1 year later...

Prypiat, Ukraine.
December 23rd, 1996.
1505 ZULU.

One year later after killing Barkov, tensions between Ultranationalists and Loyalists had started to strain a little bit.

Our next requested assasination was Imran Zakhaev.

For what i knew, he was going to have a deal meeting in Prypiat, in Ukraine's Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

For this mission, i had equipped a Barrett Sniper Rifle, to be exact, it was an M82.

Takumi: You're ready, Lia?

Lia: I'm ready if you are.

I aimed at the meeting zone in the plaza, seeing how Imran Zakhaev arrived.

Lia: Spotted him!

Takumi: Same as well!

When we we're about to shoot, we had to halt for a little moment because of a Mi-8 Hip being in the middle of our sight.

Takumi: Fuck! Don't shoot yet! Wait for him to go!

After the heli left, i still had Imran on my scope sight.

Takumi: It's now or never! Shoot!

I shot him three times, the last one in the head.

Takumi: Target Eliminated! Well done! His arms blew up, and so did his head!

However, the Mi-8 Helicopter from before noticed it.

Takumi: Damnit! He's coming! We need to win some time!

I shot the helicopter pilot and gunner down, eventually disabling the helicopter, which later crashed.

Takumi: Nice shot, Lia! Follow me!

Lia: Understood!

We took the easy route by going down the abandoned hotel we were through a trail.

Once in the ground, we went in direction to the extraction point, while facing Ultranationalists on the way.

Takumi: Watcher, this is Archer Actual, Imran Zakhaev has been killed, in exchange, we've been spotted, we're going towards the extraction point, how copy? Over!

Naga: Archer Actual, this is Watcher, understood, helicopter is on the way, over.

Camilla: System, this is Blackhawk Actual, we're on our way, ETA: 20 minutes, how copy? Over!

Lia: Blackhawk Actual, this is System, solid copy, we're facing Ultranationalists on the way, but we'll handle them, over!

Camilla: Understood, secure your route in the meanwhile, out!

Lia: Copy that, Blackhawk, out!

Reaching the extraction point about 18 minutes later, our extraction helicopter had arrived at the same time, which was a UH-1 Huey

Lia: There she is!

Camilla: There's no more sign of hostile troops for now, get in!

Takumi first got inside the helicopter, and then i got inside after him.

Camilla: Watcher, this is Blackhawk Actual, extraction succesful, we're coming back, over!

Lia: Blackhawk Actual, this is Watcher, solid copy, mission complete, RTB, out!

Camilla: Copy that, we're RTB, out!
