NGL I got lost in watching this episode so I had to watch it twice lmaoo not complaining though

Mount Justice

The Justice League was busy putting the cave back in order, setting the zeta beams back up and placing the security measures back in place, synching them with those at the Watchtower.

The team was gathered at a table by the zeta beams after the ordeal with the Reds, recuperating. Wally had his head in his arms, resting on the table. Conner stood at the end of the table with Pietro while the rest of them sat, staring as Green Arrow placed a bowl of pretzels in front of Wally.

"Thanks, but no thanks."

Robin turned more towards the Leaguers. "Yeah, what we want are answers. About Red Tornado and his siblings."

Wanda flinched, holding her head. "Not so loud, please. Migraine, remember?"

Robin smiled sheepishly. "Oops, sorry."

Conner looked off to the side where Kaldur was talking with Batman, using his super hearing to listen in on the conversation.

"-during the mission with Red Arrow. Sportsmaster revealed the possibility of a mole within the team. In light of last nights attack, Tornado would appear to be the traitor. But whether he betrayed us willingly or was preprogramed is still-"

"You knew?!" Conner flew across the room, grabbing Conner by the shirt. "That android and his maniac family nearly killed M'gann!"

"Conner, what're you doing?!"

"Kaldur knew we had a traitor among us and said nothing!" Conner yelled as the rest of the team came closer.

"You knew-"

"-and didn't tell us?"

"Those androids nearly killed my sister! And you're telling me it could've been prevented!?" Pietro snarled. Wanda winced, not wanting to voice that she didn't believe it was the androids that caused her injuries. They had been happening for far too long.

"I sought to protect the team from-"

"Protect us from what? Knowledge that might have saved our lives?" Artemis snarked.

"You almost died!" Pietro pointed out to Wanda, who frankly, thought he was exaggerating.

"Enough." Batman spoke, breaking the team up with just his words. "With Red Tornado...missing, the team will now be overseen by rotating supervisors. Captain Marvel has volunteered to take the first shift."

"I'm really looking forward to hanging with you guys."

"After I dismantle Red Tornado, you and I are gonna-"

Batman walked up, interrupting Conner's threat to Kaldur. "Red Tornado is member of the Justice League. That makes him a League responsibility. You will leave him to us." He turned, pulling up the holographic computer. "I have another assignment for this team."

"Gotham mayor attacked by guerilla gorilla?" Wally scoffed.

"Batman please. Tell us you aren't sending us on this joke of a wild ape chase." Robin grumbled.

"I never joke about the mission." Batman glowered. "I checked the sources, I've studied the patterns. Mayor Hill's encounter is only the latest in a series of incidents. Aqualad, you and your team will depart for India and check this out."

The team started to walk to the bioship, some sending glares and the cold shoulder Kaldur's way. Wanda sighed, making her way to Kaldur. He looked at her surprised. "I don't blame you, you made the right choice. They'll come around, just give them time. For now, let's focus on the mission, okay?"

"Thank you, Wanda."

They walked to the bioship, surprised to see Captain Marvel there. "You're coming with?"

"Sure. We'll have a blast!"

"Translation, he blames us for Red Fiasco." Robin whispered to Wally. "Doesn't trust us."

Wally glared at Kaldur. "Its a big club."

Northern India

September 23, 21:36 IST

The bioship landed and the team disembarked. "Switch to stealth mode and we'll review mission parameters."

"Parameters? We don't need parameters." Kid Flash spat.

"Yeah, its recon. We know what to do." Robin and Kid Flash went to run away until Aqualad called them. "The three of us started this team because the Justice League was keeping secrets from us."

"Or did you forget that, like you forgot to tell us about the mole?" They disappeared into the forest, leaving the rest of the team behind.

Superboy tried to bring Miss Martian with him to protect her but she did not want to go with him because he was being patronizing, so she went off with Artemis, leaving Superboy to yell at Aqualad before taking off. Captain Marvel, Aqualad, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch all stood there staring at one another before Quicksilver scoffed, picking Scarlet Witch up and running off with her.

Pietro!

What?

We can't just leave Kaldur, he is our leader!

Yeah, and he almost got you killed!

No, the...Reds did.

And Kaldur knew about them and didn't warn us.

I scanned his mind, he did not know Red Tornado had siblings. Now put me down! I can walk.

As Quicksilver was putting Scarlet Witch down they heard a growling from the brush. They turned just in time as a massive tiger jumped out at them. They screamed, diving out of the way.

What the hell?!

Forget what I said, pick me up, pick me up, pick me up!

As Quicksilver went to his sister the tiger attacked, slashing the speedsters leg. He cried out, falling to the ground. Scarlet Witch screamed, throwing a shield around her and her brother that the tiger circled, hunting them like prey.

It was then that she noticed the collar on its neck, blinking red. She figured wild tigers don't normally wear collars so this was an abnormality, one that hinted at possible control of the animal. So she took a risk, focusing some of her energy on ripping the collar off.

The collar went flying off just as she heard Miss Martian's voice saying that the animals were wearing inhibitor collars like the prisoners at Belle Reve. She listened to everyone berate Aqualad on the mind link, growing increasingly frustrated as she couldn't reply, didn't have the energy to as she had to focus on the shield because the tiger was still circling her. She heard Aqualad say Captain Marvel had been taken and gasped.

"Alright, 'tro, I could really use your help here. I don't know how much longer I can hold this shield for." She spoke to her brother as he observed his healing leg.

"Give me a sec, sis. Alright...there!" Quicksilver snatched Scarlet Witch, speeding away from the tiger a split second later. They ran and kept running until they came upon a building, Quicksilver trying to stop but he slammed into a force field surrounding it, getting the two of them zapped and knocking them out.

When they came back to consciousness, they were strapped down to surgical tables. Scarlet Witch came back to first, dazed. "Wh-where are we?"

"Oh, hey Witchy!"

"Captain Marvel! What's happening?"

"This little French dude wants to take our brains, no biggie."

"Correction, Captain Marvel. I want your brain. These other two, they are disposable." Scarlet Witch looked around with her eyes, noticing she couldn't move her body. "Ah, interesting. This one, I have never seen such an advanced case of this...condition."

"What are you talking about?" She snarled, anxiety gnawing at her. "What 'condition'?"

"You-" Before he could continue the wall blew in and there floated Miss Martian, the rest of the team, minus Superboy, running in behind her.

"Its the Brain!" Kid Flash called out. The team jumped into battle with Monsieur Mallah and the Brain, eventually defeating them and freeing. The Brain powered up a big device. "Get down!"

The lights went out for a minute and when they came back on the Brain and Mallah were gone. Aqualad went over and freed Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Captain Marvel.

"Thank you." Scarlet Witch mumbled, frazzled by what the Brain had said.

They made their way back to the bioship, Superboy deciding to keep the wolf friend he had made. Robin stopped Aqualad. "Look, I have to know. Why did you keep the mole intel a secret?"

"The source of the intel was Sportsmaster."

"What? You can't trust him." Artemis cried out.

"I know. It seemed likely that he was just trying to divide the team with the information. And he nearly succeeded, but as leader I had to consider it was a possibility."

"I hate to say it, but, makes sense." Robin grinned.

"I am still prepared to step down."

"All in favor of keeping Aqualad as leader." Everyone raised their hands. Aqualad grinned. "I guess its unanimous."

They all boarded the bioship, making their way back to the mountain.

Undisclosed Location

"The seeds of doubt and worry have been sown. The girl now knows of an ailment plaguing her but not the nature or depth. She is beginning to question and search for answers."

"Good, good. It is only a matter of time before she sees the Light."
