"Trisha?Briar? What are you doing here?"

The door opened to revealed a smiling Briar and a grim looking Trisha.

"We were hiding to picked something that we forgot to bring for the class.Lilia,where do you think you're going,huh?" Briar gave a creepy smile and Lilia backed away from her.Dang,that girl is creepy.Creepy as in 'I will killed you and then kill you again' kind of creepy.

Trisha looked at her.She shrugged."Briar,go and pack."

"Okay!" She skipped of.

"You're not here to stop me?" Lilia asked quietly.

"I don't know what you were thinking when you decided to go somewhere without telling us. At this Lilia bowed her head shamefully. But something must have happen.The familiars are getting nervous,magic is getting more out of controlled than usual and the nature is scared.Whatever it is,I'm going with you." Trisha looked at her."That's what you are doing,right?"

Lilia stood there,stunned by the words that may be the longest of what Trisha had ever said to her.

Trisha packed finish her things and went to called Briar.

You have good friends,Lilia.

Lilia's eyes filled with tears.

"The best friends ever." She whispered before wiping any signs of tears away.

Ember ran with fox like speed,her eyes trained in front of her.

I must get to her.

She followed Red as she dashed in and out of trees, bushes and everything else.That fox really packs a punch.

Ember gather all her speed and ran even faster,only to crashed into somebody.

Well,nearly.Cursing at her accident,she dodged sideways and slowly slowed down.Had she crashed into him,his bones would have been crushed to pieces.

Wait,him?

She turned to see James looking at her with an amused smile.She snarled at him and his smile vanished.

Wow me and my luck.

Ignoring the butterflies that was creeping into her stomach,she was about to dashed away when he grabbed her arm.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.Ember jerked her arm away from him.

"Nowhere you should know."Ember spat in a bitter tone.Regret flashed in his eyes for a moment before it was gone.

"Go away.I don't speak with a guy who cheated in the arena."

"Listen,it was an accident,I didn't know that was your bow-

"Which you of course,snap into two."

He stayed silent.

"Good thing I have my bow repaired,or I would have torn you to pieces." She snapped and started to run again.

She growled in annoyance to herself as he started to follow her with a safe distance.

Red,what am I suppose to do?I can't just let him come with us!

The fox stayed silent for a while.

You know,Ember,you should try and forgive him and tell him what's giving on.He's not a bad guy.

Except for the fact that he broke my one and only bow,than yes,he is.

Ember..we'll need someone to accompanied us if you want to cross the boundary between the Schools.

Wait,there's a boundary?

Okay,fine!We'll just bring him along.But don't expect me to act all nice to him.

The boundary is ruthless,Ember.If you really want to cross it,you have to fight your deepest terror within yourself.It will only affect you because you're the one who wants to past.Me and James will only be with you.

Its time.

Beckoning a demon,he looked at it.

"Do what you must do."

"Yes,my liege."It disappeared without another word.

Sighing,he mulled over what had happened as his tail twitch.He had lived as long as he could,driving his forces to spread.It was he,after all,who had cause the Great War.True,they had lost a lot of his armies,but his younger self was cruel.More ruthless and had never thought of the pain his forces must go through.

His time had nearly come,but he was curious.Curious to see how they would fared.To him,this was but a show.

But where would this start,and where would it end?

Gazing at the ceiling,he thought back to his faithful days.

"General."

"Yes?"Discipline calls the general to called him my lord,but he swallowed it back.He knows that he was tired,and his time was nearly out.They had stick through thick and thin,and he was grateful for the time they had spent together.

"What should I do now?"

After all,who says that all demons are evil?

Gathering her books,she walked towards her room as she think about the homeworks she had today.

Other than the three pages essay Professor Malerrick had given us to write about the History of the Borders,that should be all.

She turned into a corner when she was snatched by somebody.

Sapphire opened her mouth to screamed when the person covered her mouth.Her familiar,a cobra,hissed at the intruder.

"Don't do anything foolish,or you may just have your life ended."An unfamiliar language was said to her.She didn't understand the language,but there was no need to.The meaning behind the words was enough.Behind her,her familiar,a cobra,hissed.

"What do you want from me?"She spat.

The demon smirked."I smelled fear"

"So?"She challenged.

"I saw your parents."She froze.This time,she understood what it said.

"Lovely parents you have.Your mother is quite beautiful,yes?"

"What do you want?"Sapphire whispered,despair clawing its way out.

"I want you to be our spy.And inform me of what's going on with your friends,Ember and Lilia.Quite an...interesting pair,hmm,Sapphire?"

"You want me to betrayed them?Never!"She snapped.

"Then you can say goodbye to your parents."

"No!"She wailed.The demon laughed coldly.

"See that what I said is done.Pretend that you saw Ember leaving the School and ask your roommate to accompany you.Your friend,Ember,is at the boundary now."

"I...I.."She swallowed."Alright."She whispered.

"Good."The demon disappeared without another word.

Saying nothing,she slowly crumpled onto the ground.Tears streamed down her face.

"Ember...Lilia..."

"I'm so sorry."

Along the way,Red had already explained to James about what they were going to do while Ember stayed silent.

The boundary.

A solid magic shield suddenly appeared,separating the Schools.Only now did she saw it,the aura of magic nearly suffocating her.Behind her,she could hear James taking a deep breath.

"Who dares to trespassed the boundary?"Two voices said.

Deep magic runs in the grounds,Ember.Be careful.

"Then suffer,human."

Ember's in a deep risk now.The boundary is actually a woman that was to keep guarded the thing.She was created by the first Headmasters of the Schools.Yes,its alive,which is why I wrote that Red said 'it' was ruthless.

Boundary-The thing that separates the two Schools from each other

Border- Edge line of the whole Schools.Prevent unwanted creatures or people to get in.

Just to clear this thing up.
