Recap: Rathode-Raghu tiff, Team fun, Case investigation, Rathode's undekha roop, Arjun - a junior.

They come home and tell about their day to parents and all have a hearty laugh. Shivani, Ajay, Hazel all are happy seeing that they have got normal. Shree also smiles for two reasons- one, today's drama and two, his team is normal now.

*The next morning at Ayesha's home*

"Yaar kya pehnu? Kuch samajh hi nahin aa raha hai!" Sakshi cries.

"Kuch bhi pehen lo na Sakshi. Kya jata hai?" Ayesha says while consoling her.

"Kya kuch bhi peheno Ayesha. Office ki baat alag hai. Aaj toh function bhi hai. Kuch acha pehen na toh padega na." Liza says supporting Sakshi.

Hazel and Shivani come with 3 bags and hand it over to the girls.

"Yeh kya hai?" Sakshi asks all excited.

"Khol ke dekh lo." Shivani replies.

"Mom, aunty iss ki kya zaroorat thi?" Liza asks as she opens her bag.

It's a beautiful light green banarasi saree. With matching accessories in a separate box.

"Kya zaroorat thi matlab?" Hazel asks raising her eyebrows.

"Haan aur kya? Tum teenon kya normal kapde pehenke jaate?" Shivani asks.

Sakshi and Ayesha also open their bags. Sakshi has pink banarasi saree and Ayesha has red gown with grey heavy banarasi dupatta. They too have matching accessories.

"Maa saree?" Sakshi asks with tears filled in her eyes.

"Haan tumhe saree pehen na pasand hai na? Issiliye." Shivani answers while cupping her face.

"Aapko ab tak yaad hai?" Sakshi asks further.

"Maa hun na. Kuch nahin bhulti." Shivani replies and Sakshi acknowledges it with a tight hug.

*Flashback starts*

It was a normal day when Shivani was caressing Sakshi's hair. When Sakshi said "Maa aap jaanti hai mujhe na saree pehen na bohot pasand hai. Bachpan mein maa ki saree pehenti thi aur  unko apne aas paas mehsoos karti thi. Bohot acha lagta tha."

Shivani just caressed her hair and planted a kiss on her forehead. She said "Aapki maa toh hamesha aapke saath hai beta."

"Haan aur ab toh meri maa bhi hai tumhare saath." Ayesha came with 5 cups of coffee along with Liza and Hazel.

"Ayesha tumhe problem toh nahin hai na?" Sakshi asked as she didn't want to hurt her best friend.

"No no mujhe koi problem nahin hai. Ab tum bhi jhelo inki chik-chik" Ayesha said casually which made her earn Shivani's glare  Hazel elbowed Ayesha and said "Bacha kya bol rahi ho?"

"Aunty she doesn't mean it. Aap udaas mat ho jaayiye" Liza assured Shivani.

"Main na tumhari dost ko bohot ache se jaanti hoon." said Shivani and laughed.

All shared a laugh while enjoying coffee..

*Flashback ends*

"Haan aur main yeh gown pehnu?" Ayesha frowns as she looks at her attire.

"Haan maa iss keliye saree nahin laaye aap?" Sakshi asks Shivani.

"Oh meri maa. Saree kon pehnega?" Ayesha asks Sakshi.

"Tum." Liza answers.

"Yeh pehen lun wahi bohot hai mere liye. Kitna irritating hota hai yeh sab. Ughhh!!" Ayesha answers in frustration.

"Lekin uss din toh Sameer ke saath jaate waqt pehna tha." Sakshi says casually. Both mothers look at her.

"Woh case ke liye tha Sakshi. Aur tumne hi pehnaane mein madad ki thi." Ayesha clears her stand.

"Ohhh." The mothers reply while looking at each other. "Ab taiyaar ho jaao teenon." Shivani orders.

"Theek hai." Sakshi and Liza reply excited and Ayesha replies with a dejected tone.

They get ready and come to the living room. Shree and Chotu are waiting for them there. Shree is seen wearing a black blazer over white shirt and Chotu black blazer over a blue shirt. They both look really handsome. The girls appreciate them and the boys too appreciate the girls.

"Tum nahin Liza main Ayesha aur Sakshi ki taareef kar raha tha." Shree says in order to tease her.

"Aur main Chotu ki taareef kar rahi thi Specky. Tum mein taareef karne waali konsi baat hai." Liza also shows equal attitude. Shree gets happy listening to Specky from Liza's mouth but hides it with a glare.

Ayesha intervenes before the fight exceeds "Hum sabko chalna chahiye guyss"

"Haan.."  saying so all leave. They leave from home and reach HQ by 8:00.

Sameer and Arjun come and they meet in the parking lot. Arjun has worn an all black suit and Sameer has worn a black suit over a white shirt and black tie. They both look really hot.

"Good morning." Sameer greets his team.

"Good morning sir/Sameer" replies the team.

Arjun is in no-nonsense mood today as he is very frustrated. He doesn't like such functions. That too when so many officers are there. But Sakshi being Sakshi "Good morning Arjun." and gives him a wide smile.

Arjun ignores it. "Andar chale?" he asks Sameer.

"Good morning toh bol de Rawate." Sameer instructs Arjun.

"Good morning team." Arjun greets everyone.

"Good morning sir/Arjun" replies the team with a smile.

"Khush hone waali konsi baat hai?" Arjun asks in a stern voice.

"Rawate andar chalte hai. Aaj toh inka peecha chod de." Sameer orders Arjun.

"Haan Arjun. Ab toh case bhi nahin hai. Ab humare smile karne se tumhe kya problem hai?" Sakshi asks in full attitude.

Arjun ignores her and walks ahead. Sakshi also follows him. Rathode looks down to control his smile and walks ahead. "Team let's go" Sameer orders.

"Ab Sakshi sir ka peecha pure function karegi." Ayesha says with a smile.

"Haan. Bechare Arjun sir" everyone in unison.

Here Sakshi "Arjun main kya keh rahi hoon, tum bhi smile kar lo suit karega tumpe."

Arjun while walking answers "Mujhpe kya suit karta hai kya nahin yeh mujhe tumse jaan ne ki koi zaroorat nahin hai Miss. Sakshi Anand."

"Zaroorat hai Arjun. Agar tum aisi sadi hui shakal lekar ghumoge toh function ka saara mood kharab ho jaayega na." Sakshi replies in a chirpy tone.

Arjun just removes his goggles and glares at Sakshi. Sakshi brushes it off with a smile. By then Sameer and the team reach there.

"Chalo ab andar chalte hai." Sameer says to cool the situation. And all enter into the hall.

All the officers are dressed formally and are waiting for function to begin. The function begins in some time and the chief guest does the honours. 

I.G Dustin Coelho makes a few official announcement before the actual one.

"Toh ab ek zaroori baat. Jaisa ki hum sab jaante hai jis Sikandar ke baare mein hume lagta tha ki jhooth hai usske raaz se parda hat chuka hai. Humare poorv grah mantri (Home Minister) ka beta hi Sikandar tha aur naa jaane kitne saalon se gerkanooni kaam kar raha tha. Main humare department ke officers ACP Sameer Dhamsingh Rathode, ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawate aur Shreekant Sen ko congratulate karna chahta hoon ki unhone Sikandar ko pakda bhi, saboot bhi ikatta kiya aur apni team ko sahi salamat wapas bhi le aaye."

All the officers clap and congratulate them. Coelho continues "Toh ab ek aur zaroori baat, ETF ko phir se shuru  kiya jaayega aur isse lead karenge ACP Sameer Dhamsingh Rathode with Second-in-command ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawate aur baaki officers- Sr. Inspector Ayesha Kapoor, Commando Chandrakant Patil, Tech Expert Shreekant Sen, Forensic Expert Liza D'Cruz aur Crime Journalist Sakshi Anand. Main chahta hoon ki aap sab inka swagat taaliyon ke saath kare."

The officers clap and welcome them. Coelho then ends his announcement and asks everyone to enjoy themselves with refreshments.

All come and congratulate the team who are standing in one corner. Mainly they all congratulate Arjun for nabbing Sikandar and avenging his wife's death. Rathode just looks at Arjun with pride and pats his back. The juniors look at that and smile.

After what Arjun faced from the department, this was needed. Rathode wanted his department to respect and appreciate Arjun. He wanted them to apologise for not trusting on their own officer, for making new stories and spreading false information.

And all that happened today. Arjun got the respect and admiration which he deserved. Rathode was the most happiest. Arjun was not bothered, as for him he just needed his team back, his Sam back and he got it. He didn't care about what other people thought of him or how they perceived him. But he played along.

Once the frequency of people decreased Sameer and Arjun realize that their team is just behind them. Sameer asks "Kya hua? Yahaan kyun khade ho? Go enjoy yourselves."

"Sameer itni boring function mein enjoy?" Sakshi asks like a child.

"Haan sir iss se behtar tha hum case hi solve karte." Shree says.

"Ab pata chala tum logon ko?" Arjun asks sarcastically while nodding his head in disbelief.

"Haan Arjun ab pata chala." Sakshi answers with a pout.

"Agar tum tumhaare seniors se chipke rahoge toh aur bore hoge." Sameer states.

"Nahin.." reply everyone in unison.

"Shhh.." Sameer asks them to lower their voice.

When the team is talking to each other, ACP Karthik comes to congratulate Arjun.

"Congratulations Arjun! Main toh humesha se jaanta tha tum jhooth bol hi nahin sakte. Magar kya karein, duty comes first right?"

"Haan.." Arjun replies without taking any interest and the juniors just roll their eyes at Karthik's nonsense.

"Anyways Sikandar ko dhundne mein itni mehnat ki tumne aur taareef Sameer ki bhi hui. Not bad!" Karthik says while mocking Sameer.

Arjun gets angry but Sameer asks him to stay calm. Juniors also get very irritated but Rathode tells them to ignore Karthik and enjoy the party. But, they don't listen instead they just stand there next to Rathode and Arjun.

ACP Mahinder just passes from there when ACP Karthik calls him. "Mahinder zara yahaan aana."
Mahinder obliges to it.

"Tum bolo, agar kabhi saara kaam tum karo aur taareef mujhe mile, tumhe acha lagega?" Karthik asks Mahinder mockingly.

"Nahin. Lekin tum kahaan I.G sir ke favourite ho? Toh jaane do iss baat ko." Mahinder also adds fuel to the smoke.

"Haan yeh baat toh sahi ki tumne." Karthik says and they chuckle.

"Ho gaya tum logon ka?" Arjun asks impatiently. If Rathode had not stopped him, by now he would have given them his Samjhe Ya Samjhaun properly.

By now everyone in the party gather around there. "Waise kuch toh ache karm kiye hi honge tumne Sameer ki phir se Chief bana diya gaya tumhe." says one officer.

"Haan warna mujhe laga ki HQ mein files hi sambhalte rahoge." says another one.

"Aree agar Coelho sir ka haath ho sar pe toh chief kya yeh commissioner na ban jaaye." says Mahinder.

Arjun finds it very difficult to control his anger, even the team. If Rathode was not present there, they would have shot all of them that too point blank. So much of jealousy towards Rathode? And Sameer just standing there listening to all the taunts quietly. He is not bothered by these or maybe he is pretending to not be bothered.

"Lekin ab tak bana nahin na?" Sakshi raises her voice. Someone humiliating their chief was not acceptable to her.

"Haan, aur waise bhi aisi sab baaton mein time waste nahin karte hai sir." Shree supports Sakshi's statement.

"Guys stop it." Sameer orders. Arjun hears the team and just smiles. "Rawate tu hi samjha inhe ab." Sameer continues.

"Main kya Samjhaun?" Arjun asks raising his eyebrows.

"Yeh dekho samjhana bhi Arjun ko hi hai. Toh tum chief banke kya karte ho Sameer?" One of the cops mock Sameer.

Arjun gets angry he holds the cop by his collar "Bhakwaas band karo apni. Aur main chup hun iska matlab yeh nahin ki main kuch nahin kar sakta. Aise samjhaunga na main tum logon ko ki waapas kabhi kuch samajhne ke kaabil nahin bachoge. Yeh baat tum Samjhe Ya Samjhaun." Arjun threatens them.

"Rawate.. kya kar raha hai? Bhul mat yeh humare colleagues hai." Sameer orders him to shut his mouth and be in his best behavior.

"Kya karoge Arjun Rawate? Jab tumhara chief hi kuch karne ke kaabil nahin hai toh tum kis kis ka munh band karoge?" Karthik continues mocking Sameer.

"Sabka magar pehle tumhara." Arjun is about to raise his hand when Sameer stops it.

"Damm it! Kya kar rahe ho Rawate? Function chal raha hai. Tamasha mat karo."

"Tamasha main nahin yeh kar rahe hai Rathode." Arjun glares at Sameer and replies.

"Toh karne do. Tum ignore nahin kar sakte?" Sameer questions back.

Here Ayesha replies "Nahin. Aur ignore bhi kyun kare aapke baare mein bol rahe hai."

"Haan sir aur aapke baare mein koi kuch bole hum bardaasht nahin kar sakte." Chotu says in anger scaring all other officers present there.

"Sir aap Arjun sir ko nahin rokenge. Arjun sir ka gussa jaayaz hai." Liza sternly keeps her opinion in front of Rathode.

"Haan Sameer." Sakshi replies.

"Ab chodh mujhe Rathode." Arjun says trying to remove Rathode's grip from himself.

"Nahin Rawate. Udta hua teer main khula nahin chodta." Sameer strictly replies.

"Rathode!" growls Arjun in a low voice.

"Rawate." Sameer too tries to calm him down.

Arjun realizes that Rathode won't leave him and hence he just walks out from the function. He can't bare someone humiliating Sameer. The team too walks out from there due to the same reasons. They all sit in the car Shree brought and leave from the venue.

Here Rathode just looks at all the officers when Coelho comes there and asks sternly "Kya hua yahaan?"

"Kuch nahin sir. Bas Rawate ka gussa." Rathode replies. Coelho knows that what happened had no fault of Arjun and he will know the details later. Hence he lets go of the matter.

"Hmm.." Coelho replies and walks out from there. After the function gets over, Sameer drives back to the office. He knows Raghu will be there and Arjun must have told him everything.

Sameer waits for Coelho in the parking lot for moral support to face both Raghu and Arjun and not to forget his juniors. and when Coelho comes there, they together walk to the office.

"Kuch toh hua tha wahaan Rathode." Coelho looks at him suspiciously.

"Sir aapko waise bhi andar pata chalne hi waala hai." Rathode replies nervously. While entering they hear Raghu screaming "Uss Karthik ki himmat kaise hui. Agar Coelho aur mere jaane ke baad koi ETF sambhal sakta tha toh woh Rathode tha."

"Lekin sir aapko bhi toh uspe bharosa nahin tha." Sakshi says in order to know more.

"Haan kyunki pehle woh kaisa tha tum log nahin jaante. Sheen ke kidnapping ke baad I realised ki Rathode se behtar chief ETF ko mil hi nahin sakta hai." Raghu answers.

"We are sorry sir." Juniors reply.

"No no you don't need to be sorry. Mera tab andaaza galat tha. I know. Sorry bhi bolna chahta tha, lekin janaab ke taane khatam nahin hote." Raghu says in frustration

Coelho smiles and looks at Rathode who has plastered his face with an unbothered look. But Coelho knows Sameer is the most happiest person right now. They enter the office.

"Aao Rathode!" Raghu greets Sameer when he enters the office. "Andar aao." saying so he calls him inside the conference.

Team and Arjun are just glaring at him for his "too good" attitude. Coelho understands that the situation is too stressful and he asks "Hua kya hai? Koi mujhe bataayega?"

"Apne bete se puch lo Coelho." Raghu answers in a strict tone.

"Konse waale se?" Coelho asks sheepishly. Since both Sameer and Arjun are like sons to Coelho. All try controlling their smiles.

"Main batata hun sir." Arjun comes forward in full seriousness and tells Coelho about the whole function and how they humiliated Rathode. But Rathode being Rathode didn't utter a single word. And even stopped them from doing or saying anything.

Coelho didn't seem surprised at all. Maybe he already knew about the incident, don't know. But he looks at Rathode with a lot of seriousness. He wants an answer as to why Rathode stopped them. Not only Coelho everyone needed an answer.

But before they could question further Shree detected an incomming call from an unknown number in Raman's mobile.

"Sir Raman ko ek unknown number se call aa raha hai."

"Okay Shree speaker pe daalo." Arjun instructs.

Shree obliges and does as he is told.

*On call*
"Kya bola tha maine Raman. Tender pass karte toh yeh sab problem nahin hoti. Chup chap tender pass karo aur apne bete ko zinda dekho."

"Please please mere bete ko kuch mat karo. Dekhta hun ke main kya kar sakta hoon. Usse chod do." Raman says.

"Mujhe results chahiye Raman. Jaldi." The caller cuts the call.

"Shree call trace hui?" Raghu asks hopefully.

"Nahin sir" Shree asks getting dejected. He continues "Caller bohot shaatir hai sir dusre country ka sim use kar raha hai."

"Waise konse tender ki baat ho rahi thi?" Sameer asks.

"Woh Raman haali mein ek mall ka tender pass karne waala tha, lekin kiya nahin. Logon ne bohot dabaav daala ki agar mall wahaan ban jaata hai toh baaki logon ko bhi sahi amount ka compensation milna chahiye jo woh builder dena ko taiyaar nahin tha. Toh tender reject kar diya gaya." Shree states

"Hmmm.. ho sakta hai woh builder inn sab mein shaamil ho. Ek baar puch-taach karni padegi." Rathode says firmly.

"Chotu Ayesha iss cancelled tender ke baare mein jo pata chal sakta hai pata lagao. I want all the details soon." Rathode orders.

"Yes sir" saying so both get back to work.

Rathode continues "Sakshi tum yeh Raman ke baare mein saari details nikaalo. I want to know ki aaj tak isne kitne tenders pass kiye hai. Aur kya kya kiya hai."

"Yes Sameer." Sakshi answers and walks towards her desk.

"Shree tum nazar rakho Raman ke calls pe. Kisse call karta hai? Kya baat karta hai sab.." Arjun orders Shree.

"Yes Sir." Shree replies and gets back to his work.

Raghu and Coelho look at how their Juniors are handling everything and smile. "Kapde badalne ka koi iraada hai? Ya aise hi kaam karoge aaj." Raghu asks everyone. All realise that they are still in their function wear and smile sheepishly.

"Saare details nikaal lo usske baad ghar jaake change kar lena." Coelho instructs them.

"Yes Sir." All reply and again get back to their work.

They are collecting all the details and Rathode, Arjun, Coelho and Raghu sit in the conference room. They are observing the photographs very keenly.

Arjun notices that the impression of car tyres near the crime scene is same as that of the tyre of Atul's car. "Sir yeh dekhiye crime scene ke paas jo tyre impression mile the woh Atul ke car ke tyres ke saath match karte hai."

"Hmm.. iska matlab ki ussi car ki madad se woh log Shankar ki laash ko Railway tracks tak le gaye aur wahaan jaake phenk diya." Raghu speaks in favour of the observation.

"Lekin sochne waali baat yeh hai ki agar Atul ke car se hi Shankar ki laash ko le jaaya gaya. Toh phir bodyguards ko car Colaba mein kaise mila. Jabki Railway tracks Colaba se bohot door hai." Rathode states his observation.

"You are right Rathode." Arjun states and continues "Yeh toh ab humein uss builder se milne ke baad hi pata chalega."

"Hmm.." all 4 exclaim.

Ayesha and Chotu enter the conference "Haan Ayesha. Kya pata chala?" Coelho asks.

"Sir! Yeh Raman ne builder Kukreja se waada kiya tha ki mall ka tender usse hi milega. Jahaan pe mall banana chahte the wahaan already ek chota complex tha jisme bohot saari dukaanein thi. Compensation ke liye Kukreja ko jitne paise dene the usne utne paise diye nahin."

Chotu continues "Aur issiliye wahaan ke login ne complaint file ki jiski wajah se Raman ko yeh tender reject karna padta. Elections bhi nazdeek aa rahe hai aur agar isne tender pass kiya toh kursi chin jaane ka bhi problem hai."

"Toh issiliye tender phir se pass karane ke liye Kukreja ne Atul ko kidnap kiya. Raman se badla lene ke liye?" Rathode states in confusion.

"Ho sakta hai Rathode. Yeh toh uss se puch taach karne ke baad hi pata chalega." Raghu says.

By now Sakshi also enters the conference room "Sameer kuch khaas nahin pata chal paya hai. Lekin yeh zaroor pata chala hai ki Raman ne Kukreja se waada kiya tha ki tender ussiko milega aur uske badle profit ka 10% Raman ko milega. Baaki tenders ka kuch khaas nahin hai. Sab pass ho chuke hai without any conflict."

"Hmm.. toh ab shaq ki pehli sui kukreja pe aakar rukti hai." Rathode states.

"Hmm. Toh chalte hai puch taach karne." Coelho says. He looks at his team and with a smile he adds "Lekin uss se pehle tum log kapde badal lo."

"Yes sir." saying so all leave from there. They go to their homes change and come back to ETF Office. Shree, Ayesha, Chotu stay in the office to collect more details.

Sakshi, Arjun, Sameer, Raghu, Coelho go to Kukreja's office for questioning.

*At Kukreja's office*
Naveen Kukreja enters his cabin and asks with a wide grin "Good morning officers. Aaj yahaan kaise aana hua?"

"Kuch nahin bas soch rahe the aapke building mein ek makaan khareed lein." Coelho answers.

Kukreja laughs "Officer itna bhi bewakoof nahin hun main. Makaan kharidna hota toh aap akele aate puri team ke saath nahin."

He continues "Mera time bohot kimti hai toh agar aap direct point le aa jaye toh behtar hoga."

"Atul Raman kahaan hai Kukreja?" Raghu asks.

"Kon Atul?" Kukreja asks first but he soon remembers "Ohh Raman ka beta. Mujhe kya pata?"

"Tujhe nahin toh aur kisse pata hoga?" Arjun asks banging the table.

"Kya hua hai?" Kukreja gets serious and he asks.

"Atul gayab hai aur humein lagta hai uske gayab hone mein tumhara haath hai." Sakshi answers.

"What nonsense! Main aisa kyun karunga?" Kukreja exclaims.

"Kyunki uske baap ne tumhare mall ka tender pass nahin kiya tha. Jiski wajah se tumhe kaafi nuksaan hua hai." Rathode answers.

"Nuksaan aur Fayda humare business ke do pahloo hai officer. Aur rahi baat tender na pass hone ki, Raman ne kaha tha ki kisi bhi kimat par woh yeh tender pass karega. Aakhir uska faayda bhi toh chupa tha." Kukreja answers casually.

"Abhi kahaan se aa rahe ho?" Raghu asks.

"Ek meeting attend kar raha tha main. Chaho toh puch sakte ho kissise." Kukreja answers.

"Agar Atul ki kidnapping mein tumhaara haath nikla toh tum jaante ho tumhaare sath kya ho sakta hai." Sameer warns him before leaving from the office. Kukreja adjusts his tie and sits back to work.

They enquire about Kukreja's whereabouts and even see the cctv footage of the meeting room. He was present there and did not make or receive any phone calls. Rathode calls Shree and asks him to keep Kukreja's phone records ready.

But before leaving they get a news saying that Atul's kidnapping has reached the media houses and they are telecasting it. Mr. Raman has also given his statement. Hence, they rush to the ETF office.
