It all went so quickly after that. Bucky turned around after throwing the mattress against the wall, looking at the door the Special Forces were trying to knock down. He looked, grabbing the small table he had in the corner with his mechanical hand, and threw it. It lodged itself into the door frame, blocking them from entering.

Lara covered her face when two officers jumped through the windows, spraying glass everywhere. Bucky punched one, incapacitating him. The other one got ready to shoot, and Lara panicked, seeing the rug on the floor and pulling it, knocking the officer off balance. As he fell his finger pulled the trigger, making bullets fly into the walls and roof.

Bucky hit the one that came in the window closer to him again, this time in the back, sending him flying towards the door. The cable the officer had used to scale the building caught him before he flew into the wall, but it sent him hurtling towards the ground.

The door that had been in front of Lara opened, and the girl teleported out of the way not to get it. She ended up behind Bucky, who had made his way to the door, and hit the officer who was trying to get in.

"Buck, stop!" Steve protested, grabbing the Soldier's shoulder. Bucky swung around, ducking his head under Steve's arm as to turn around, facing the Captain. "You're gonna kill someone."

Lara shrieked when Bucky sent Steve onto his back, punching into the wood beside his face with his metal arm. "I'm not gonna kill anyone," Bucky said, before pulling out a backpack from under the floor boards. Lara had to admire how prepared he was for situations like this.

Bucky then through it out the doorway, Lara rushing to the window to see where is landed. It was on the roof of the next building over, and Lara took in the area. Just in case she needed to teleport over there at any moment.

An officer entered through the window that Lara was standing at, making her scurry backwards. He started to shoot at Bucky, the man using his metal arm to deflect the bullets before Steve helped with his shield. Lara glared at the officer, sending a kick to the side of the head that wasn't blocked, successfully knocking him out with one blow. Another officer popping his head and fun in through the window, and Bucky sent Steve flying towards him. Steve flew through the window shield first, knocking the man back, and out (probably).

Once the gun shots were heard, Lara furrowing her eyes as she watched the door hinges get blown off, Bucky turned to her. "A little help, Lara?"

Lara looked at the door, then at Bucky, before running and jumping, getting thrown feet first into the door. Once she had knocked the door out of the way, in mid air she teleported back to standing beside Bucky, who was already starting to make his way out of the door.

Lara rushed forward as one of the officers came through the skylight of the stairwell. She jumped onto him, swing him into the wall, smashing his head into it. Once he swung back, she landing softly on her feet, eyebrows furrowing when she noticed how far down Bucky had got in that moment. And all of the men he had fought through.

Lara rushed down the stairs as fast as she could, trying to catch up with Bucky. Though, she was stopped by two men, and she felt herself tense. Ducking out of the way of a first punch, Lara hit one of the men in the stomach, winding him. She then stood up straight, landing a blow to the neck of the other man. Letting out a grunt as a blow was delivered to her side, she kicked one man in the gut, sending him down the small array of stairs and into the wall, before teleporting behind the other guy and kicking him in the back of the head. This sent him head first into the wall, knocking him out on the process.

By the time this had been dealt with, Steve had caught up with her, and both were now rushing to catch up with Bucky. Steve had leapt across the gap in the middle of the stairs, landing in front of Bucky as the Winter Soldier fought off some men. Lara rushed up behind them and assisted, kicking one of them in the back and sending them to the railing. Bucky pushed him the extra inch, and he was about to topple over the side, and he did, but Steve caught him.

"Come on, man," Steve looked at Bucky, who just glared at him. Steve then threw him at the wall, as Bucky pulled up the railing and used to to swing down. When he was just about to land, he kicked an officer into an apartment door, successfully knocking it down. Lara rushed past Steve, who was taking care of two men, in hopes that she could catch up with Bucky.

She did, but was too late as he jumped over the stair railing, falling a couple of the flights of stairs before latching onto the red metal again, a grunt leaving his mouth as the momentum stopped. Lara rushed to a window, seeing Bucky jump from the apartment building to the rooftop, and closed her eyes, imagining the roof. When she opened them again, the wind was blowing through her hair was Bucky rushed past her, backpack in hand.

She started to run behind him, but was pushed over by a shadow that came out of nowhere. Lara yelped as she fell, landing hard on her wrist, hearing a loud crack from it. However, she pushed herself and watched helpless as Bucky and a man in a black cat suit fought. There was a moment that Lara saw, and she yelled to Bucky before running and jumping. Bucky caught her and swung her around, successfully kicking the cat person away for a second. Though, when Bucky let go of her and she was on her feet, the onslaught made by him continued.

A helicopter came, shooting at both Bucky and the man, who had been trying to kill Bucky. Lara, who wasn't paying attention to the comm in her ear, cheered silently when Sam came and kicked the tail en of the copter.

Lara watched as Bucky then kicked the cat person off of him, before running to the edge of the building and jumping down. He gracefully landed on an edge, making Lara sigh, teleporting to the ground just as the man in the suit jumped and latched his claws to the wall, sliding down it.

"Do we have to deal with Catman?" Lara complained, sighing as stared after them. She ran after them, shaking her head when they jumped into the highway down below the overpass they were on. Though, when Bucky started running, she knew she wouldn't be able to catch up, so she stopped a car, smiling politely at the woman as she shifted her out of the driver seat, glad that there wasn't any other passengers.

Lara sped behind them, making sure to stay in their tails just as she heard the police sirens sound off. Swearing under her breath, Lara made sure to drive a little bit fast, and stay in front of the cars.

Lara followed Bucky through the cans that blocked off the other way, speeding through them. She noticed a police car follow her, and recognized Steve driving it, the cat person holding onto the back. Lara watched in awe as Bucky grabbed a motorcycle speeding towards them, switching the direction of it and taking off speeding again. She followed after him in his path, feeling confusion when she heard something land on her cars roof, then watched the Catman jump at Bucky.

Bucky caught him by the neck, before holding him away from his body and to the wall. Catman used the wall to tip Bucky over, or try to, but Bucky caught himself with his metal hand. Sparks flew, making Lara swerve out of the way, and miss Bucky somehow getting Catman off of him.

Bucky threw an explosion up, both him and Lara clearing it as it went off. Though, Catman had been thrown forward by something, and he swiped Bucky's back tire just as Lara slammed on the breaks of her car. She tried to swerve out of the way of the two men rolling, and was successful, until the point were she was about to roll the car.

With her eyes widened, Lara teleported out of the car just as it started to roll, ending up by the column in front of the car. She turned to the two men, seeing a third, or Steve, tackle Catman off of Bucky in time to save his life.

The ringing of the police sirens then filled the air, and Lara ran over to Bucky, helping him up. Rhodey landed in front of them, repulser beams aimed at Bucky and Lara and Catman, before aiming the big machine gun on his shoulder at Steve. "Stand down now."

Lara raised her hands slightly in the air, knowing it was coming as the Police started to yell German at them. Rhodey looked at the two of them, and Lara smiled guiltily at him, before his focus landed back on Steve. "Congratulations, Cap. Now you're a criminal."

Lara was pushed to the ground, and she shrieked when her cuffs were placed in her wrists, the electric pulse getting sent through them. It hurt, but she knew it was so she couldn't concentrate enough to teleport away from there. Bucky, who was on the ground beside her, looked at her with concern as she tried not to cry.

The electricity hurt.

Lara looked up long enough to see Catman take off him mask, showing off the new King of Wakanda, T'Challa.

"Your Highness," Rhodey said, before Lara was hauled to her feet, a shriek escaping her mouth as the cuffs sent an intense volt through her body. She couldn't move a muscle, or else the electricity would send more volts through her.

She was gently placed in a car, feeling the cuffs dig into the small of her back uncomfortably (more then they already were), and she arched her back slightly, staring up at the roof.

i suck at fight scenes, let's be real here. though, lara is my fave. plus, lucky is adorable guys.
