As in, "Mechanical Pencil Blob". Yeah, I know. That was the best name I could come up with.
     Basically, it was a combination of things I did over the summer. That was the assignment.
     So let's get into it...

The shape was inspired by a lava lamp which I received over summer. That was another part of He assignment. Our "picture plane" could not be a regular shape. We had to be creative and use a shape to draw on that wasn't common.

Right, so let's draw in some details and get the story down. What exactly do I have going on here?
We have a stone bridge with a hidden pencil railing. The pencil means I drew over summer.
To the right, you'll see stacked boxes. I moved over summer, and obviously boxed everything.
What's at the bottom? Water. I swam at the beach over summer break on vacation.

So let's darken it and add some more details.
What are those things in the back? It's supposed to be a surreal and steampunk inspired structure. It's like a stacked house on stilts that looks very unstable. I dreamt over summer.
... I have some of the weirdest dream you could ever imagine.

So now let's move into the Final product. The above was all draft, and now we started on the actual assignment.
Let's get some bricks shades and change the water a little to appear as a river.

Let's throw in some water details and those dream structures. Awesome, now the bridge is shaded and done.

Water has been shaded and moving onto the boxes to the right...

Cut out the entire shape and finished up the shading.
Boom, we are done. Whole thing done with a single mechanical pencil.
