Act 3, Scene 19: Climax
"What are you even talking about?" Makii's voice waned.
At that moment, all Cory wanted to do was rush over to Makii's side and inspect her well-being. Take her back into the World of the Kingdom of Sero. Find a maidservant willing to aid to her needs—
"Isn't it obvious? Look around! Why else do you think this entire place is a void? That there's nothing outside of that little house-kingdom of yours." He glared at Cory at those words. "Because this story is fake."
"N-nonsense." Cory balled his fists. "King Treit would have uncovered this revelation beforehand."
"Oh, your precious king." Vayo crawled and clenched his teeth.
"He is my brother, in fact."
"Even better! Haha! Don't you think he'd be worried that you're wandering here like this? Where is he now?"
Makii shook her head. Her consciousness had found itself by then. "Vayo, stop it."
"What about you? You're a fairy, aren't you? Aren't fairies supposed to be predators? How have you not eaten this person yet? What have you been trying to tell him, huh?
"And you, your precious king-brother–whatever he is! He's vanished, hasn't he? Just like everything else in there?"
Aback, Cory was breathless. Literally. He took a step back. An electric shock of fear mixed with his blood.
"The s-sounds that you scream...are nonsense...How do you explain the senses that can be perceived within the World of the Kingdom of Sero?"
"Because that's all it is. A world. When you step outside, you can't find anything because the author designed you to stay there."
"But we're out here now." Jack Danger countered. He rolled his eyes and looked at Makii, saying to her, "Can't we just get rid of him?"
Vayo's eyes sharpened at those words. He pushed his feet to stand before a piercing sound tore in the air.
FWEEESKTCH.
"ARGH!" Vayo stumbled to the ground again, to which Makii scooted away from where he fell.
FWEEESKTCH.
FWEEESKTCH.
FWEEESKTCH.
Jack Danger flinched, clenching his fist.
FWEEESKTCH.
FWEEESKTCH.
FWEEESKTCH.
Cory glanced around the white plane again.
And another rip tore through the air and in the flesh that wasn't of his corse.
