Eclipse woke up with a start from her sister shaking her. After realizing it was only Star, she groaned, "What do you want?"

Star sighed, "Lessons are about to start, c'mon."

She dug through Eclipse's drawers and threw some clothes at her before walking out the cabin. Eclipse rolled out of bed and took her time getting dressed. She looked down at her outfit and was surprised to see that they actually went together. The light gray t-shirt was slightly big, but the jeans were actually the right size. Still half asleep, she made her way to the porch to find Ash waiting for her.

He put a comforting hand on her shoulder, "Astrid told me what happened. Are you okay?"

She didn't want to talk about it. It was only a dream, nothing more. Except the possibility of it actually being her future. But the future is just that, the future not the present. You can always change the future. She shook her head, "I'm fine. Just tired. Do we have time before lessons for breakfast?"

He gave her a sorry look, "Afraid not, everyone else is already headed toward the training building."

Eclipse sighed loudly, "Ugh, now I'll be hangry. What's the lesson today?"
He shrugged, "Don't know. Something about a game. If it makes you feel any better, I skipped out on dinner last night and breakfast."

She groaned, "That doesn't make me feel any better. I missed three meals. They better have a good lunch and dinner today."

Ash rolled his eyes and nodded. They began to walk silently through the woods to the training building. Nite was standing outside the doors with a sympathetic look. As she got closer, she noticed Nite was holding a plate. She picked up her pace and stopped right in front of him. He held the plate out for her and she gratefully accepted. There was a variety of fruits, he smiled a bit, "Thought you might like something to eat. The lesson won't start for at least another five minutes so if you want to eat out here then that's fine."

She nodded her head and Nite walked inside. She grabbed a few strawberries before offering Ash some. He smiled while grabbing some blackberries. He thanked her and then they finished the fruits without talking. She didn't know what to do with the plate so she left it by the doors.

They went inside and they took the same seat they had last time. Eclipse shifted uncomfortably next to Cole and avoided looking at him. Ash gave her a reassuring smile. Tyson made his way to the front of the group and clapped his hands once, "Today were going to do a little competition. We're going to split you into teams for a relay race. This is going to test you while in your dragon form. It's going to include flying, running, and swimming. The winning team will get dessert after dinner tonight."

Nite was the one to call the teams, "Team one is Eclipse, Gust, Flame, and Hydra. Team two is Amber, Ash, Astrid and Cole. Last but not least, team three is Star, Ray, Cliff, and Cain. Pebble, you're going to be the judge. When you're in your team, go ahead and meet behind this building."

Eclipse was quick to get up and get away from Cole. Even if it was only a dream, She didn't want to be anywhere near him. At least not at the moment. She walked over to Hydra, "Bet we're gonna win with you. You're the best swimmer here."

Hydra blushed, "Thanks but I doubt I'm going to be of much use for running and flying. You're good at everything."

Eclipse rolled her eyes and laughed a little, "You obviously haven't seen me in my dragon form in a while."

Hydra shook her head and smiled. Soon enough, the two boys of the team joined them. Gust was smiling. Eclipse was beginning to believe that he never frowns. Flame greeted the group by nodding his head once. The team didn't seem too bad to Eclipse. But she's never seen Flame's nor Gust's dragon form and their performances. She wouldn't mind losing though, it was only a fun competition. Nothing serious.

The group made their way behind the training building to wait for the other two groups. When the groups finally arrived, Roxy explained the course, "You will each run the course once, when the last person in your group is done, then you're finished. From here you will run the path over there to a lake," She pointed straight across the clearing to a well maintained path, "After swimming across the lake, you will fly back here and then the next person will go as soon as you land. Go ahead and find out the order you're going to go."

Eclipse looked over her group, "I could go last. Anyone want to go first?"

Gust nodded his head, "Yeah, I'll go first. Then Flame can go."
Flame laughed a bit, "I can't even volunteer myself without you doing it for me.

But I'm fine with going second. If that's fine with you Hydra?"

She nodded, "Go right ahead, I don't mind."

Their group lined up in the order they agreed on. Eclipse looked at the other groups to see who she would most likely be racing against. The last kids in the other groups were Amber and Ray. She thought she could beat Amber, but she wasn't quite so sure about Ray.

Roxy spoke from behind the lines of kids, "Whenever I start the race, the first person will shift and run to complete the course. And so on and so forth. Ready, get so, go!"

Eclipse watched as Gust shifted into his dragon form. He had light grays and white that seemed to blend together. Eclipse had to admit, he was a pretty fast runner. He was able to outrun both Ash and Cliff to the trail. After they disappeared on the trail, she didn't know who would be back first.

All the kids were looking to the sky to see who would be back first. After several minutes of waiting, Eclipse heard the flapping of an approaching dragon. She looked to the sky and saw two dragons, Ash and Cliff. She hung her head a bit. Hydra tapped her shoulder and pointed to the sky where Gust was passing the other two and then landing in front of their line. He shifted and then gave a high five to Flame who began running.

Flame was a tad bit slow but with the lead he had he might be able to get to the trail first. That was until Astrid started running. She was faster than Flame. It didn't take her long to pass him.

Astrid was the first one back followed by Cain. Flame wasn't back yet. Eclipse sighed as Cole and Start started running. Flame finally landed whenever the other two were already halfway across the field.

Hydra wasn't any faster than Flame when it came to running. She made it to the trail after the two already made it there. Eclipse waited nervously for her turn to run the course.

Even with her late start, Hydra was the first to land. Eclipse looked to the sky to see Cole and Star not far behind. She took off running while shifting, eyes set on the trail. The further down the trail, the more sticks and stones were in the way. She easily dodged the obstacles and found her way to the lake. This lake was even larger than the other one. She took a few steps back and jumped as far as she could into the lake.

She barely made it twenty yards before Ray and Amber were getting in the lake. She pushed herself to swim faster, she didn't go much faster and soon Ray was right behind her. Amber was slower than Eclipse at swimming.

It took a while for Eclipse to get to the other side of the lake. Ray was already out and beginning to fly back towards the start. As soon as Eclipse got out of the water and shook herself dry, she took off towards the sky. Ray was fast at flying, Eclipse had to admit that, they were pretty much equal. They were neck to neck as Eclipse could see her group.

As they got within a few yards, Ray began diving to the ground. Eclipse copied their move. Ray was able to land just a bit before Eclipse. She shifted back and looked towards Ray, "You were amazing, good job."

Ray shrugged it off, "It was really close. I'm surprised you didn't pass me sooner. Would've thought you would go into a dive as soon as you saw your group."

She shook her head and smiled, "Sad thing is that I did. Can't see that well in the day."

They nodded their head in understanding, "It's fine. Like I said, it was anyone's win. Maybe we should do this again in the night or something."

Eclipse nodded her head and walked back to her group. Even though they didn't win, she received high fives from everyone. She had to admit, the race was really fun. She was interrupted with Astrid and Ash trying to get her attention. She walked over to them. They were standing away from the rest of the kids.

Astrid kept her voice low so no one could hear their conversation, "When you and Ray were talking I think Cole was listening. Not that you were trying to keep quiet or anything."

Ash continued before Eclipse could respond, "After you mentioned not seeing well in the day, Cole went over to talk with Nite. When you had that nightmare, did you happen to recognize anyone besides Cole?"

Eclipse shook her head, "No, I only knew Cole. Is there any other reason we should be wary of Nite?"

"No, but I think we shouldn't completely trust him," Astrid replied.

Eclipse thought that she could trust Nite. But now she trusted him slightly less. She would give him the benefit of the doubt though. Perhaps Cole was asking what's for lunch. Thinking of lunch made her stomach growl.

She nodded her head before walking off. Nite was still talking with Cole, so she went over to Roxy, "Quick question. When's lunch? I'm starving."

Roxy laughed as if Eclipse was joking, "Lunch won't be ready for another few hours. But if you're that hungry, you can head to the kitchen and make a sandwich or something."

Eclipse grumbled then started walking to the cabins. When Ash noticed Eclipse walking off by herself, he ran to catch up with her, "Where you going in such a rush?"

"To the kitchen. Apparently we're allowed to fix our own food and no one thought of telling us."

"Really?" At the mention of more food, Ash started walking quicker.

Soon the two of them were racing each other to the mess hall. Eclipse could've easily outrun him but she held back to make sure he never left her line of sight. When they entered the building and went to the kitchen, they were a little surprised there was no one else there. Not even any assistants were there. Eclipse thought there would be people working on making lunch.

Ash went straight to the fridge, "This place has everything. What are you in the mood for?"

Eclipse laughed at his enthusiasm towards the food filled fridge, "Anything that's edible."

She walked over to a door and opened it. The pantry was massive. Luckily for Eclipse, it was at least organized. She found some bread and grabbed a few slices. She put a paper towel on a counter that was in the middle of the kitchen and placed her bread on it. She went over to the fridge where Ash was still looking at everything. He scooted out of her way. She grabbed a package of Lebanon bologna and provolone cheese.

She put a few slices of bologna on two slices of bread and put a slice of cheese on top. She finished making her two sandwiches and put the leftover bologna and cheese back into the refrigerator. By the time she was done and went out to the dining area, Ash was starting to cook something.

As Eclipse finished eating her first sandwich, Ash was exiting the kitchen carrying a bowl of pasta. She glanced at the bowl. Ash looked at her with a smile, "I fixed enough for both of us. If you want some, you can get it. But on one condition, I get the other sandwich."

Without hesitation, she handed him the other sandwich. Within minutes she was eating a bowl of pasta. Ash is a great friend, what would Eclipse do without him?
