and hence they souldn't really be appreciated for it. They inform this to Mahinder Rajawat, who because of his ill-health stops answering mid-way. His PA answers most of their questions and even tells them that Anurag had no motive to sell it in an illegal way as he was the sole heir of the Rajawat property.
Shree is asked to track Anurag's mobile which leads them to a forest like area. There they find Anurag's dead body and even the sword.
They enter back into the Rajawat mansion but this time with a bad news. The family, especially his wife is inconsolable after listening to the news. Ajit, Anurag's younger brother is asked for some details. He reveals that Anurag had told him about the fake and real sword, so that he could keep the real sword away from evil eyes. He even proceeds to speak about Geeta di, who never liked the idea of Anurag being the sole heir of the property but couldn't say much as she was married off and lived in U.K.

It was late in the evening, hence all go back home. Further steps could be taken only after the sword was examined and documented. The house is all decked up for the next day Gangaur celebration and all are excited upon hearing the onset of festival. It was the first Rajasthani festival which they would be witnessing. Sameer and Samar go to the famous mithai bhandaar to get ghevar and rabri for everyone and even extra sweets of the same for the next day celebration.
Seeing this as a wonderful opportunity, Ayesha sent Arjun upstairs where Sakshi was present. She very well knew that everyone especially Sameer were extremely angry at Arjun and none of them would allow any conversation to take place between them. Hence, she took the initiative and advised him to go upstairs and apologise.
He rushed upstairs and with all his heart, he apologized for his behaviour. He even demanded an apology from Sakshi for the prank which got him angered. Sakshi forgave him for the same and even apologised. Sakshi understood how deeply Arjun loves his sleep and jokes on it saying if he was in Mumbai she would have poured water on him, but since it's Jaipur and because of water shortage she refrained from doing so. Arjun laughs in the longest time ever that too from his heart. He then realises the slip and controls himself.
Sameer and the rest who heard the laugh, were happy knowing that everything was sorted between the two. Ayesha who lied to Sameer about Arjun self-realising his behaviour and taking initiative to apologise to Sakshi is uncovered when Arjun speaks the truth in a flowing conversation.

Sameer gives Ayesha an unbelievable look as she lowers her head in embarrassment. Later all go to freshen up before sitting for dinner. Sameer who was busy reading a file, is enchanted upon looking at Ayesha in a beautiful kurta. Wearing it was not a new thing for her as she wears such outfits at home and she is habituated to it since her teenage. But for Sameer it was new - seeing Ayesha like this and even his attention getting diverted. This for sure didn't go unnoticed by the rest, especially Maasa who continued to tease him.

Ritesh as per Subodh's suggestion decided on Mumbai as the centre for attack, One of the reasons being, Dr. L.K. Menon, a P.hd scholar, researcher and a very respected professor and mentor who lived in Mumbai currently. As they were ready to leave, Ritesh got a harsh reality check about his experiment. The success seemed like an illusion after he injected a small sample of formula in one of the worker's body and saw no results. The worker struggled for life and death when Ritesh shot him dead in disappointment. It is also revealed that Ritesh has killed the Chief Research Scientist and burried him in his Sea View Villa backyard. They had planned to leave the city before dawn hit, but Ritesh's nervous breakdown led to postponing the plan.

After dinner all sat down to talk and relax. Ayesha went upstairs, and upon coming down, her hand slightly hit the copper artefact kept on the side cupboard, near the staircase in the living room. But, before any damage could be caused Pooja caught hold of it. As she was placing it inside the drawer Ayesha's eyes fell on a photo frame. She was shocked beyond words and immediately enquired with Pooja before she jumped to any conclusions. Pooja informed that the photo has Maasa and her two childhood bestfriends, to which Ayesha whispers something to her and the same amount of surprise is witnessed on Pooja's face.

The family spend quality time together and after a lot of chit chat and teasing it is revealed that Ayesha's mom and Sameer's mom are best friends. Maasa is shocked as due to some ego clashes she stopped talking to her friends. She knows what she did was wrong and hence feels guilty to face her friend's daughter.

Morning time everything is sorted and Maasa is much better at managing her emotions. She tries to forget and move past yesterday's intense drama. Pooja, the daughter-in-law is ready for her final day Gangaur Pooja and soon Ruhanika, Ayesha's childhood best friend and dance partner comes with Aarti. Aarti had stayed over at her place and arrived just in the morning. Ruhanika a.k a Rooh is Ayesha's best friend and is even Maasa's family friend's daughter-in-law.

Before leaving for work Ayesha warns Rooh to not spil out anything.

"Aur jab tak main nahi aati mujhe topic of discussion mat banana Rooh." Ayesha discretely warns her by gently placing her hands on Rooh's neck. Rooh gulps and promises that she will wait for her.

Please note: i am having my finals and nidzz pre board is on her head so updates will be a bit late.
