Yoonwoo's eyes looked at me as soon as I sat on the chair facing the piano. He then decided to sit back on his chair next to the drums as I focused on the piano keys.

My hands trembled a bit as I knew that I hadn't played in years. It would be a bit embarrassing to mess up a note considering that I had mentioned Fur Elise.

It was true that I've played it back then but after not having any practice, it's hard to say that I'd remember the notes for it.

Touching the keys with my hands, I immediately played it and I felt as if I was playing the grand piano that was way back home.

Though, it brought up one specific memory where my mom had always been the one to enjoy the music I played.

My dad was too busy and don’t really listen much to it but as soon as I sit down on the chairs, my mom would always be there next to me, smiling as I only looked at her with happiness beaming in my heart.

I’ve always loved music. It has a special place in my heart.

Even if you feel lost and even drift away from it, as long as you love what you’re doing and it is marked inside of you, it would still pull you back to where you had left it off.

That’s the reason why I still felt comfortable on the piano keys — despite feeling nervous about ever going back.

Because it was already drawn in my soul.

“You seem to remember the composition very well,” Yoonwoo commented as I continued to play it. Brings back a lot of memories from my hometown but most of them were nice.

“It was never forgotten in the first place. It was just a bit lost. There’s a difference between the two,” I shortly answered before closing my eyes and listening to the rhythm.

It almost felt like nothing mattered on what was around me. I was pulled in the hymn that I didn’t even notice someone calling our names outside.

I was about to play on and on, a loud knock on the door disrupted my thoughts.

Jumping a bit and pushing the wrong note, I heard Jihun's voice ringing inside the room and I immediately turned around.

“There you are. Naehyun and Gunyeo had been waiting a long time downstairs.”

We only looked at him in shock as he decides to go inside the music room and raised an eyebrow once he saw me playing the piano.

He took a chair and sat right next to me, playing a bit on the keys before putting his hand under his chin and frowns. “You do know that this is Heejun’s, right?”

“I thought…” I trailed off as he cuts me off and nods.

“No need to worry, he isn’t that strict when it comes to his things. I just didn’t expect you to be here in our music room, that’s all.” Yoonwoo cleared his throat and it took Jihun’s attention away from me.

He then puts his hands on his pockets before he tried to study the both of us. After that, he lets it go and finally went back outside.

“Alright then, make sure to clean up before you both go. The drumsticks, Won. Don’t lose them again,” Jihun commented and Yoonwoo only agreed before the hyung finally left us.

The room became silent once more before I decided to cut it off.

“I'll help you clean this room,” I suggested but he shakes his head before waving his hand.

“No, I can do it. You don't have to—” But since I didn't want to be too bad, I tried going to the scattered large boxes and even helped rearrange them.

He didn't seem to stop me though. Maybe he figured that even if he tried talking me out of it, I wouldn't budge. It took only a few minutes before we finally finished and I went back downstairs to meet the two.

When Naehyun had spotted me, I could already see the frown forming in his face before he came running towards me. “What took you so long? You said you were just going to take a stroll?”

I took a second glance to Yoonwoo, who had signed to me to not tell the others. I'm guessing it was their private space and Yoonwoo practically showing me the room even though it wasn't properly decorated yet was not part of the agreement.

Smiling to Naehyun, I made up a lie. “Oh, I got a bit lost on the other floors. I haven't really explored them yet so it was quite a hassle.”

Though, he didn't seem to buy it.

He tried looking directly to my eyes as I tried to convince myself that it was true. I heard that if you make yourself think a lie is true, then the person you're talking to would think the same. Well, that's what I heard.

I was bad at lying.

There was no way that I can pull this off. If a person stare at me for a long time and demanding the truth, I would either laugh and expose myself or end up blurting it out loud. Which was really hard — considering to how Naehyun had eyed me and Yoonwoo with a suspicious look.

If this keeps up, I won't be able to hide the truth any longer.

I thought that I would get exposed real quick but a voice had made Naehyun shudder and suddenly backed away.

“Give her some space, will you? If she got lost, then she got lost," Jihun had scolded before nodding to Gunyeo.

“Yeo, tomorrow, we might need some help with the program. Come to our office early in the morning, alright?" Gunyeo didn't even complain and just agreed before I feel like Jihun had walked away.

Whew.

Once I met Naehyun's eyes again, he just smiled. “I know you're not really lost, Eysee. Don't worry, the truth always get told.”
