Eclipse and Isaiah shared the guest room as Tiffany refused to rest any and instead guard the room. Not that there was anything to guard them from besides for Ash occasionally trying to take a peek in the room to check on his best friend. Ash wasn't sure if he trusted the two newcomers. Especially Isaiah who seemed to be really close to Eclipse.

Eclipse woke up with a start as she heard the front door open and a few sets of footsteps entered. She quickly calmed down only to become excited a few seconds later. She wasn't expecting them to return so soon. Not that she had any idea of what time it was. How many days have truly passed since they've left the kingdom?

With a quick glance to Isaiah who laid peacefully on one of two beds, Eclipse hurried out the room and down the hall to the living room. She was met with her sister rushing forwards to envelop her in a warm embrace. When Star pulled away, Eclipse finally got a good look around the room. The sheer amount of people that could fit inside the small confines of the building was surprising. Mostly the kids and leaders from the training trip but also a few guards that she recognised from her kingdom. There were also people that she didn't recognise but appeared to also be guards from other kingdoms.

One of the guards dressed in the standard issued Ember army stepped forward, keeping her head bowed, "I have a message for you, Princess Eclipse."

Eclipse took the rolled piece of paper that seemed to appear from nowhere in the guard's hands. The royal seal was displayed on the maroon colored ribbon wrapped around the paper. It didn't feel right to open such an important document around others so she excused herself to the guest room.

Isaiah was still in bed quietly sleeping facing away from the door. Eclipse took a seat on the spare bed and stared at the paper unsure about what to expect. She gently untied the ribbon and sat it beside her.

The paper dropped from her hands after she finished reading it. She was ordered to remain away from the kingdom. There was no date to say when she could return, only that she couldn't go back until the group that took her was stopped. What worsened the note was that it was signed by her own parents.

Tears slipped from her eyes. She didn't bother to wipe them away. Why would her parents do something like this? Did Star get the same letter, how about Ash and Astrid? The thoughts swirling around her head with all the what-if situations refused to slow down for even a moment. Not until Isaiah sat beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

They sat in silence for what seemed like an eternity until Eclipse felt calm enough to explain the letter. Isaiah consoled her until there was a knock on the door. Star entered with Ash just behind her. They carried similar rolled up papers with the very same ribbons.

Isaiah awkwardly scooted away as Ash and Star hugged Eclipse. They were all crying together. It would've been heartwarming under other circumstances, but it's not. Star explained through tears that only Eclipse couldn't return. Everyone else was ordered to, it wasn't a choice for them. They couldn't stay with her. She'll be alone until that group falls.

There was another knock on the door. Tyson peeked inside at the bundled mass of a bear hug. He looked at them solemnly and Eclipse knew; this would be the last time she'll see them in who knows how long.

Star and Ash hesitated before leaving the room. The waterworks began again and Isaiah went back to comforting her. The cabin fell deathly quiet after everyone left. Madi soon entered the room quietly and the bed dipped at the added weight.

Madi was talking but Eclipse wasn't listening. She was dissociating until Isaiah stood up. His eyes were filled with determination as he gave Eclipse a small smile, "It'll be okay. I'm going to make sure they pay what they've put you through. I'll be back, you'll be able to return home soon."

Eclipse tried to protest but it was futile. There was no changing his mind. Madi held her closer as two pairs of boots could be heard leaving through the front door.

There's no one else around. Just Madi and Eclipse. Everyone else just packed up and left, not to return for the foreseeable future.
