The next day, Paisley and Charlie were ready to Apparate to the Burrow with all their luggage. Paisley stood outside Charlie's cot, still waiting for him. She only had a small suitcase, as she was planning on staying there for four days.
"Sorry, I'm late!" Charlie exclaimed as he ran out his cot, his trunk getting dragged through the mud.
"Idiot," she muttered. "Ready?" she asked.
She didn't exactly understand why he wanted to bring the huge trunk, but he claimed it was because he had presents to give to his family. Paisley personally thought it was because he brought all of his beauty products - hair gel, hair mousse, body lotion, and hand lotion. He claimed it was because being a Dragonologist was tough work on his dry skin.
Charlie nodded and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Oh - wait. Did you know that we're getting a new dragon soon?"
Paisley's head perked up. "Really?"
Charlie chuckled. "Yeah."
"I claim the new eggs that hatch," she declared.
Charlie's eyes widened as he took his hand off her shoulder. "What? That's not fair!" he whined.
"I want to build an army!" she stated.
"Why do you need an army anyway?"
Paisley muttered something, but he didn't hear.
"Sorry, what?"
"They're my babies!" she declared.
Charlie gave her a look. "Paisley, I don't think - "
"They're so cute and I wanna keep them," she pouted.
Charlie shook his head before Apparating.
"That little prick left me," she muttered. "I'll teach him to leave me."
She walked into his house, shoved butter into his boots, changed everything in his house to the pink, and hid the remaining clothes that he left behind.
Now, she was ready to Apparate to the Burrow - though she hoped she could with the limited amount of knowledge she had on the house. She closed her eyes and thought of the Burrow, hoping for the best.
She felt her stomach swirl in anticipation as nerves and opened her eyes once the whoosh in her ears disappeared. She somehow successfully Apparated to the Burrow.
"Hey! You could've warned me before you Apparated!" Paisley shouted with her hands on hips as she set eyes on Charlie, who was in front of her.
Charlie had a cheeky, knowing grin on his face as he copied her posture. "Oops."
Paisley hit him. "So this is the Burrow?"
Charlie smiled nostalgically. "Yeah, this is home."
Paisley sighed, attempting to relieve her nerves in any way possible. "Can't wait."
The two walked up and Charlie knocked on the door. The door immediately flung open.
"Charlie!" twins exclaimed, hugging their big brother.
"Hey, Fred, George," he greeted.
"And who's this?" Fred asked, bringing Paisley in for a hug.
"Hi, I'm Paisley," she greeted from Fred's chest, but it came out muffled.
Fred chuckled. "I'm Gred."
"And I'm Feorge," George said, lifting up Paisley and carrying her inside.
"Those names don't sound right. Is this how you Weasleys greet people?" she called out. "I quite like being carried. It's fun."
Charlie and the twins laughed. A shriek was heard.
"Fred Weasley, you let that girl go!"
"Ouch! Mum, I'm George!"
George set her on the ground, next to Charlie.
"You must be Molly. Nice to meet you, I'm - "
Molly lunged for the girl and hugged the hell out of her. "I know who you are! Charlie always writes about you!"
"Mum!" Charlie whined.
"Oh - dear, let's put your trunk away, shall we?" Molly gestured to the twins. "Put her trunk in the guest room, and any pranks will earn you two weeks of chores without magic!"
The twins groaned as they dragged Paisley's trunk upstairs.
"Now. Let's go meet the others, Paisley," Molly said and looped her arm with Paisley's arm.
Molly led Charlie and Paisley to the garden and backyard outside. Paisley was essentially blinded by the sun and the number of redheads that she saw.
"Merlin," she whispered. "You lot sure are red."
Molly let out a haughty laugh. "That's what you get when a redhead marries a redhead from a long line of redheads. Maybe you'll be lucky and carry on our line." Molly winked and gestured to Charlie who was oblivious to his mother's intentions.
Paisley nervously laughed and shook her head. "Charlie and I are just friends. Nothing more."
"That's what I said about Arthur the first time I met him."
"But I've known Charlie for two years now and I haven't felt anything."
Molly shrugged. "Perhaps you'll like a different redhead from our family. Maybe, you'll like Bill. He went to visit Charlie a couple months ago. Did you get the chance to meet him?"
Charlie scoffed. "She's all Bill talks about, Mum."
Molly's eyes twinkled. "Really now?"
Charlie fake-coughed. "Mum."
"Oh - all right. Boys! Ginny! Come meet your brother's friend!" Molly demanded.
The redheads all walked up to Paisley.
Bill stuck out his hand. "Pleasure to see you again."
"Paisley, watch out!" Charlie exclaimed.
Paisley turned around to see blobs of red hair. George and Fred tackled her, causing her to accidentally shove herself into Bill's arms. The four groaned from the ground.
"You bumbling gits," she insulted.
George and Fred looked up at Paisley as they were lying on top of her with Bill under her.
"You have soft skin, Paisley," George commented.
"Oh, you're right. What sort of lotion do you use?" asked Fred.
Paisley rolled her eyes at the two and grabbed the sides of their heads, then banged their heads together. The twins cried out in pain. She sat up and huffed at the twins who were rolling around the dirt, clutching their foreheads.
"While I'm not complaining about our current position, I think people are watching us," Bill murmured.
Paisley looked away from the twins to the rest of the Weasleys before glancing down to see flowers that she accidentally crushed because of the fall. Well, technically Bill crushed them since he was on the bottom.
Paisley gasped. "Oh, Merlin, I am so sorry, Molly!"
"Oh," she replied sadly, "it's quite alright, dear. It's the twins who should apologize." She turned her head to them and glared.
The twins looked away and whistled innocently.
Paisley extended her hand and touched her fingers to the flower's petals. The petals began to lift up, blooming once again. The previously crushed flower was gone. As that flower bloomed again, the rest of the flowers followed in a line, one by one.
"Holy shit," Ron murmured.
Molly slapped his head. "You will not use that type of language around me!"
Ron grumbled.
"I'm part Earth Nymph - if any of you were wondering," Paisley awkwardly said.
"That's bloody cool!" exclaimed Fred.
"Do you think you can make flowers bloom in chocolate?" asked George.
Fred gasped. "Blooming chocolates!"
"When you open them, vines will wrap around you!" George added.
"Wanna be our business partner?" the twins asked.
Paisley raised her eyebrows. "Uh - "
"Do not bring this young girl into your mischief!" Molly scolded.
"But, Mum!" they retorted.
Paisley looked at Charlie with a confused expression.
Charlie shrugged. "Come on, Paisley, let me give you a tour of the Burrow."
"We can show you all of our inventions!" the twins exclaimed.
"NO!" Molly screeched.
The twins sulked and grumbled, but when Molly looked away, they turned to Paisley. "We're gonna show you our inventions," they whispered.
"I'm in," she whispered back.
The three fist-bumped each other with identical grins. Charlie and Bill looked at each other.
"What have I done, Bill?"
Bill chuckled and slung an arm around Charlie's shoulders, bringing him in against his side.
"It's good to see you again, Charles."
Charlie chuckled. "We saw each other a few months ago, William."
Bill rolled his eyes and ruffled his younger brother's hair. "Don't give me that attitude, young man. Besides, I'm just happy you brought Paisley along. If you didn't, I would have cursed you."
"Oh, I'm so scared of you, Mr. Curse-Breaker," Charlie mocked.
"Careful there."
