"The Power Up Virus"

"Victims get infected by this virus from an injection. It is noncontamitable. The virus gives the victims special abilities. It has no known cure."

"First stage"

"In the first stage, the body will adapt itself to the virus, in order to allow the abilities to develop properly. Occasionally, eye color will change, although its rare."

"Second Stage"

"In the second stage, the new abilities will develop. They range from small enhancements, to elemental control. This is also the final stage"

"How to handle victims"

"Once the abilities develop, the victim will become more hostile, and lash out often. It is best to either turn a victim in to the Alien Hunters, or put them into the special school, UA."

Shinsou sighed, slamming the hand book shut. He knew for a fact that he had some sort of virus, because his eyes were purple, the same as his hair dye. He also knew that it wasn't the transformation virus, because he felt fine, other than his pounding headache.

All the other viruses had some sort of symptom, but he didn't have any from what he could tell. So, it was likely that he had a power-up virus.

Unlike Midoryia, he didn't plan on telling his parents. His parents were much more wary of alien attack victims than Mrs. Midoryia.

He knew that if they found out he had a virus, he'd be shipped to UA, the special school for survivors of alien attacks, in the blink of an eye.

Lucky, he had grey eye contacts from the one time he dressed up as a robot for Halloween. He put the eye contacts on quickly, before he started getting dressed.

I wonder how long I can go before people start to get suspicious...

The answer to that was not long at all. The moment Shinsou had walked into school, Iida started berating him for wearing eye contacts to school. "Iida-kun. Is it that big of a deal?" He stated, annoyed. The headache had only gotten worse, making it much harder for him to think properly.

"Yes, because the contacts will distract other students!" Iida said, making his hand motions. Shinsou shook his head, sighing, "dude, my hair is dyed purple. That doesn't seem to distract anyone. Why would grey contacts?"

Iida sighed, giving up on trying to get Shinsou to take the contacts off. Shinsou turned to look at the door, hearing Midoryia and Todoroki enter the school, the former chattering happily.

The whole group was there, but Uraraka. "Hey guys! Do you know where Uraraka is?" Midoryia asked.

Iida replied with "she's probably staying home sick. I heard that there's a flu outbreak.", and everyone else nodded.

The group walked off to class, not knowing about the events to take place.

The four boys were currently in the locker room, changing into their gym clothes. Midoryia and Shinsou were the last ones out, Midoryia because his tentacles made taking his shirt off take longer, and Shinsou because he wanted to talk with the alien boy.

"Hey, Midoryia-kun?" Shinsou said, the smaller boy working on putting on a tank top. He looked up and said "yeah Shinsou-kun?"

"Are you able to keep a secret?"

A nod in reply.

"Great. I need your help with something"

"What is it?"

Shinsou took off eye contacts, revealing his now purple eyes.

"I have a virus of some sort"

Midoryia seemed suprised. "Why are you asking me for help?"

"You have the transformation virus, so I figured you might be able to help"

"I.. I'm not sure.. uh, well when we found out about my virus, my body felt numb.. I guess you probably know that though..."

"The only thing that feels different is that I have a major headache."

"Well... maybe its a mental power u-"

He stopped talking suddenly, and his eyes seemed to gloss over. Shinsou waved his hand in front of Midoryia's face. "Hello? Midoryia-kun?" No response. "Midoryia-kun, snap out of it!"

Midoryia blinked, shaking his head. "What just happened..? It was almost like someone else was controlling my body..."

The two made eye contact, as both of them came to the same conclusion.

"Its a brainwashing type power-up virus."

Shinsou noted that his headache had died down after talking to Midoryia. That was good, because headaches made him ten times more tired.

The school day was over, and he was at home, trying to avoid his parents. He had no idea how to control his new power, and he'd rather not use it by accident.

He and Midoryia had decided to try and practice using it later that night, at the old abandoned beach.

The beach used to be beautiful, but it had become a dumping grounds over the years. However, Midoryia had apparently created a clearing, to get stronger. That was where they would meet.

Luckily, his parents had to leave for work before he planned to meet up with Midoryia. That meant he could leave without needing to explain why.
After a while, he heard the front door open, and then close again. His parents had left.

Good.

He took off the itchy eye contacts, blinking. They were annoying to wear all day, thats for sure.

A few more minutes of waiting, and he set off, heading for the beach. As he had expected, no one really paid attention to him. Everyone knew he had dyed his hair, and his eyes weren't really noticeable unless you looked.

It didn't take to long to get there. After all, the beach wasn't that far away. He stared out at the beach, which was covered with trash, but seemed to have a pathway, big enough for Midoryia and his large tentacles to fit. That probably led to the clearing.

He began walking down the pathway. Eventually, the path opened up, revealing the clearing. Midoryia was sat on top of a small wooden box, near the edge of the clearing.

He jumped up when he saw Shinsou entering, "Hi Shinsou-kun! I was starting to get worried that you couldn't find the path.." Shinsou only chuckled, "it would be hard not to find, with how wide it had to be for those tentacles of yours."

"So, I guess we should get started?"
